On the Grid : Hotel Indigo

"Built on the site of a legendary folk artist, Nellie Mae Rowe (1900-1982), Hotel Indigo takes many cues from her eclectic style as well as the larger history and lifestyle of Vinings itself. As Vinings was largely shaped by it's relationship to the railroad cutting through it's hills and the ferries and barges that steamed past on the Chattahoochee, Indigo used these and other influences to define the style on the interior. From floor tiles mimicking railroad patterns, to glass circles inspired by Nellie's own work, to a mural of a mule in the bar that was a character in it's own right in nellie's family, to scenes of Vinings on the walls and much more, the materials and style of Indigo reflect the history and charm of this village and the powerful personalities who have made it home." - Station16

I booked this hotel based on decent reviews and close proximity to a customer. It was clean, the staff were great. I got in early so they let me use a space in the lobby to work. They play music in the lobby the staff was upbeat humming and singing and laughing. That always makes it more pleasant. I like the decor it’s interesting kinda artistic, a little homey and a little boho. The bed in my room was super comfortable.

Stayed overnight for a business meeting in the area. The hotel was nice from beginning to end. The check-in staff were so friendly and really were a highlight. ||The room was comfortable. It was actually quite large. The bathroom was also large and the shower got hot fast with excellent water pressure. ||The wifi was also quite strong which was important as I was there for work. ||The best amenity is that the hotel provides a shuttle to any destination in a 2 mile radius of the property which was incredibly convenient. ||I'd stay here again when I have business in the area.

Clean rooms. Nice pool although the hot tub could’ve been hotter. I gave it four stars for that and because there was no fridge in the room and that was a bit inconvenient. But we truly enjoyed our stay! Check in with Elizabeth was smooth she was great! And Ariel at the bar was outstanding! Her and Malik kept me laughing. Compliments to the chef too! 😙👌

Hands down probably the worst place I stayed at. Property is falling apart and not safe. Lots of tripping hazards near the pool. Photos are deceiving. Upon arrival, our room smelled like straight chlorine, hard to breathe, had to open doors and windows to get some air. Pool lounge chairs are so torn up, I was in disbelief that they were even out. They’re not functional so I’m not even sure why they are out. No pool towels, I called the front desk as I was standing outside wet, I saw the person that works there sitting on the couch in the lobby, playing on her cellphone. It took several minutes of ringing u til she finally got up and answered the phone in a rude manner. No accommodations. Not even a cup of black coffee.

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Upon check-in for a 2-night stay, I was told that my reservation could not be found (a fully paid reservation made at least a month before). After 40 minutes, a reservation was eventually created. I entered the room to discover a leak in the shower. After contacting the front desk, I was informed that maintenance had already attempted to fix the issue but could not because they needed to order parts. That aside, the room itself was fine though the bathroom door and shower floor was in disrepair. The second night, I returned to discover that my room card had been deactivated and had to revisit the front desk to have this issue rectified. Despite already paying in full for the room, separate from incidentals, my card was charged multiple times by the hotel for reasons unknown. When I inquired with the front desk, I was told that the charges were authorization holds would fall off. However, two days after checkout I discovered that these charges actually processed, which I am now having to dispute with my credit company and the hotel. I would 100% not recommend this hotel. My stay here was fraught with issues.

Quick overnight for a baseball game. We were only at the actual hotel about 8 hours but overall it was fine. We had a small issue but not a big deal.|Upon arriving back from the game the room was hot. Still. We turned the air down when we left in hopes that it would have a chance to catch up. This first room also had zero decor on the walls or anything. Nothing like the picture on the website. ||We were moved into a different room without any issues. The air still wasn't like home but it was fine for the night. This second room had a little more flare. ||The shuttle is a great service but make note that you are dropped off in the area of the stadium but not at the stadium. It was fine but just not what we expected. ||Again, nothing major but i really wanted a boutique hotel experience and I don't really feel like we had that.

The property is excellent in its comfortable feel and style. The staff at the restaurant/bar were very friendly, accommodating and service oriented. Breakfast was consistently outstanding. Complimentary shuttle service was a real value. Room was nicely appointed, clean and well above average for rooms in this price point.

My recent stay at Hotel Indigo was exceptional in every regard. The accommodations offered outstanding comfort, with well-appointed rooms that created a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The service throughout my visit was exemplary—efficient, thoughtful, and consistently exceeding expectations. The hotel personnel were uniformly friendly, polite, and professional—their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any need made for a truly seamless and enjoyable experience. Every interaction reflected a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and high standards of hospitality.

