The location is superb, right behind the main square in the centre of the city. Our room had a lovely view over a small walking-only street. Has a sweet bed and breakfast vibe and staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Situated in the historic heart of the old town, this place (meaning = The Fireplace) is very hard to find, and even harder to leave. It is within a pedestrian zone where only authorised vehicles can go, but taxis are allowed, and, if you are driving yourself, you are permitted to drop off luggage before parking your car outside the city walls some 500m away. Refined and elegant, but small and personable, the little albergo has 14 rooms. Ask for one at the quieter, rear of the hotel, and get a canal view if possible. Two steps and you are looking at the Cathedral belltower; another 25 metres and you are in the medieval square. Treviso is a paradise on earth and this is where you must start your voyage of discovery.
