Avoid this place at all costs.
Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 families—including a baby and a toddler—for the busy Christmas Market season, and we received a confirmation email for our booking. This should have guaranteed our rooms, as confirmation normally means payment was processed.
However, upon arrival, we were told our reservation was canceled because the hotel claimed our credit card was declined. If this was the case, how did we receive a confirmation email? No one from the hotel contacted us to confirm or assist with payment—surprising, since the reservation was for 2 rooms with young children.
To make matters worse, the lady at reception was very unhelpful. The only rooms offered were at a dramatically higher rate (blatant attempt at price gouging desperate families) and were so small that a baby bed couldn’t even fit. The lack of flexibility or empathy, especially for families with small children during peak season, was shocking and they clearly don’t care if they leave families stranded, even with infants in winter. Disgraceful.