Yelp
Staff is among the best... but the asset manager (property owner) has clearly decided to abandon this property. Avoid this place like the plague. It's on the downward slide. All systems had failed. No room keys available. No air conditioning. Imagine having to wait in line to have someone take you to your unconditioned room, but then you can't leave because you don't have a key. Nightmare?! Nope. That is the reality at this hotel. Oh and best of all. They took every credit card and wrote it on a piece of paper. Including date and CVC. In total violation of PCI compliance rules. Update: Day 2 Still don't have any keys for our rooms. Original room still at 78 degrees. "Free breakfast" is order by menu from a terribly overworked person. Just wanted a muffin to go. Muffin is on menu but not available. You think it can't get any worse.... Then they just manage to accomplish that. Oh and best of all.... Men's toilet in lobby backed up with feces floating all over. This was at 6 am. So they don't even bother to clean. Again. This has all the marks of an asset that is being "let go". Don't give these people your hard earned money. They clearly do not care about your health or happiness during your stay.

Yelp
It was a nice hotel in a great location. It did not have an in room refrigerator. And I could not find an ice machine. So our left overs ruined overnight. Room was comfy, clean and quiet. Check in was a nightmare.

Yelp
Arrived here for a business trip and walked in and the decor was nice. I really liked the big room past the check in counter was very homely. They had a bar to the left and this place would be nice for some business meetings possibly they have the room. Upon entering my room you can tell this place is older but has got a makeover. There are some things that shout out OLD. The bed was comfy and the shower was NICE. They had cute decor in the room. The tv is a little old fashioned though but all in all the room was comfy. They do have a pool and a hot tub and several places to sit and just chill. There are plenty of outside places to eat and it's close to the freeway. There are so many beautiful houses around which just took my breath away. The staff were friendly and the bathroom is big enough if you need more space. Parking is good but I think needs more light towards the bottom which I think is why people did not park down there much. All in all nice stay.

Yelp
The worst. Do not try to go to the restaurant or take out from there. Ordered chicken breast, they were out. Ordered mushroom Ravioli and I received cheese tortillini like what you get from a Chef Boyardee can.

Yelp
I stayed at the Hotel Indigo Atlanta recently and was extremely disappointed with their so-called "pet-friendly" policy. While they charge a hefty $150.00 for my two 15-pound pets, they offer no dedicated pet area for dogs. The only option they provide is a blacktop parking lot, which, in 83-degree heat, would burn my dog's paw pads. And a 20 X 20 dirt/mulch mound covered with dog debris, broken limbs, and trash. This is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to accommodate pets. To make matters worse, the staff suggested that I drive to a nearby city park for my dogs to do their business. After driving all day, the last thing I want to do is get back in my car to take my dogs to a park so that they can relieve themselves. This is highly inconvenient for travelers with pets, especially after paying such a high fee. I expected much more from a hotel that markets itself as pet-friendly. If you're traveling with pets, I recommend looking elsewhere unless you're okay with paying high fees and getting little in return. Traveling solo I rate average; however traveling with pets do not book here.

Yelp
Stayed for a little staycation for our anniversary, absolutely GREAT experience! Brenda at the front desk was absolutely amazing and super friendly. Room was wonderful overlooking the pool. Honestly felt like we were in a nice little resort in Florida. Will definitely be coming back for more staycations! Also, we stayed at the intercontinental last year for our anniversary and I was pissed I spent $400 for a night there. This was less expensive and I would take this over the intercontinental hands down any day!

Yelp
This "rooftop"is actually middle of the building. 5th floor but stands out as a cut out. You want to come here! Watch fireworks fourth of ajuly because the view is going to rock. Food is good, ambience is great

Yelp
Stayed Thursday - Sunday for a cheer competition and first room toilet wouldn't flush, moved to a second room on Friday and same issue with toilet in that room. Went to customer service that night and they did not have plunger and could not help except to put me in a 3rd room the next day. And come to find out another guest had issues with toilet as well and had to go down to first floor to use restroom in main lobby for there entire stay. And the hotel offered no discount or compensation other then to say call corporate nothing she could do.

Yelp
Stayed here for a few nights with my family... Customer service was amazing! Brenda went above and beyond on making sure I was good and super helpful... I was so happy she was there and helpful. I wish everyone in the service business can provide customer service with that much attention and care! Overall experience was great! S\O to Brenda!!!! Great job!

