Hotel Hottingen

Nice hotel conveniently located for accessing sights,etc, and situated in a quiet area. On arrival staff were friendly and helpful. Room was relatively basic but had everything we needed. It was also very clean,quiet and comfortable. We had a lovely tome here and it was a good base for us.

Excellent breakfast with a variety of hot and cold items to choose from. The rooms are very clean and spacious. I would have preferred a softer bed, but I was able to sleep very well. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to trams and the Kunsthaus. We used the communal kitchen and bought pastries from the local bakery for breakfast. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. Would stay here again.

This hotel was nothing exceptional but it fit the bill, and my budget. Considering the prices of most hotels in Zurich I really can't complain, the rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. My only comment is that our bathroom didn't have a proper door that provided no noise isolation. The grey sheet in the back right of my photo indicates the sliding door that isn't very good. The bathroom was also on the small side, but still sufficient. I would stay here again, just in a room that has a proper bathroom door

This is an incredibly well run hotel. For the price, it had everything we needed and more. The location is great, the staff are very accommodating, and the facilities are well maintained. If you are looking for a no-muss no-fuss accommodation in Zürich, this is a place to stay.

Close to the tram line. Walkable to some of the historic sites of the city. Check in was easy. Air conditioner - pull back the curtains and use the remote. Tricky, but glad the room had it. It was rather warm and stuffy the day we stayed!

Very nice hotel in a residential neighborhood! We had a bathroom en suite, and the breakfast was very good, although expensive with our type of room reservation. It was convenient to walk to the old section of town, and to get to the airport riding the trains.

Nice and modern hotel in a great location. Comfortable and spacious rooms, however the air conditioner worked poorly and is blocked by the curtains, as it is positioned directly above the window.

Great hotel! Basic room however was very clean and just enough. The staff were lovely. Allowed us to bring our bags early and they had a bag storage. They even had a bin of umbrellas and allowed us to borrow some in the rain. Very close to the train and town, 10 minute walk.

What a terrific hotel just slightly outside the city center. I should start by saying many hotels in city center will NOT keep your bags after checkout. This lovely little place does. Service is friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and the room (by European standards, especially Italy) was practically palatial. Our twin beds (a bit cheaper than a queen) were comfortable, the bathroom was small but had amazing water pressure and our room even had a tiny table and chairs in a dining nook! There is a small kitchen for use by all ( clean up after yourself please) in case you feel inspired. Just a 5 minute tram ride from Zurich HB,it's a true gem
