Hotel Heevan Retreat

5 Star experience in a 4 star hotel. Must consider for a great view especially if you are coming in winters. Adequate heating. 24*7 hot water available. Staff is very courteous. They can improve on food taste. Dinner was awesome but breakfast was okay.

Amazing hospitality and food at Dilkusha restaurant. They really put up a good buffet. We were there for 5 nights and menu was exceptional. The staff brought warm food right to table especially the tandoori rotisserie.||The bathrooms were clean and loved the service. Everyone was very attentive.

Visited the Heevan Retreat Gulmarg in mid-December, and the hotel was beautifully blanketed in snow—it was truly a magical sight! The snowy landscape added a serene and fulfilling charm to the stay.||The room size was decent and offered a lovely view of the surroundings. However, being a wooden structure, there were occasional creaking sounds from the neighbouring doors.||The food was satisfactory, though there’s room for improvement. They have an activity room with pool and carroms. Overall, the snow-covered setting and the cozy warm ambiance made it a memorable experience!

The place is beautiful. The food was good. Special mention to JAVED and team.Though the rooms are smaller but there was central heating and 24 /7 hot water which made up for it. The place is near to gondola ride. The place is kept clean. The bathrooms are clean. But needs renovation. As a whole had a comfortable and cosy stay ..

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Heevan Retreat. The location is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views that truly enhance the experience. The food was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to every palate. The staff were attentive and helpful, even though they didn’t always smile, they were professional and efficient. There was some construction work happening in preparation for winter, but it didn’t disturb our stay at all. The outdoor garden was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, a great place to stay for a peaceful and scenic getaway. Highly recommended!

Stayed at Hotel Heevan Retreat, Gulmarg, for a delightful winter getaway. The location is perfect, close to the Gondola, with breathtaking mountain views. Rooms are cozy, well-heated, and impeccably clean. The food was delicious, especially the bakery items. Staff was warm and attentive, making the stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for a comfortable and scenic retreat!

A very charming property, definitely a hidden gem in Gulmarg. Aesthetically a cute and rustic cabin atop a small hill--lined with carved wooden panels, embroidered fabrics, and beautiful carpets--it feels very cozy and welcoming. Staff is great--very pleasant and helpful, they accomodated food allergies and the food here was excellent! We ended up extending our stay here, partly because of how great this hotel was, and partly because of how stunning Gulmarg looks in January, covered under a blanket of snow. Overall, we're having a really lovely time here!

We had a pleasant stay at Heevan Retreat Gulmarg, where we spent two nights. The hospitality provided was commendable, and the accommodations were satisfactory. The cuisine was delightful, albeit somewhat pricey. The hotel is ideally located, just a ten-minute walk from the cable car. In winter, the surroundings resemble a paradise.
