Hôtel Hermès Vieux Port

The location is amazing! Bed is comfy and roof top bar is amazing! ||However the staff weren’t that great, I am 6 months pregnant and I had put on booking.com to check in early and the lady simply said she would only let an old person check in at 2 if they really had to, no one else would be an exception, I have been travelling for 10 hours and was no able to check in at 12 or even at 1, only 3. |The shower was awful, leaked everywhere, the shower head is stuck to the wall so it doesn’t move and it doesn’t point the right way no matter which way u turn it. |The towels had holes in and were bleach stained.

The staff were great. Do not expect any earlier check in than 3... No matter the room they all become ready at 3. It's close to the M1 which is two stops away from the bus to the airport. Some places are very sketchy at night near the hotel so be mindful of what direction you are walking. The shower requires some acrobatic movements for people of any size not to flood the room. The room I was in was dusty and made my nose burn the whole time I was in marseille. The rooftop is amazing to have a glass of wine, cigar, or just to relax and enjoy the view.

It is a great place to stay in Marseille. It is at the center of everything, in front of the port and just next to le panier. I loved this place. The staff ins amazing and helpful and the views from the terrace just takes your breath away (picture attached from there) Totally recommend!!

Great location, friendly personal and clean price/performance rooms. I say "perfect" if it required to explain it with just one word. They gifted us a breakfast due to that we were "honeymoon couple". At nights, there was drink service in the rooftop with nice music and we just enjoy the sea view. Strongly offer this hotel.

Excellent location, the view from the rooftop bar is amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and rooms were clean with modern furniture. You also get a view of the port from your room which is great. The only thing we missed was Wi-Fi but it was not an issue.

Good: location, friendly staff, clean rooms, nearly all the facilities expected for a 2 star hotel, good check out time. Bad: no iron in rooms, leaving luggage in an insecure space. Things that would be nice-to-have, but I’m not counting as negatives as they would be outside remit of 2 star hotel: the ‘air-con’ is more of a fan than proper ac. Also, I would have preferred it if there was a more secure space/process for storing luggage outside check in/out times. Chargers could be nearer to bed. All in all, the hotel was excellent. Main thing is the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. We would happily stay again.

Great location, room was small but we knew that from previous reviews, small bit disappointed no view of port,but the roof made up for that, metro very close aswell,plus the hop on off tour bus, would recommend staying in this hotel, staff very friendly

pretty good. but the air conditioner doesn't work very good, so it can get hot in the summer. The Terrasse is very cool to get a beautiful view of the Vieux Port. the Portuguese Receptionist (Monica I think) is pretty nice! She gave info about the city and let us leave the baggage there after the checkout in case we wanted to.
