A great hotel with good parking just off the motorway. The village is quaint and very old. There are numerous walking trails around and heigh mountains around. Great value but breakfast was basic and queue for coffee at single machine was not up to the 4* standard. But will stay again as it was excellent value

Beautiful old renovated convent. Full of atmosphere relating to the past use. The breakfast was as good as we have had in Spain, plenty of choice and good quality. The room we had had very poor sound insulation but the room itself was very spacious and clean. Wi-Fi was good. Would stay again but would ask for a quiet room.

We recently stayed at the hospederia and enjoyed our stay a lot. Service very good and attentive. Central location in the village (Hervás, a very quaint and charming village in Extremadura with a lovely Jewish quarter, worth visiting). Comfortable beds and pillows. Very quiet area and very clean given the current circumstances this year. Reasonably good breakfast and nice, friendly staff. I recommend staying here and visiting a nice little town in Extremadura.

Located on outskirts of village but just a 5 minute walk into town. Secure parking at rear. 2 EV chargers on site. Comfortable rooms. Dog Friendly. Several restaurants in town plus coffee shops.

The room was located on the ground floor and was spacious, clean and had all amenities one could ask for. Very comfortable! The restaurant provided a great selection and quality both in the a la carte and the menu options. Specifically the menu is definitively a great value for money!

This is a regular stopover for us when travelling to and from Southern Spain. |We like to stay in unique characterful hotels and Hospederia Valle del Ambroz does all that, and the good news for us is that it’s dog friendly too.|Beautiful renovated old convent building located on the edge of the historic centre of Hervás. |Great value bed and breakfast, and only a few improvements to the decor, which is slightly dated, would turn it into a fantastic hotel. ||Transport yourself back through time ..... listen to the chiming of the local church bells (I don’t think they chime during the night), wander the narrow streets of the town centre and Jewish quarter, or take in the views from the church in the upper part of town .....|Beautiful countryside and plenty opportunities for walking too. The disused railway line behind the hotel has recently been converted to a long distance footpath, good for an early morning doggie walk .

This four star hotel is located in what was once a monastery. The old Jewish quarter is just a few steps away. Parking is safe right in front of the main entrance. The rooms are of high standard. As always in these hospederias both the workers at reception and in the restaurant were polite and friendly. If you opt for half board the lunch or dinner is almost gourmet and the price at fifteen euros is a steal.
