I am just full of praise for this Hotel. Lovely staff. Rooms are well appointed & perfectly clean. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, so many little extras make the breakfast a feast. |The location is great, a few minutes walk from Metro & within easy walking distance of many locations. |I was lucky enough to have a balcony, with enough space for a chair & table. |So many great eating places within a few metres. |It is the attention to detail that made my stay so pleasant. |If you are lucky enough to book at this Hotel you will really enjoy your stay:

I loved this hotel. Everything is fantastic: room, breakfast, location and staff. Regarding the staff, I must leave a special note to Marco. He was great during our entire trip: (i) with us, providing the best recommendation of restaurants, things to do and places to visit; and (ii) with our kids, who were in love with his energy and kindness. Il Convento is lucky to have someone like him in the team. Thank you Marco, the other members of the staff and the management of Il Convento hotel for such an amazing experience. You all will be in my heart and memories forever! :-)

Great spot! Very walkable location. Delicious breakfast, clean & comfortable room, and surprisingly quiet for being in the busy Spanish Quarter! The staff are knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations and suggestions for how to make the most of our time in Naples. Thanks, all the best!

I truly enjoyed the experience of staying at this hotel. It was like stepping back in time. The building was built 200 years before America was founded, or before the King James was written! And yet it was still a well run hotel with clean comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, and all of the modern amenities that we expect from a hotel. It's also close to the cruise ship port, making it convenient for cruisers. The streets are unbelievably narrow, so I wouldn't want to drive my own car on them, but it was fun taking a taxi. I would definitely stay here again. Oh, the streets can get loud in the evenings, so the hotel kindly left earplugs in the room for sleeping. 😆😁

Everyone at Il Convento was welcoming, helpful and worked hard to make our stay wonderful. The room was a good size and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was very quiet despite being in the heart of the Spanish Quarter. We loved the location. ||And the breakfast buffet is great. There were plenty of delicious options for everyone. Everything was so good. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was well located within easy walking distance to every venue that we wanted to visit. Although the Spanish quarter is chaotic it provided us with a unique opportunity to experience the excitement of this area. We loved it! The staff is extraordinary, providing the best advice and thoughtful answers to any of our questions. Coffee all day was a treat! We felt like we were in someone's home and hope to come back again.

This was a very nice hotel in the heart of the Spanish Quarter. Great location and close to everything. Great staff and very clean room. We had a large terrace attached to our room that was great to have your morning coffee. They will bring your breakfast to your room if you want them to.

It was a bit of an adventure getting a cab from the Train Station since the driver didn't know how to get to the hotel and dropped us off a couple of blocks from the hotel and told us to walk the rest of the way... Getting to the hotel itself, its clearly not a Marriott or Hilton. This is a neighborhoods built in the 1600s, so the buildings and streets are old, tight, and rustic. The entire neighborhood is like that. Once you get used to the narrow stone streets, and wild car and moped traffic, its quite entertaining and fun. That said, and expectations in check, it was a wonderful stay in the heart of a vibrant part of Naples.|We had communicated with Marco through Booking.com who welcomed us to the hotel and provided us with information prior to our arrival. Check in with Marco was perfect and quick as we were tired from our day of travel. Our room was recently renovated as the widows kept most of the noise of the street to a whisper for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was renovated as well and had good hot water and pressure. Everything was very clean and in good working order. As we went in November, being able to keep the temperature at night at a comfortable level was great. Two other hotels we stayed at on this trip did not have heat available yet, and offered us blankets instead of heat.|There is so much to do in that area of Naples during the day and at night. There are so many great places to eat. We walked around for hours through the lively streets. Marco gave us some great restaurants nearby for our suppers and his recommendations were spot on with great meals. He helped me book a room at our next stop. He even called the hotel in Sorrento and got me a better price. At 4/5 star hotels, the reception won't do that for you..|We stayed two days and both days we really enjoyed the breakfast. It wasn't just pastries and bread but had eggs, various cheeses, meats, tea, coffee at will...very good for a small hotel. |Check out was simple and quick as well. A taxi did pick us up at the hotel to take us to the train station.|All and all, a very good location in a fun and vibrant part of town, comfortable and very clean room, with great support of the staff before, during, and beyond our stay. I enjoyed my long conversations with Marco about solving world problems!

