Dazzling hotel, flawless stay. The staff was extraordinary and accommodating, fit every one of our needs: we mentioned a calm room dull around evening time with a shower and got precisely what we needed. We were offered a free early looking at in and free late check, we had a free small scale bar in the room which we valued a great deal. The room was perfect. We appreciated the sauna. Stunning and awesome stay, we suggest this hotel with our entire existence !!

We were a party of 4 adults, visiting Berlin for the first time. We chose the hotel for its location and for the very good reviews it had received. We were not disappointed. The hotel staff were welcoming and professional. Our rooms were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were well appointed. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had. Location was excellent, with the Underground just a few metres away, and a number of good restaurants within a short walk. I have a couple of negative comments:There was no heated towel rail in the bathroom, so my towels stayed wet - not very pleasant after a long day, and it would be good to have a bedside light switch that could be reached without having to almost stand up in the bed to switch off the light. That said, I will recommend this hotel to friends and hope to return myself in the future.

Wonderful hotel experience. Check in/out was very easy, with friendly professional staff. Room was very nice, clean and had all the necessary extras. Really loved the complimentary beverages in the mini-fridge and the Tassimo machine in room. Staff were very knowledgeable to help navigate to destinations around Berlin. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderfully clean and friendly hotel in a good location. We especially appreciated the ability to rent bicycles from the hotel for several days, which made our visit to Berlin much more convenient and enjoyable. Drinks in the mini-fridge are complimentary -- classy touch. The chocolates left in the room are excellent! Nice lounge area, bar/restaurant, and patio on the main floor. Only complaint is that while the bathroom is very sleek and modern and beautiful, there are no towel racks and no place to hang things to dry except for two lonely pegs on the wall.

Highly recommend staying here, we booked a garden room which was very quiet, large clean rooms, great bathroom with mirror & pouffee near to hairdryer too. Coffee maker, free mini bar of soft drinks. Plenty of choice for breakfast, friendly staff & near transport links for ease of getting anywhere. I would definitely stay here again. A slight niggle for me as with most Berlin hotels, the wardrobe/ hanging space is small & no drawers.

This is a great hotel, very comfortable with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. It's the little extras that make it, the drink on arrival, the free use of the mini bar, sweets to help yourself to, earplugs in the room. My room was comfortable and very clean. I opted for breakfast buffet which was plentiful and tasty. Location wise it's a short cycle into the centre of the city, less than 10 minutes, but also close to buses and trams so you can get to all the main sites very easily. The hotel hire bikes, electric cars and electric scooters to guests. The hotel is well situated for the Berlin Wall Memorial which is well worth visiting and brings that era of Berlin's history to life.

Loved it! The room is a little tight but well designed so you have enough space for everything. The staff was helpful and we really appreciated the free minibar, free electric scooters, and free iPhone (which was in our room so we could use during our stay, and included free international calls).

Your hotel was lovely. I was welcomed by seeing my name on the TV when I entered the room, and service was excellent. The room had everything needed, plus nice little touches such as several pieces of chocolate left each day. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The only problem I had was that I could not figure out how to work the electric teapot. The hotel was convenient for me, since it was near many sights in Berlin and also near the main train station.

My first time staying in a hotel in Berlin and had a great experience. The reception staff are super friendly and helpful and facilitated an early check in for me after I arrived early. I also got a "bid what you want" upgrade to a room on a high floor overlooking the street. The layout for the 2nd tier room is small but perfectly functional for a single traveler or couple, and I loved the thoughtful touches like a small chair in the bathroom, umbrella in the room with a holder, and hooks on the wall near the closet. The (nonalcoholic) drink minibar is free to take from and refilled daily which is another plus! And they had small chocolates that were refilled daily as well. I didn't partake in any breakfast or other food, but it did look good when I passed by. The garden area outside is nice to relax or work in. The hotel itself is on a quieter street but near many different modes of public transit - tram, bus, subway. The front desk warned me about needing coins for the tram / bus and was happy to exchange some bills into coins for me every morning as well. Not many taxis passing by but the front desk will call one for you very quickly if you ask. There are also bikes and scooters you can borrow. Overall I had a great stay and would have loved to stay longer! I had to move to another hotel for work, but wish I could have stayed at the i31.

Really central, modern hotel located about 3/4 of a mile to the central train station. - great free wifi - free mini bar consisting of German sodas, juice and water. - shower and water pressure was tops. - hip hotel vibe with a dj pumping tunes at the bar on Friday and Saturdays - free scooters! Limited quantity. - free haribo gummy bears at reception. Danke! Cons: - not the most sexy of neighborhoods, although so central and a ton of highly rated restaurants and cafes nearby. - street itself is quite ugly. - bed wasn't the comfiest unless you like really hard beds. Side note: the beds weren't awful, just super hard and I'm a plush kind of gal. - breakfast looked magnificent, but was quite pricy at 16 €. If you can find a deal and in Berlin for a short time, looking to be near the train station, this is a no brainer.

