Absolutely incredible! The hospitality of the staff was superior. The rooms functional, clean, and cozy. The location was amazing. I reached out to the hotel prior to our arrival and they made every effort to make sure our room was available immediately upon our arrival. Adam, bartender, such a great gentleman and thoroughly enjoyed his company. Strongly recommend Horto Convento!

Great hotel and perfect location to be away from the hustle and bustle across the river, yet still within walking distance. The staff were outstanding, helpful, personable, gracious... I could go on and on. Breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to each day. The staff recommendation for Trattoria dell'Orto was spot on. It's so good we ate there two nights in a row. The hotel bar is small but well equipped to handle any request, from espressos to ports and all things in between. My wife and I are already planning our next trip and we will definitely include a stay here.

A sanctuary inside the beautiful city of Florence. The room was perfect, comfortable bed and amazing housekeeping daily service. Morning breakfast was also excellent. |The best thing about this hotel is the location, just outside the really touristy areas. It is quiet and peaceful throughout the day and definitely overnight. There are a number of excellent restaurants a short walk from this hotel. Highly recommend.

This is our favorite hotel! We have stayed here before and are always pleased.||The staff is amazing! We especially enjoyed visiting with Adam the bartender. ||Our room was comfy. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of choices. I particularly enjoyed eating veggies in the morning.||The best thing about this hotel is how quiet it is. It is way away from the crowded tourist areas of Florence yet it is a walkable distance to the center. It is so quiet! The restaurants in the neighborhood are wonderful and not touristy.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Beautiful setting not far from the centre of Florence yet set in a beautiful area of San Frediano. The hotel is in a quiet setting, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel offers a great breakfast and what makes this hotel really special are the staff! Special shout out to Ben who is really welcoming and makes everyone welcome. Highly recommend and will definitely return. If you fancy a nice dinner not far from the hotel there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Come out of the hotel and turn left then right cross the road and there is a great gastro pub along with a few great traditional restaurants.

My husband and I loved our stay here! The property is so beautiful and peaceful, situated just a quick walk from any main attractions. The rooms were super clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed having the courtyard space to chill after a busy day. I would highly recommend staying here to any friends or family who visit Florence!

This was wonderful. And a nice elevator. Two floors. 31 rooms in total here in Florence. Cabs easy to get. Walking distance to places. Great restaurants close by. Staff super. Breakfast hot and cold. Extremely good variety and area. Bar area to lounge in evenings. The bartender -Adam- exceptional. Like to visit the Tuscany area next time.

There is no insulation at all, you can hear what other rooms are talking about. The room is cold and there is no ventilation. The location is far from everything, we ordered a taxi through the hotel, when we got on the taxi it was already €9, we went to Villa C it cost €33!!! The only thing that is good is the service, Giovanni at the reception is very good for complete information that a tourist needs!
