Hotel Il Palazzo

This was hands down the most interesting hotel experience I've ever had. The setting and interior design are delightfully unusual—like stepping into a stylish little adventure. The room itself exceeded expectations: clean, modern, and super comfy. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, adding to the warm vibe. The all-you-can-eat concept? So fun—and it works! Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea were all excellent. This hidden gem in Fukuoka is perfect for travelers who crave something a little different. Highly recommended if you're ready to add a spark of adventure to your stay.

Stayed here for one night in April. Location is in the city centre so very convenient and nearby tourist spots like Hakata. Staff were very friendly. Our room was ready for us even though we arrived a few hours before the check-in time. The room was good, with good facilities. There were delicious chocolates given as a welcome gift. The breakfast and all day buffet had a great variety of food and tasted amazing. Highly recommend!

The overall accommodation experience was quite average. There were no additional facilities, and although meals were included with an all-you-can-eat option for all three meals, the food selection was monotonous and easily became tiresome. The room rates were expensive — we stayed for two nights mainly because of the beautiful lighting and design. The room was considered a high-end one with a bathtub, but it was actually quite small and not very practical to use.

The hotel exterior is very unique looking and the room is very spacious for Japan standards. However, it is very warm as the room's temperature is centrally controlled. The blankets were very thick and not suitable for such a warm room. This hotel also provides full day buffet at its restaurant. Food is so so, we ate there a couple of times for convenience.

The interior design of the hotel is up to the standards and neat. Location is undoubtedly one of the most strategic. However the housekeeping wise has to be improved as one of my used coffee cup and glass were left for 3 days consecutively even though they do cleaning everyday.

Our stay at Hotel Il Palazzo was great and better than expected. There was not a lot of selection on the food offered for the buffet, but the food was good and makes it just right. Location is convenient and rooms are clean. Would definitely consider to come back again.

If you want to stay here with the cheap price, try to book only 2 days in advance. The AI will dump the price down 50%. I paid the normal price so it hurt my feeling a lot when i found this out. The hardware is 5 star++ beautiful design!! Huge bathtub. However when i stay in the hotel, i dont feel like being in Japan. More likely i stay in South Asia since most of staffs I' d seen are from there.

Homage to Aldo Rossi and Uchida, but was unprepared for an amazing stay! The renovation is superb. Respecting the original masterpiece, while bringing the operation and ambience up to date. All day dining food quality is delicious , but it's the super friendly and attentive staff that go above and beyond to ensure we felt pampered. Rooms are clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated and appointed, an absolute gem!....will stay longer next time which hopefully is soon!
