Hotel Ibersol Antemare (Only Adults)

We’re regular visitors to Sitges and have stayed in various hotels and apartments, this is up there as one of the best ones we’ve been in. Why so, I hear you ask? It’s perfectly located for us, just a little way from the centre, and promenade, so we had a nice 10-15 minute stroll into the centre. ||The pool area is perfect, plenty of sun beds and other seating areas, some in the sun and some in the shade. ||The breakfast has plenty of choice, delicious and constantly refreshed, ||But what makes this hotel stand out is the team that keep it going. The reception staff are excellent, and work hard to make sure everything is perfect, the restaurant and kitchen staff don’t stop, keeping the area clean and tables ready for the next guests. The rooms are kept immaculately clean and tidy, by the nicest team, who are so helpful and obliging. ||All this at a great price, we were so happy with our stay, we’ll definitely be staying here in future.

overall positive: a chill very LGBT friendly hotel, 20min walk from town. we stayed for about 12 days.||the pool area has often all the beds taken but is otherwise nice and very chill, we loved it. the beds are not taken at 6am and there’s an additional sun bed area next to main pool area. so overall good chances of getting a spot if you come around breakfast or wait a while. ||staff is mostly friendly but occasionally can be a bit short or disinterested. in the bar many of them seem confused about what to do, what’s on the menu etc - as if it’s their first day every day. so getting a drink from the bar is exceedingly slow, perhaps just a chill culture but can be frustrating. ||breakfast buffet is ok, nothing to write home about but does the job. it’s identical every day though. the price if buying from the spot is 14-17 euros, which is too much IMO, but if included in room price it’s worth it. especially as no nearby options - it’s a residential area. breakfast is 8-10:30. the restaurant (la Pergola) has google review of 4.1 but not sure why, the food at dinner was so-so, i’d rate it 3. ||guests were on average maybe 50 years old, ranging from around 30 to 70. ||we booked a “twin or standard” room on an online booking site and were offered an upgrade room on arrival for 15e/night. i declined it but once we were taken to our room which was semi-underground, dark and smelled like cellar i went back to inquire about the upgrade room. i was shown 2 (pool view 25e & front of hotel view 20e) but for higher price per night. i asked about the 15e/night offer and the receptionist clearly got irritated but asked the manager then and we got the latter room for the offered price. next day our friends arrived and they were also given the same talk about upgrade and they just accepted it due to my advice. it felt a bit like the cellar room (while technically identical to others) is used as a way to charge extra - in the online photos the upgrade room is exactly what i was booking so felt cheeky to have to pay extra to get it. our friends also heard other guests checking in getting the upgrade talk. ||wifi internet was steady and good throughout. ||beds were pretty hard but comfy, huge pillows. we slept well but that’s partly due to earplugs. as another review warned, front on hotel side gets to hear a neighbours bird throughout the night, which is not great, but with earplugs manageable. with curtains the room is dim but not dark in the morning, might be hard for those who wake up to light.||there are 2 women’s toilets by the pool/restaurant and throughout our stay (9 days) the other one was “out of order” and the other one mostly out of paper. ||overall a very quiet, relaxing hotel. we extended our stay even from 7 days to 12.

Perfectly located hotel in Sitges! The hotel is okay! Great breakfast buffet. However,the rooms could be a little more cleaner, especially the bathroom! And the sound isolation is not great,I heard my neighbors several times… The receptionist was very nice! It would be a 3,75/5 for me.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was much better than I expected for the price point serving predominantly Catalan cuisine. ||The room were always clean and tidy and the surrounding garden areas are very well kept.||The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the beach.

Spent 5 nights here when visiting Sitges. Warm welcome on arrival. Room a little tired, skirtings scuffed and could do with a deeper clean, some paint pealing in bathroom but was light and spacious with our own little courtyard. Beds were clean and comfortable, we even had a sofa and good storage space. Water was always hot and shower was large and powerful. Lovely large pool, decent bar prices. Breakfast spread was good with lots of choice, one negative was that the hot food was never hot enough. Location is great, quiet residential area just a 2 minute walk to the beach. 20 minutes to town, 25 minutes to train station. A decent, good value hotel. Hope to return during the summer.

Breakfast was good but they could use a 3rd coffee machine. 1 broke down and we had 1 machine for 50 people. 10 minute line up. Stsff not overly thrilled to be working there so not very friendly. Builings connevted by weird maze with basement corridors and directions not very clear. Took us 10 minutes to fond our room. Not much dirrctiom given by front staff accept go that way. 1 review said heated but NOT so a little chilly in early august. 2 blocks from beach and to park 2 blocks away.

Update 2026 Still no repsonse from the hotel or the holiday provider booking.com. So avoid both! Such a shame..... Adult Only but not allowed to take a wine glass to your room. Why? Towels were smelly, rough and had holes in them. Why? If you require a towel for the pool....you have to pay €40 by card only. No cash allowed. Why? For our room....there are no elevators. So down a flight of stairs....then back up another set then finally a climb to the room. Not a single offer of help when you have been travelling all day. Why? Air conditioning....our room it didn't work properly and would not chill to anything other than 24°. When it's 33°+ outside ...I want to be able to chill !! I was told that I wasn't working it properly !! Why? The night shift man PULLED me out of a chair in the bar area and threatened to hit me. I was sat in the chair, the bar was closed and air con was working. I was just waiting for my partner to return so we could go to our room as he had the key. Why on earth would a staff member do that? It's all on camera so... Anyway.... don't except rooms that start with a 500. You will be disappointed. Holiday ruined and we would Never return there. Thank god we didn't try the food as based on other reviews it's pretty poor Andres was helpful and the young petite chap who checked us in.

I had the chance to stay at the hotel in September for 5 days. The hotel has a great boutique feel, staff are welcoming and cannot do enough for their guests. I had my 60th birthday there and the staff could not do enough to make my day extra special. All the staff and the Manager gave a 10 star service. A special “thanks” to Veronica who made my birthday so memorable

Great 4 star hotel one block away from the seafront. Walking time to the town centre is 10 minutes and to the train station 21 minutes. The rooms have undergone a recent refurbishment and look quite clean and fresh although some of the furniture looks a bit cheap and probably won't last long. The reception staff are very polite and efficient. My check in took no more than 2 minutes. Also got a voucher for a free bottle of Cava at the bar which was nice. Stayed on a bed & breakfast basis. The options at breakfast are mesmerising. Toast, pastries, breads, bacon, sausage, egg, smoothies, juices, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee,etcetera and a whole lot more. The pool area is one of the Antemare's main attractions. There are heaps of loungers and the hotel provides a beach towel which is good for those traveling with hand luggage only! A lovely hotel, much cheaper than some other 4 star hotels in Sitges but definitely just as good. I can't wait to go back!!

Place is ok. Front staff can't be bothered with Internet not working in the back of the hotel, rooms in 500s. Phone has a static sound which front desk seemed clueless. Sent the "technician" to look at it and Internet, talked fast and couldn't understand him. They seem unfazed by the lack of service they claim to have on websites. If I move upstairs or to the lobby area, Internet works great. Shouldn't have to go upstairs every time I need to send an email or work on my laptop. Bar staff seemed bothered by ordering drinks. Staff just doesn't really care and really doesn't listen before answering the question without truly understanding the question. The pool around the edges are green. Had three people in room and continually only left 2 towels in room. Had ants in room for five days while there, didn't call cause no one could hear on the phone.Breakfast eggs in morning were luke warm at best. Location to ocean is good, other than that is keep looking for a different place.
