Hotel Holmar

I was looking for a good place (quiet, clean and not so expensive) to stay while visiting Holbox. This was the best option. It has a little swimming pool, free Wi-Fi on the lobby (Which is rare nowadays cuz almost all the other hotels charge for the internet) The owner is always there to help you and the best part, the rooms in the third floor have a terrific view! ||I hope to comeback soon. Great little hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. Clean and functional. Nice pool area for those days when you don't feel like the beach (which is half a block away).

It is an average hotel to stay for one or two days. Pros:No mosquitoes and it is near to beach. Cons:Loud music from next restaurant makes it impossible to sleep. One night I was not able to sleep until 4 am due to the sound.

We called the hotel four days prior to visit to see if we could reserve a room and spoke with Jose the owner. I wanted to reserve one room for Thursday January 5 to January 6. He told me he had room and would hold a room for me. I offered to give him a credit card number for a deposit on the room he said it was not possible because his machine was not working. I offered to transfer money into his account to guarantee the room and he told me it would not be necessary that he would hold the room for us. I took him at his word. ||||You guessed it upon arrival on Thursday there was no room reserved in my name. When I asked him what happened he said that we were never reserved he just put us on standby and our room was never guaranteed since we never but down a deposit. When I tried explaining to him that he told me that my room was reserved and not to worry he told me he never said that and basically walked away from me not caring that we were now in Holbox with no room for my family. ||||If you are going to Holbox avoid this Hotel at all costs you will be disappointed and badly treated.

We stayed here (1st floor) for 2 nights.||Cost 1000MEX per night||Room had good AC, a fridge and a TV.||Swimming pool is small but is nice.||Staff were friendly.||Location is good - just 50m away from the tourist pier, 150m from the main square

Great family place and comfortably

Hay agua caliente en la regadera, el cuarto está limpio y cómodo. La alberca estaba fría, sugiero templar el agua para que la disfruten los niños. La televisión no funciona, sugiero que las actualicen. El internen funciona muy bien. Excente ubicación, muy cerca de la playa y céntrico. En la noche había música de un bar cercano y se escuchó hasta la madrugada. Sugiero que apaguen las luces del pasillo de la planta alta en la noche para poder dormir mejor.

Es un hotel de 3 estrellas, ubicado a unos pasos de la playa y en el centro. Limpio y con habitaciones sencillas pero cómodas. El agua sale perfecto y si sale caliente. La noche cuesta entre $1800-$2000 No tuve Internet por problemas técnicos Alberca pequeña pero hay alberca Si quieres dormir tranquila no pidas habitaciones frente a la alberca porque a un lado hay un bar. Sí volvería
