Oustanding, just outstanding. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hospes Amerigo in Alicante. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—staff were warm, attentive, and eager to make my experience memorable. The hotel itself is stunning, blending modern luxury with historical charm. My room was spacious and elegantly designed. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and Alicante's lively old town. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was a treat, with delicious, locally inspired dishes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return!

A wonderful centrally placed hotel. The service was excellent, the rooms well laid out, clean and the bed very comfortable. The roof top pool is slightly dated but was pleasant nevertheless. i’ve stayed here twice within 2 months and it was superb on both occasions. Strongly recommended

From check-in to check out a truly 5 star experience. The staff are so helpful, nothing too much trouble. We ate our evening meal there on our first night with the added pleasure of watching a Flamenco Show. Pure magic and the meal was actually the best we had. Beautiful room, we upgraded and well worth it. Everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean. Everything is thought of, my electric toothbrush died on me and unlike any other hotels there was one available in the luxury bathroom amenities supplied. Would never stay in any other hotel in Alicante. The rooftop bar was fabulous, views of castle amazing and big shout for the perfect strawberry daiquiris. Breakfast is superb. All in all, one of the best hotel experiences encountered. Well done...the business model for the hotel has exceeded itself and the staff are a credit to it

Hospes Amérigo Sunday Jazz Brunch: A Mixed Experience My recent Sunday Jazz Brunch at the Hospes Amérigo Hotel was a tale of two halves, starting strong but ultimately fizzling out due to a significant issue with the main course. On the positive side, the starter and dessert buffets were excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The ambiance was also lovely, with a sophisticated setting and enjoyable live jazz music creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the main courses were a major letdown. My wife ordered the chicken, which arrived significantly undercooked. The meat was noticeably pink, a clear indication it wasn't properly cooked. Upon bringing this to the attention of our server, his initial response was disappointing. Instead of acknowledging the issue, he attempted to argue that the chicken was cooked correctly. It was only after I explained that cooked chicken should be white throughout, not pink, that he conceded. The proposed solution was simply to reheat the same piece of chicken. This was unacceptable, as my wife had understandably lost her appetite by this point. Disappointingly, after this exchange, no one from the staff followed up to apologize or offer any sort of remedy. The lack of communication and follow-up was striking. The poor experience was further compounded when I raised the issue again while paying the bill. I explained the situation to another staff member, hoping for some form of compensation or at least an acknowledgment of the problem. However, no solution or discount was offered for the spoiled meal. Overall, the Hospes Amérigo Sunday Jazz Brunch has potential. The starter and dessert buffets, along with the ambiance and music, were definite highlights. However, the undercooked chicken, the inadequate response from the staff, and the complete lack of any resolution regarding the issue significantly marred our experience. Until the kitchen's consistency and the staff's customer service in handling complaints improve, I would hesitate to recommend this brunch.

We have just returned from this awesome hotel. A lovely Professional welcome upon arrival, lovely scented reception area and a welcome cava. Are luggage was whisked away to our rooms before we were. The rooms are stunning with a little juliet balcony. Our only issue was with the bath/Shower, which has an extremely steep and difficult ledge into the shower, think it would have been easier without a bath ( just a wet room ) . The staff are always helpful friendly and eager to please. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice to suit all tastes. My new favourite hotel and will definitely be returning to this awesome centrally located Gem

We had a fantastic three nights in Alicante, ideally situated in the old town next to the marina, with easy access to everything we wanted. The hotel is beautiful and the staff even more so - everyone we interacted with was helpful and friendly. They were very good at recommending restaurants in the surrounding area; all of which were brilliant; and even arranged the booking. Cava on arrival was a nice touch.|The room is a great size with a comfy bed and tv with a good selection of English speaking channels in case it rains. I wish we’d taken the umbrella from the wardrobe with us during our trip! |There was a Juliette balcony out onto a back lane, which was bustling during the day. We had a sliding door separating the toilet and dressing area from the sleeping area, which was ideal for privacy while travelling with friend. The only slight negative was the toilet also had a sliding frosted glass door, which didn’t close fully to the wall. Not so great for privacy! Easily worked around though. |I’d definitely visit again if in Alicante!

Nice hotel! We would stay there again. Large room, comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean. Front desk staff very professional and helpful. Great location, from there you can walk all around Alicante. Parking garage below hotel. Nice large lobby. Breakfast was great too! No complaints.

Fantastic location and very nice service. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was tasty and abundant. I loved the scent that the hotel smelled of and bought a bottle to bring back home. In terms of suggested improvements, it would be great if there was complimentary water in the rooms (there was coffee, but anything else was only available from the mini bar ) and a mini fridge. Also, my AC could not be adjusted and the temperature set was a bit too cold for me during the night (it felt good during the day). I got a room with a "inside" window, so I basically only saw the building from the window, so no natural light at tall coming in, but that's fine, at least it was quiet during the night as I did not hear any noises from the street. I enjoyed the welcome drink! In general, a good experience.
