Hotel Il Querceto

A friendly family run hotel. The room was a good size and was clean and comfortable. A balcony in the room gave great views over the surrounding mountains.||On the edge of town but a good base for local walks.||Food was simple and home cooked was tasty and wholesome. Some great Pasta dishes. ||Staff were helpful. ||We went early season so the hotel was quiet, the pool was not open and some of the outside areas were lacking in furniture. The hotel was safe and clean.

Hotel is in great location, walking distance in town. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean ,large with a nice balcony. Comfortable bed and pillows. The lobbies, hallways, sitting areas etc are decorated with interesting art. The terrace has a million dollar view!

The rooms are ok, the furniture was a bit old and it could be a bit cleaner, but somehow I felt the value for money was decent considering the offers in the area. I still don't understand how this place has 9 out of 10 in booking. The property feels a bit abandoned (added the only 2 pictures I have from the place, because I was a bit too shocked with these 2 things and didn't really get anything noteworthy to keep a memory of 😅), and the breakfast is quite weak, particularly for Italy where the food is normally so amazing. Feels like discounted packaged items from the supermarket. Staff was nice but I also got the impression that some weren't really happy to be working there, but we also didn't interact much.

Family run place, lovely place, beautiful views, great food. We were there for hiking and it's a perfect location. It overlooks the mountains.It is named for cork trees on the property. I recommend this place. @sssss@ssssss@ssssssssssass

Beautiful hotel, staff were very nice and the meals were just delicious. The room was very silent and large, with confortable beds for everyone.| 100% worth the price. Even the breakfast was surprisingly tasty! The hotel has a very nice view, and the air conditioning insured you ont get too hot.

What an awesome hotel. Stayed for a week in mid-May with my hiking group at this perfectly located family-run hotel in Dorgali. My room was spacious and comfortable (love the water pressure in the shower). Although I prefer a simple breakfast, I did note the wide variety of choices on offer from fresh fruits, cheeses, cakes, breads, eggs, croissants, cereals, etc. - more than enough to satisfy the discerning palate. The hotel also prepared take-away lunches for our hikes (and provided fresh fruits, water, and juices). The lunches were always ample and most gratifying during the long hikes; dinners were all uniformly excellent, beautifully presented, and prepared to gourmet standard by the chef. The staff - starting from the owners - were gracious, super friendly, helpful, and always ready to provide tips on things to see and do in Dorgali and the surrounding regions. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay. So peaceful with lovely views of the hills. First class breakfast but go early if there is a tour group as they clear the laid out food meaning you have to wait for replacements. Range of delicious cheeses to eat too. Eggs cooked fresh and hot. Artisan breads. Also gluten free food alternatives

The hotel is beautiful, the room was very comfortable and clean. I slept so well, the bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. The restaurant is excellent, and the view from the dining terrace is stunning. Very rich breakfast buffet with delicious fresh food. |If you’re gluten intolerant you will be well taken care of.
