Hotel Helios Benidorm

We had such a wonderful stay at the Helios. We wanted to say thank you in particular to William the lifeguard, he was so helpful, friendly and smiley. All the staff were. Customer service was exceptional with the lovely Julia coming round every day to check if everything was ok with our stay. She was amazing. Lots of great breakfast choice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable beds

This was our third time returning to Helios. It’s without a doubt the best hotel in Benidorm! After a bad experience on a previous holiday due to a break in, feeling safe and secure is everything to me. There is security on the door at night and always a member of staff on the desk so you always feel very safe in the hotel at night. Location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk from the strip but far away enough that you don’t hear any noise at all. We always stay half board because the food is always amazing. Such a good variety, even for people who are fussy eaters. Mercedes has helped us out on an occasion and she is a credit to the hotel, always walking around during dinner/ breakfast times and around the pool chatting to guests which is great to see. The staff go above and beyond at hotel Helios, the cleaners always working so hard and always say good morning/ afternoon which makes you feel so welcomed into the hotel. The rooms are modern and if you choose to, get cleaned everyday. I can’t wait to return in August!

Arrived on the 17th June for an 11 night stay .We booked a Premium room half board . check in was very quick by the lovely and very helpful receptionist Angeles.The lovely helpful Angela & Martin who helped us during our stay .Our room was on the 9th floor with a large room and modern bathroom with a huge balcony with views of the pool & garden,We have stayed in the Helios on many occasions and it never fails to disappoint from the moment we arrive .All the staff are very friendly and make our stay memorable. The hard work shines through out the immaculately clean Hotel .No queuing for lifts, no stampedes in the resturant ,no sunbed runs !! Everything runs so smoothly. The resturant caters for all nationalities,offering hot & cold meats ,fish,a fantastic selection from the salad bar and lovely tapas dishes . A great variety of breakfast choices and the delicious fruits &desserts .Paco the breakfast chef makes delicious ham & cheese omelettes on request. A must try! The hotel as a spa,a lovely walk in pool with pool bar , fantastic friendly and helpful bar staff .Thankyou all you were a amazing throughout our stay! The lifeguards on duty during our stay were very friendly and so helpful .All in all a fantastic hotel with amazing staff who made our stay very memorable. Great hotel . Checked in by a lovely lady on reception - didn’t catch her name unfortunately. Room at the back of the hotel overlooking the road but that was fine- no noise came through the patio doors . Free safe . Really cold air con. Cleaned everyday . Pool area good. No issue getting sun beds . Turn up anytime and find somewhere to sunbathe . Breakfast great choice . All nice and hot and good choice of fruits and meat and cheese etc . Bread rolls and pastries all fresh. Didn’t like the coffee out of the machine but that’s my personal choice. Stayed all over Benidorm and this is now our fav hotel .

This was our second visit to this hotel. We love everything about it - great location - 5 min walk to the beach. It is round the corner from the market and right in the centre of the bars of the New Town and yet the hotel is quiet. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has a luxurious feel to it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool area is large and lovely. Even though the hotel allows people to reserve beds, we always got a bed at any time of day. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and they can't do enough for you. The restaurant is large and kept super clean and the staff are all happy and smiling - especially Diego who waits to welcome you with a word and a smile. Definitely the only hotel for us in Benidorm.

Top quality hotel. Modern decor & spotlessly clean throughout. The rooms are large with Comfy bed & good shower & balcony. Its location is fantastic for the lively spots of Benidorm & a short walk to the beach. Surprisingly quite for it's location, the pool area is a little oasis. The breakfast was good and plenty of options.

Front desk and service staff was great. Quick and easy check in. Included dinner was sub par and slightly upset my friends stomach. Was shocked when basics like water and coffee was not included but needed to be purchased separately. Breakfast on other hand was good. Plenty of selection from full English to good healthy choices mad a bit for people with a sweet tooth. Another strange thing was how early the pool was shot down at 7pm that's way too early. Over all good experience for the price.

We were a group of 6 ladies and we had the most wonderful stay in this hotel. The check in process was excellent. Staff friendly, warm and welcoming. The only thing which I found a shame was there is no area if you arrive early to freshen up and get ready. However we were given a key for the toilet to change in and a place to leave our bags securely. Our room was a good size. Always cleaned to a good standard. Comfortable bed. Powerful shower. Also was nice to have a small fridge. Everywhere was very clean and a special mention to William the life guard who was cheerful and professional. Always assisting with beds and generally checking everything was ok. The bar staff were also kind and friendly. The food was quite nice. I had the tomato and mozerella salad with pesto which was lovely. The selection at breakfast was plentiful. Always fresh and items replenished. Several coffee machines to ensure you don’t need to queue. We used the spa facilities which were also clean and very nice. At checkout I couldn’t find my towel receipt for my deposit which I accept is my fault but was disappointed they also could not find a copy. I feel this could be improved. We had a visit daily from Mercedes and Julia always checking everything in the hotel asking guests for feedback, noting things down and taking a keen interest for the guests experience. I haven’t really experienced this before and think it should be highly commended. They take great care and pride with this hotel. Also the location is excellent! I have already recommended it to several friends and we would stay again ! Thank you.
