We spent 5 nights there and our experience was great! The rooms are getting tidied everyday and are generally really really clean. Additionally, the hotel provides breakfast at its terrace (amazing sunset) which is also nice with good products. We will definitely visit again!

Iliovasilema has a convenient location in Chora and there are wonderful views from their terrace and some of the west facing rooms (we had one of these). E-mail communication was easy and prompt and we were pleased to be met at the port and driven up the steep hill to the hotel. Front desk service was friendly. Just a few minutes walk from the hotel is the main street in Chora where there are restaurants, cafes and two small supermarkets. Our first floor room was spotlessly clean, but very dated. The small tiled bathroom had a hand held shower and no shower curtain so taking a shower wets the entire bathroom. We're no stranger to this kind of bathroom, but in the last decade standards everywhere are increasing and these old style facilities are disappearing (thank goodness). The view from our small balcony was stunning, but not so lovely is the total lack of privacy, as there is no barrier whatsoever between the balconies on either side of ours. Some privacy barriers needed. We had been advised in advance that there was no breakfast provided on site, which was fine as there are cafes nearby. Good aircon. This is a good budget choice if you want to be in Chora and don't mind simple accommodation. We stayed here 2 nights. Other reviews mention a shuttle to the beaches, but this was not offered during our stay in the 3rd week of September.

The cleanest hotel we have stayed in, and we have traveled all around Europe including most of Greek Islands (and we are crazy with cleaning), super nice people, kind, keen on helping (even provided us with beach umbrella for free and advised us which beach is the best each day, based on the weather). Super delicious breakfast with local goodies, centrally located with immediate access to all of the beaches. Married couple, 29 years old.

Eudokia speaks little but is very attentive to every detail and excellently manages this beautiful hotel. It is strategically located at the top of the Chora di Schinoussa, with magnificent sea views both to the west and east of the island, charming at sunset, from which the hotel takes its name. Large rooms, furnished in a sober but functional way, clean and with frequent change of linen. Efficient air conditioners, hairdryer, simple but comfortable beds, pleasant balcony in all rooms. One of them also has a magnificent terrace with a 360 degree view. Very rich, plentiful and varied breakfast, with local specialties, served on a terrace overlooking the sea. Extremely courteous and efficient staff, always willing to help with sympathy. Strict attention to anti-COVID rules of conduct and hygiene in general. Very reasonable prices even in high season. Really a great choice for a holiday in Schinoussa!

We arrived without having booked which was probably not such a good idea even early in the season - this hotel, as the entire hotel, attracts more and more tourists it seems. We had a room without view, which wasn't that bad as one can enjoy the large common amenities during breakfast and the rest of the day. Our room was simple, no decoration, with a fridge. Those familiar with pension-like holidaying in the Cyclades would not complain about the size of the bathroom; others might find it annoying. We appreciated the breakfast, surprisingly generous given the type of hotel, and above all the professionalism and sense of service of the owner and her small, low key but efficient team.||We walked to the beaches, although the hotel provides shuttle service do a different beach every day.

A place to be! Nice located in the center of the island. The view from every room is amazing due to the panoramic placement of the overall establishment. Our room was very clean and quite spacious. The breakfast was beyond every expectation. Last but not least Evdokia the owner of the hotel is extremely helpful and hospital. We are looking forward to come again! Margaritis and Margarita

After reading all good reviews we expected much more. But in reality things are different. Room with fantastic view, but with ancient furniture and very small bathroom. No Wi-Fi upstairs, only in 2 metres radius around reception. So, you imagine 20 people in small space trying to go online... Stuff indifferent...
