We had only one night here before an early flight but what a fabulous 12 hours! The hotel and grounds are beautifully kept. The pool area is wonderful. The food is excellent. The rooms, actually mini bungalows, are super clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Lovely hotel, great location. Lovely breakfast and very nice staff. Situated inside a small palm grove, so the place is beautiful and peaceful. But still only 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre. A very good hotel indeed. The biggest and nicest surprise was, that my room was not a "normal" room, but a bungalow. Next to some important sights, notably the Hort del Cura and Palmeral museum

Nice hotel. There was no water when we arrived but that was apparently the town halls decision, it came back on after a couple of hours. We had lunch and dinner which was all tasty. One of the male older waiters needs a new job not customer facing as he is so miserable and walks around with too much attitude. The rest of the staff were very nice and helpful. We had a suite which was nice, Bed was noisy and there is no sound proofing whatsoever so can hear people talking at night. Typical of Spain. We had a lot of ants when we got back from the pool but got a spray from the cleaner, it's clearly an issue because of where the rooms are. It is very pretty and breakfast was worth the extra, hope they feed the cats as they looked hungry. Pool was smaller than I expected but we're times we were the only people in there so timed it well. We would go back but not in tourist season as were a lot of Brits around, would be better after September.

We stayed at Hotel Huerto del Cura for one night before our vacation and another night after — but we loved it so much, we ended up extending for an extra night! This hotel is absolutely amazing. The setting is stunning — so peaceful, lush, and beautifully maintained. It really feels like a hidden oasis. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable, and the staff were truly fantastic — so friendly, helpful, and accommodating with our requests. The buffet breakfast was also a highlight — so many fresh and delicious options to choose from. We felt completely relaxed and taken care of during our entire stay. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and beautiful place to unwind.

Our room was anything but 4 star. Tucked right at the back of the grounds, the air conditioning didn't work properly, 3 light bulbs were not working, toilet roll holder broken and the whole room needed a lick of paint with scuff marks and chipped paint all over. The mattress were very hard. Not a comfortable night and certainly not worth what we paid. The images of the hotel in Google were very deceiving. Our room clearly hadn't been updated for some time. Fortunately we were only staying 1 night.

Loved it here! Room clean and not too fancy. Like a posh Butlins but no kettle, bring your own. Gardens and pool glorious, staff kind

For several years we have made a point of stopping at this hotel on our semi annual trip to - and back from - Andalucia. We love the place, its beautiful palm garden, the restaurant terrace where we listen to the cicades in the warm night; all of it ... But our last visit turned out to be a disappointment: After a drink in the bar, where we were attended by a very friendly and humorous young waiter, we the entered the restaurant and were met by a head waiter who took a very long time finishing his paper work before he bothered to look up and notice our presence. Then he asked in a rater gruff manner if we had made a reservation - then reluctantly guided us to a table. In his defence, we want to point our that they gave us a menu after only a few minutes, but that turned out to be the last shred of service that evening. We waited for close to half an hour until anybody took our order. (O.K. another point in their defence: The food was lovely, and we complimented them) - but we waited for more than twenty miniutes to get the bill; we tried in vain to catch the attention of one or the other waiter. Finally we gave up - and left (!) ... Well, that worked - they actually noticed us (!) ... We settled our bill in a rather neutral manner - and left no tip. ... We are really saddened by his experience; we hate the idea of falling out of love with one of our favourite places in Spain, but we are afraid that tings will never be the same again ...

This really was a lovely spoil felt like in a tropical oasis|Pool was clean and warm , we had a junior suite and couldn’t fault the room except for ants but housekeeping were quick to attend and spray and clean up , huge bed and comfy pillows and all the toiletries you need , mini bar and great shower and huge bath in the centre of the room |We ate in the restaurant all three nights , restaurant manager very attentive and sorted us with vegie options every night although none on the menu , food was very good sat out overlooking the pool lights in the evening |The bar area was understaffed and took a while to get drinks but the staff really try their best , the lady that served drinks and food in the bar deserves a well done she was so busy and always had a smile |We had a massage which I recommend very relaxing and professional |We had the zen room for hot tub but that seriously needs some work as tiles were broken in the hot tub and could easily cut yourself on them |You can collect towels from reception for the pool and we stayed in the pool most evenings until it closed at 8pm |Overall I would recommend for a spoil stay over we didn’t rate Elche but relaxing at the hotel was perfect , we will certainly return |Big thank you to restaurant manager , the bar man in the day and the lady serving in the bar area and the female receptionist that checked us in was great too , big thank you to the chefs also |Thank you

Yelp
Great hotel. They manage to stay up to date and to offer very high quality despite the fact that it exists for several decades already. We enjoyed the interior design and comfortable facilities of this high quality place. Very well managed and a little paradise for those seeking to spend a night in the area. Good value for money. Impressive.
