Хотел "Хеброс"

This hotel was disappointing after having read the description. It may have changed hands. A Travel Firm booked this as part of our package, and we were given a budget annexe room: there are two. The Firm were never informed of budget rooms, yet we were told that is what they asked for. The room had a kettle, and cups but no tea, coffee, milk or sugar. There was no complimentary mineral water. The door had been scratched severely by a dog that had been left in there. There was no way of communicating with the reception, or material relating to the hotel, ie breakfast times etc. The breakfast was poor, no fresh juice, the milk seemed to have been boiled and cooled, judging by the skin across it. We had to ask for fresh milk. There was no fresh fruit, and very tepid water for Tea. It was just so disappointing and we ask future people booking to ensure they have a main room, not an annexe room and not to expect 5 star. Having been in 5 star hotels, we do know what to expect. |The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the water for the shower, hot.

It's the "BEST" hotel while I was staying in Bulgaria! Every part of it in Plovdiv, is stunningly gorgeous with fantastic services by the reception lady, who is so elegant and friendly toward my friend and me! It has its own parking area nearby, which brought me much convenience and safety to pull over my car rented from Romania. With such an excellent accommodation experience, I would definitely recommend this hotel, worthy of the name!

Beautiful antique room, great bath, lovely bed, charismatic wonderful space. Nice breakfast. |However… |The concierge shared his DNA with of a plank of wood. Unhelpful, unfriendly and nowhere to be found when you needed him. |Didn’t even say thank you or goodbye when we left. He just filtered into the shadows with the 40lev for parking. |The woman was communicative, helpful and friendly. Maybe she should run it. |(Oh, and the restaurant is shut)|On another note. Plovdiv itself is very quiet, not much to do, in retrospect we should have spent no more than 2 nights.

Pros: location Cons: WiFi was terrible, parking was difficult and there were no instructions, the photos show that you would get a whole apartment, but in reality you don’t, when checking out there’s nobody at the front desk to check you out so the expectation is you do downstairs to find the lady so you can give her the keys although there’s no sign to do that. There was also mold in the bathroom and the bed frames were broken. Overall, the hotel needs better management and needs some work. The location is great which is why people stay there, but I would not recommend it.

A must visit for anyone staying in or even passing through the area. A beautiful hotel hidden within the old town of Plovdiv in an Old Bulgarian Renaissance building, sporting a quiet and romantic restaurant with live music and delicious food. The staff is friendly and professional and the chef made us the most delicious pork breasts that I cannot recommend enough. Came here for a date on a recommendation from a friend and it's safe to say I will be a returning customer any time I'm in the area.

Having stayed at Hebros many times, it felt like home to return. But each time I notice more acutely what makes it feel like home—except more exquisite. Even before arrival, the receptionist, was extremely helpful via email in reserving the nicest room and my favorite one, at the best price. Upon arrival I was met by the friendly receptionist on duty. The team is always helpful in selecting the right room and organize my stay in utmost details as I have asked kindly by email. making sure that everything is good. I highly recommend this hotel! The food and service at the restaurant is at its best! The deserts were great!

Lovely location, the rooms are authentic and the cedarwood aroma was all around. The receptionist woman was very pleasant and polite. The server in the restaurant ( at dinner and lunch) was lovely and very attentive. Breakfast buffet is rather simple, but does the job.:)

Elegant hotel in the old town. The breakfast was very delicious. ||All staff were so welcoming and helpful and ready to answer every question. The room was very clean and cozy, with atmosphere and traditional style in the interior - very impressive! We had a lovely 3 days stay. ||Recommend!
