Hotel Holy Himalaya

I had a very small room which was well situated in Thamel. It is convenient but not all rooms are the same size. I could barely move my suitcases and felt quite cramped with my gear. Awesome staff and kitchen though and so much around you the location really is premium.

Our agent booked this hotel for us and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is situated in a vibrant location, close to shops and restaurants, however it is very peaceful inside. We did not have to face any noise or disturbance. The staff of the hotel are amazing! They are very attentionate and work very hard to maintain cleanliness and cater to our needs. The breakfast has good choice or vegetarian menu, both local and continental. The hospitality is top notch and I would recommend it to everyone. The rooms are spacious and comfortable as well.

Wonderful hotel, perfect location, friendly staff. Breakfasts are decent. They serve good coffee. Maybe the choice of food wasn’t great, but in general it was very satisfying.|Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The people at reception were really helpful.

Holy Himalayan is one of the best hotels in Kathmandu! The breakfast is amazing, the hospitality is warm, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kathmandu.

The staff are warm and friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city with easy reach of several worthwhile day trips such as:||1. Garden of Dreams: 10 mins walk from the hotel|2. Swyambhunath Temple aka Monkey Temple: 45 mins walk from the hotel|3. Kathmandu Durbar Square: One of the UNESCO heritage site where you will see palaces - 20 mins walk from the hotel.

I just couldn't stand the moth ball smell. I even put them in a zip lock bag and opened the window but it was so strong. I had to rehash everything after leaving as my bags and everything smelled strongly. The food and tea service was lovely though and service was pleasant.
