Great space, nice bungalows. Access to beach for sunset and the restaurant, Sunset, available at specific times with good food and alcohol available. You can snorkel at beach too. Office staff kind and accommodating. Would go back if able 😎

I have traveled extensively throughout the islands of French Polynesia and the Hotel Hibiscus is a treasure. The garden and lagoon view bungalows are absolutely adorable and many of them are newly refurbished with lovely island style decor. Each bungalow has a nice sized island style lanai, fantastic mini kitchen amenities and a lovely bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are lovely. The bungalows also have a mini safe for passports, wallets, etc. The decor of wooden furniture in the bungalows is unique and special. Many of the garden bungalows offer AC as well. The swimming pool is in a beautiful setting with very nice styled lounge furniture and has gorgeous trees surrounding it for shade ….fabulous! The lagoon on in front of the hotel is breathtaking and has some of the most gorgeous sunsets on the island. The restaurant on the hotel property, which was recently remodeled, has an extensive menu which features the freshest fish, meats and produce. The menu is very extensive and the culinary selections are perfect to meet everyone’s (including children’s) taste. The restaurant has a wood burning pizza oven and I could seriously eat their pizza for every meal, its that good! Every meal I ate was very very good. The staff at the front desk as well as in the restaurant are very professional, kind, friendly and accommodating!

We stayed 9 nights in Bungalow 12 as a couple. ||We enjoyed the location of the bungalow as it had a sea view and it was modern, one of the refurbished ones, with air/con. It's comfortable, although there's not much storage and it would be greatly improved if there were some hooks in the bathroom. The real benefit is the small kitchenette with the fridge, so we actually went to the supermarket and had a well-stocked cupboard/fridge to have our own breakfast everyday on our terrace.||The Reception area is small and a little bit run-down, the staff are very helpful and attentive. Note, there's no concierge service, it's DIY and the reception work hours are during the day only and start after most of the trips pick up. Basically, there's no help, if your tour doesn't arrive or you need help outside of regular hours.||There's a dichotomy with this hotel as it's listed as a 2Star, but in many ways the quality of the bungalow, the setting, location on the lagoon is much higher than that. Then you visit the pool, the tired/dirty sun beds, and the fact that there's no shade anywhere and you realise it's 2Star for the overall offering. You get what you pay for.||In our case, as we were staying for a while, we rented a car, bought our own parasol umbrella, sun bed (yes, we went to a gardening store) and made the best of it.||The Sunset Restaurant is a real bonus, the staff are very attentive and hard-working. The quality of the food was good, and the cocktails were a real treat. Much better than the bigger hotels that are 4/5Star.||Sunset: Each evening wonderful!||The hotel grounds (other than the pool) were immaculate and the cleaners have a fantastic work ethic, our room/bathroom was spotlessly cleaned everyday. Thank you Vanna and her aunty.||I think one of the main plus points, in our view, was that the bungalows are well-spaced out and you don't feel 'on top of each other'. ||Our holiday was a wonderful relaxing break, and we would love to return again one day!|

Great coffee. The best enticing sweet cakes anywhere on Moorea, cant be beaten anywhere here. The location is superb, looking out over the lagoon.

Stayed here in June. Quiet, breezy, very accommodating staff. One mistake we made was to not rent a car or pre-book a ferry station or airport transfer. Cabs are on the pricy side because of the long drive. I would have rented a car in retrospect, or pre-arranged a transfer. Very close to beach and several restaurants and activities. Next time I would also request a room with a TV, but that's just me.

Good and polite stuff and manager. Rooms are ok. Bathroom in the average priced room don’t smell well which affects the room’s smell.||If you come around New Years $350 for a room is not justified. No character, no facilities or bed chairs to enjoy beach front.||They have a great location but they made no effort to make it nice or let people enjoy it.||Pool is tiny… and worn out||It’s worth $75 not $350.||If you have another choice I would no go to hibiscus … if you don’t, then make sure you have a car to go to other places since Hibiscus made no effort to make the beach front possible to enjoy.||Our AC did not work, next day they changed our room and upgraded us which was nice but they said ‘ its your fault, because you Americans are used to AC’ |That when our room was frying in the 90’ heat all day and they had bo screens on windows and their fan was useless…||Our choice was either to open windows and get eaten by mosquitos or get boiled… ||Restaurant dinner food is mediocre.||Italian next door is good as long as you make a reservation, otherwise they are arrogant if you don’t….