We had a wonderful stay at i31. The hotel is new and modern. The room has all the basic items plus some more. There are slipper, umbrella, and a travel buddy (iPhone) that we can use for our stay. The free mini bar (water, juices, coke) and coffee/tea machine is refilled everyday. Internet speed is fast. The staff are friendly at the front desk. The location is very convenient, everything we need such as bank, supermarket, bakery, coffee shop, train, tram, and restaurant are within 5 minutes walk.

Great hotel in downtown Berlin! This place has thought of every detail to ensure your stay is perfect, including a smart phone to use at your pleasure for guidance around the city as well as phone calls if needed. Clean, very comfortable rooms, great showers with amazing water pressure (important if you're traveling) and friendly, attentive staff. Great job guys! You make our trip even more special!

Super nice boutique, located very close to Naturkudemuseum Metro station. Very friendly causal staff who provided a free drink on arrival. Nice bar, mini gym and sauna on site and also all the soft drinks in the mini bar are free.....Bonus, other hotels should take note. Would definitely stay here again. Price was reasonable too at around 60 gap per nite, not bad.

Great Location! Near a S train and U train. The breakfast is really good , as well The rooms are on the smaller size using American standard , but I felt it was fine for me The bed was on the firm side but still comfy Staff was really nice They don't have full restaurant in the hotel...just snacks Restaurants in the areas were three to four blocks away I would stay here again!

Hotel i31 had such amazing reviews on yelp and travel advisor that I decided to stay after agonizing over so many affordable choices. When I got to Berlin, a posted sheet warned that the air conditioning was broken until mid june (it IS mid-june) in the middle of a heat wave, and they offered free bottled water as compensation. The room was unbearably hot and I called down for a fan and asked about cancelling and refunding the next 6 days so I could go elsewhere (no, but offered me a smaller room on the garden side away from the afternoon sun). The worker bringing the fan opened the door to my room without waiting for a response and saw me with only underwear! After 4 days in the garden side room, the bed started compressing/sinking on one side and I had to sleep towards the middle or prop myself up. Every sleepless night had to be spent with the window open, 2 fans roaring and copious water breaks during lots of tossing and turning. It was exhausting. The staff WERE ultra friendly, especially Lazar who graciously took the brunt of my anger, even though he said "you Americans are always hot" or whatever. Breakfast had lots of choices, the rooms are clean and the shower is honestly amazing even though there is no shower door to close. I would never stay there again, as I never got a reprieve from the unbearable heat. What really burns me is that the hotel had the opportunity to "do the right thing" and alert us that the air conditioning was out, especially when they sent a pre-check in email and offer a discount for a very unpleasant stay. Sadly, a bottle of water or two doesn't come close.

This place was such a refreshing stop on our European honeymoon! They seriously thought of absolutely everything you could want in a hotel. From charging outlets conveniently located everywhere from the lobby to the room, the smartphone that you can take with you for international calls and data, the bed that was so beyond comfortable, the huge shower, the gratis scooter rentals, the posh surroundings, the incredibly helpful staff... I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Upon checkout my husband and I looked at each other and said, okay we both know that we will not be staying in a hotel even close to this for the rest of the trip, right? Ha! It was wonderful and if I ever he the opportunity to be in Berlin again this is where I will be staying.

We arrived at the hotel on Thursday, September 8 around 5 PM. The hotel is in a nice, clean, and quiet neighborhood. There is a Vietnamese and pub next door. But the area is quiet. The hotel is clean and modern. A little confusing where to check in as the receptionist area in integrated with the bar. Our room was on the third floor and at the end of the "L" shaped hallway. It was a nice large room with a TV, handicapped bathroom. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. A must stay.

We stayed here for a couple of days while touring Berlin. Very nice hotel and very modern look. Located very close to trains and lots of restaurants. Liked the free juice and soda in the mini bar. Staff was friendly and spoke very good english. Price was good.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel, it truly hits every mark. Spacious, clean, modern rooms with great design and very comfortable beds. Free mini bar restocked daily, free very fast very stable wifi, very generous amenities. Minutes away from a major subway stop, great location. Best of all is the front desk staff; we had an issue with mail not being delivered correctly by the fault of UPS and they went above and beyond to help us track it down. Staff is extremely helpful, friendly, prompt, and speak great English. We had an issue with outlets in our room not working and someone from the front desk came up in mere minutes to help. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND, would stay here again next time I'm in berlin.

Lovely hotel, perfect stay. The staff was great and helpful, suited all our needs: we requested a quiet room dark at night with a bath and got exactly what we wanted. We were offered a free early checking in and free late check out, we had a free mini bar in the room which we appreciated a lot. The room was immaculate. We enjoyed the sauna. Amazing overall stay, we recommend this hotel with all our heart !!