Yelp
An unexpected oasis in the old part of town (especially if you book a room with a patio). Super nice and helpful staff, free breakfast delivered to your room or in the shared breakfast area (lots of options), and delicious espresso. They have umbrellas to lend out in case of rain, will help with luggage, tour reservations, etc (all with a genuine smile), as well as serve drinks in the bar (a bottle of white wine is 8 euro). The streets outside are tiny. Like the size of a double sidewalk that accommodated cars, bikes, vespas, pedestrians and overflow products from shops. Easy to walk places like to the metro, etc. Our car transportation to the next town had a bit of trouble finding us, but a call to the front desk helped him right away (same for the taxi on the way in, he needed to see the address twice and asked someone on the road if he was close, so I recommend having the address on a map ready for your driver). The room had a small mini fridge (not much room for extras unless you empty out the sodas etc), a huge counter in the bathroom, large bathtub and wonderful shower head. The reading lights above the bed were great for a late night reading session. WiFi was decent as well (fast enough for streaming Netflix etc). Fantastic pizza around corner!

Yelp
When you choose a hotel in the Spanish quarter you should know the rooms will be small and the neighborhood will be noisy but for me being there is worth it. I'll Convento was a very pleasant surprise. Yes, the room was small but the air conditioning worked superbly and closing the windows eliminated the street noise. Management and staff were marvelous and the breakfast offerings were quite good. We go to Naples often and will definitely stay here again. One warning: watch carefully when crossing the very narrow streets. We were very narrowly missed by a ten year old riding out of control on his four wheel vehicle and a vespa nearly hit our dog as he preceded us crossing the street.

Yelp
Great breakfast and cappuccino. Rooms were clean and nice. And comes with a free wake up call every morning weather you like it or not.

Yelp
This location is literally steps away from the city center and the main street, Via Toledo, where all the shops, great restaurants, cafes, gelaterias, bakeries, and more are found. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and super helpful. They spoke english fluently and they addressed all our needs in providing suggestions and advice on all things. This made a world of difference for our stay. The spacious room was extremely clean with a big bed with plenty of pillows and clean sheets. There was a well stocked fridge, a safety lock box, and a balcony, which were great features I used a lot. The bathroom was also very modernized and spacious bathroom has a bidet and a good sized shower. I felt totally comfortable in the room. The breakfast had many options to choose from with coffee to order. My only suggestion is to go early as they do not stock it up toward the end. You just can't beat the value of this hotel for all it has to offer. I would totally stay here again next time I am in Naples.

Yelp
Small, very friendly staffed hotel, in a convenient position for getting around Naples. Plenty of eateries, fruit and take-aways handy. Clean rooms with good facilities, safe, tea/coffee, fridge/bar, shoe cleaner, bottle opener, plus a comfy bed and good working shower. I had a balcony room overlooking the street, once the large doors were closed it was very quiet. (Earplugs also provided) Directions to hotel for arriving from the airport, train station, ferry, using taxi. shuttle, metro, private car or on foot are sent a few days prior and were appreciated. ( car requires garaging not too far away) A hot/cold breakfast is included with a good selection of pastries as well as cereals, yoghurt, fruit and various hot dishes. The staff are knowledgeable on all aspects of Naples and I enjoyed my full days there, being October, I was able to use one of the umbrellas provided at the door! To be recommended to all Lesley G

Yelp
Great hotel. Clean. Good size room and bathroom. Free internet. Some mentioned that it was noisy with the street traffic. Once the windows were closed, I thought it was fine. Or I may have been so exhausted from traveling that I just didn't notice. But they do provide ear plugs in the room. I only stayed one night before heading to the Amalfi Coast, but I'd definitely stay again.
