Hotel Hotel Goliath Am Dom Regensburg

This is a wonderfully magic boutique hotel in an incredible location. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The only reason I didn’t rate the room 5 stars is because it was a bit dated and felt pretty sterile in design. I would absolutely stay here again though. The lobby is truly beautiful and well decorated. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed my stay thoroughly.

Just enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Goliath am Dom. Located an easy 15 minute walk from the train stage and in a great location to visit all the major sites in Regensburg. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and there are several excellent restaurants for dinner nearby. The spa was much enjoyed after a long day of sightseeing.

We stayed at the Goliath Hotel in Regensburg for two nights this August, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations, especially for a hotel that markets itself as five-star. The most noticeable shortcomings were evident at breakfast. Despite calling ahead to request gluten-free bread for my husband, who has an allergy, we were informed on the first morning that they had run out. This was incredibly disappointing and, frankly, a first in our many years of traveling. Additionally, we were never provided with any breakfast menus, which added to the overall sense of disorganization.||The hotel’s decor also leaves much to be desired. While not entirely unpleasant, the rooms felt outdated, lacking the modern touch you'd expect from a high-end establishment. The overall ambiance did not match the luxury suggested by the hotel's rating.||In retrospect, the price we paid should have been a warning that this is not a true five-star hotel. At best, it aligns more with a three-star experience. If you're looking for genuine luxury in Regensburg, I would recommend exploring other options.

This hotel not a 5 star . But for the 5 star you have to pay a different price . So you pay for what you get . Overall hotel is good . Location is good . Personal are good . Breakfast is good but not much variety. The only thing : mattress must be replaced!!!! It’s not firm !!!!! Mattress it’s everything for the hotel !!!!!

mid hotel in a great country, great city with an amazing culture. should go to the Museums café or the weichmanns instead. but amazing waiters at the café restaurant so thats nice. more over there are personnalities coming here. expensive too

Beautifully situated hotel in the center of town near the river and all shopping/restaurants. Staff was all incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to check in early without hesitation. Room was clean, modern, and well equipped. Breakfast offered a typical European breakfast spread. All high quality items. Decor is unique and sophisticated. Great views of the city from the 4th floor! Would recommend and return! Service is impeccable.

I was only in the restaurant to drink a coffee with a friend. No waitress after several minutes! They were all standing at the counter talking-I was able to see them from my seat, so they were able to see me as well! I finally went over and ordered my drink! The waitress brought my espresso without a tray, without a little glass of water, and not cleaning the table completely taking the dirty glasses with her!! The hotel itself is very nice, the service definitely needs to improve, since this is not the first time I have experienced the above! Will try again!

This is a great place to have coffee. Beautiful foyer, great staff, relaxed and elegant.
