Two stars is being generous!
I am genuinely shocked that this hotel is rated 5 stars. The service was appalling from start to finish, and I’m honestly convinced many of the positive reviews are not genuine.
At check-in, we weren’t even greeted. The receptionist showed zero interest in welcoming us and was far more focused on trying to sell us breakfast than providing basic hospitality. Throughout our stay, every time we walked into the hotel, not a single staff member acknowledged us no greeting, no smile, nothing. It constantly felt like they were doing us a favour by allowing us to stay there.
The departure experience was the final insult. We were made to wait for our car keys while the staff member casually chatted with a colleague. Our luggage was then left on a trolley without any offer of help loading the car. No “have a nice trip,” no goodbye just rudeness!
For a hotel that claims to be 5 star, this level of service is completely unacceptable. Disgraceful and disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting even basic courtesy, let alone luxury service.
