Hotel Hermann

5 stars for the budget traveler: Comfy bed, nice shower, big fluffy towel like in an upscale hotel, friendly desk clerk, EXCELLENT parking, superb location. You don’t need more and under $30 usd.

Never .. ever going back to this place.||The hotel was empty.. only two other rooms were booked along with ours.. we were the first ones to arrive and got the absolutely worst room in the place. ||I traveled with my husband and daughter. They gave us a very small room. One bed only and we couldn't even walk in the room. Barely enough space .. ||We questioned this on the next morning because they open up the rooms to air, we saw that every other double bed rooms were better than ours.||They said that we paid for that one, we has to pay extra for the better rooms. ||Except that we booked on booking.com and the photos and description said that we were booking a room with a double bed and a single bed.||On top of that our room was on the third floor.. no elevators.. I even reasoned that I have a bad knee.. but they said they couldn't do anything about it.||The breakfast was awful.. and the hotel smelled bad.||Very rude people.. hate it.. only stayed because we had already paid for it.. ||

Even though the hotel was empty. They put us in the worst possible room. I could see the others.. they were better. But they refused to move us. We were 3 persons. Me, my husband and my daughter. They refused to give us a third towel. We had to buy one at a store. The room had no phone.. every other room had one, We were with a child and they still set us up in the third floor.. no elevator.. plenty of rooms available on the first floor. Is clean. . And the breakfast is ok. But I'll never come back to this hotel.

The smallest and least equipt of our trip. It is an old but quaint building. The breakfast is good. The location is good but the driveway is small and parking is small.

I went to Hermann hotel in the octoberfest festival. We were looking for a reasonable good/cheap hotel just to sleep at. Hotel Hermann was a good option, good price comparison with other hotel in the same date. Is kind of old but all the hotels in Blumenau are the same old. Not very fancy, just the basic to stay for a few days. Breakfast is really good, I will definitely recommend it for Octoberfest time.

One night was enough to see the old fashion building, mold smell and not pretty bathroom. Breakfast was just ok but the restaurant was agian old, dark and not completely clean :(

Positive: Not far from city center, friendly staff, parking space available.

Its very good, in all ways, and ot was the cheapest place where i found.
