We stayed here 3 nights and overall it was fine. Excellent location on the main square, Rooms where clean and beds comfy and you had complimentary hot drinks in the reception. Breakfast was hit and miss, one day you would get a selection of bread, juice, fresh fruit, eggs, ham and cheese and other days you would get just bread, jam and coffee on offer. They stored our bags while we went to Machu Picchu and the staff were very pleasant. One down side is the noise of other guest early in the morning, although it's not exactly the hotels fault for other people's rudeness maybe some signs to say keep quiet before 7am would be appropriate. The hallway around the rooms echoed considerably.

We ended up in Cusco earlier than anticipated (long story) and had to quickly find a place for our family to stay. We were not happy with the first place we had reserved and ended up at Inkawasi instead. The location is great! Right on the plaza yet tucked away so you don't hear all the noise. Our room was a simple quadruple for the family. We had hot water (first place didn't) and breakfast was similar to what we had experienced in previous Peruvian lodging. What really stood apart was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They always went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They really were kind and patient people.

This hotel is in a great location right on the main square, although despite that it was not noisy in the room. ||The rooms are clean, hot water a bit hit and miss, although when I reported to reception my shower was cold they made sure this was rectified quickly. The staff are really friendly and all spoke enough English to compensate for my terrible lack of Spanish. Linton deserves a special mention as he sorted the hot water for me. Having just returned from a 4 day trek I think he sensed I might cry if I couldn’t have a hot shower! He was always very helpful and smiley when I passed through reception. ||Overall very nice and met my needs as a central base between trips. My only negative feedback would be that the hotel was a bit cold.

Well, we chose the wrong hotel in Cusco. I'm sure it's great for backpackers, but not if you like just a little comfort.||The room was small and the bed took up most of the space. I couldn't unpack my suitcase or even open it on the floor. Had to put it on the bed.||There wasn't always hot water in the shower|. And Cusco can get quite cold, so that was a bummer.||On the up side: the wifi was good and the staff friendly enough. Also: Cusco is amazing.||But we paid 80 dollars a night for no good reason.||

This place gets two stars because the beds are comfy, the wifi is fast and it's clean, but it stops there. The breakfast is garbage. The water only worked half the time I was here (4 days), and when it did a hot shower would only last five minutes. The check-out is earlier than any hotel I've ever seen at 09:30am. If you have an an afternoon flight or bus out, plan on being kicked out of you room and having to spend the day waiting outside. The room had a desk but no chair inside (what?). Would never ever stay here again.

There are two things that I expect from a hotel - hot water and wifi. This hotel advertised both but did not deliver as promised. After waiting more than five minutes for hot water in thr shower, I was told the heater just needed to be turned on. So much for 24 hour hot water. The wifi service to the rooms was intermittent throughout my first night. I could not sleep due to the altitude, and wanted to he able to surf the net for somethimg to occupy my time. So much for 24 hour wifi. The only thing this place has going for it is its location. Recommendation? Stay someplace else.

Anytime you can stay on the Plaza de Armas in Cusco it's a plus! This hotel is right there and there are half a dozen restaurants adjacent to it. The room was nice and it's a Quaint hotel with little outside noise to be heard. The Carnival bands were playing in the square and we heard nothing! Staff is very helpful but speak little English. For the price it's a nice and convenient hotel. They even arranged a Taxi pickup at the airport for about 25 soles

My wife and our 11 year old have been living in Urubamba for the last few months. Our older sons were flying in to Cusco and we decided to rent a room so they could adjust the altitude. We had looked at Andean Wings which we had toured earlier but they couldn't get us in. We chose the Inca Wasi because it had room for 5 in one room. There was a picture of a loft with 3 beds and a lower level with a double and seating area (this room doesn't exist). The room was tiny. The paint was peeling off the walls. The bathroom was moldy smelling. Wifi didn't work in the rooms only in the common areas. We had to be quiet upon arrival as it appeared there was an AA meeting in progress in the dining room. The one saving grace were the staff! They were lovely and amazing.