Yelp
Just arrived at 11pm to find that a "computer glitch" occurred and they canceled my reservation. That hasn't happened in my millions of miles around the world, but the real rating is because they appeared totally unapologetic, offered absolutely nothing in terms of compensation to my IHG account, and I ended up having to pay for another Uber to a different location. Can't speak to the facility because I never got in, but the basic vibe is not customer service based at all

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. I was extremely satisfied. The hotel is very clean and neat. The staff is amazing. Derek, the manager was very helpful when I needed to print out something for work. Sway at the front desk was very knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and kind. All the staff there were very courteous and helpful. The cleaning staff was great. I really enjoyed my stay there. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. Highest recommendation for this hotel!

Yelp
It's nice to look at. Restaurant was devine . But you have to request a refrigerator and/or microwave in order to have one in your room. The city would make you pay for air to breathe if they could. Request a fridge? Really?

Yelp
Please accept this communique as a report concerning a customer service encounter at Hotel Indigo Atlanta - Vinings. For the past several years, I have purchased lodging at the aforementioned location when in Atlanta, GA on business - typically three (3) times a year. In addition, I am a long time Hilton Honors Silver member and felt valued as a customer until a recent encounter. On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, I drove seven (7) hours from my home in North Carolina to Atlanta to check in at Hotel Indigo Atlanta - Vinings. The related reservation was confirmed on Saturday, April 13, 2024, via Beneplace for four (4) nights and paid in full for $766.27. In addition, the room type and rate was non-refundable, could not be canceled, changed or transferred. To my chagrin, I was informed by the person assigned at the front desk that the hotel was overbooked by management and accommodations were made for me to check in at another hotel miles away. It was also made clear that the accommodations made by Hotel Indigo were for one night only, excluded parking charges and was essentially their best and final offer - "take it or leave it." Therefore, additional nights were my responsibility in terms of booking and costs. To add insult to injury, Indigo management reportedly overbooked hotel rooms two (2) days prior to my arrival but refused to grant me the courtesy of a "heads up." Furthermore, the front desk staff on duty when I arrived projected a negative attitude as if I was wrong for booking the reservation through Beneplace. In lieu of accepting Hotel Indigo's unreasonable and humiliating offer, I had no choice but to initiate a request for reimbursement in full for the prepaid/confirmed reservation via Beneplace. Since I was left to my own devices and unable to secure reasonable lodging, I was forced to drive back later the same evening, seven (7) hours to return home. Hopefully, corrective action is taken with the front desk staff at Hotel Indigo Atlanta - Vinings so that other customers are not subjected to this same type of humiliation and embarrassment.

Yelp
Checked in for a nice weekend staycation. The hotel is a boutique style with beautiful decor. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. I was disappointed there was no fridge or microwave in the room, more so there was no fridge as I can survive without a microwave. Our first night had added excitement, the fire alarm went off and we had to dress quickly and go outside in the courtyard area to wait out the alarm. We soon went into the lobby to wait it out because it was chilly outside. After a few minutes the alarm ended and we were able to go back to our rooms. Wasn't sure what really happened however happy their wasn't a fire that we could see or smell. After the first night we noticed that their was a leak in our ceiling that wet up the coffee maker area and a few pillows along with my luggage and the inside contents. I tried to call the front desk, ended up going all the way downstairs to the desk because the phone wasn't working properly in our room. We were told that someone would come right away to check on the leak and that we could pack up and change to another room. We were told that the phone systems were being changed over and that was why the phone wasn't working properly. The second room was just as nice as the the previous one. Their was a problem with getting the room to a warm temperature and I had to call the front desk. Maintenance came right up, turned the thermostat up in hopes that this would help. It did not. I had to call the front desk again, maintenance came back again we were offered to move to another room, this time I declined too much effort to move again, I told them. The maintenance guy gave us a small desk heater that helped warm the entire room and we were finally able to be comfortable. We ordered roomservice for breakfast. Everything was good. I understand things can unexpected things can happen, which it did in our case however the attentiveness of the staff makes me want to try this hotel all over again oneday and hopefully everything will go smoothly. Overall very nice hotel with a friendly attentive staff. We were greeted everytime they saw us, even housekeeping gave us a smile in the hallway.

Yelp
Have stayed here on business on a number of occasions. No mini fridge or microwave. Hot water took 30 minutes to get warm, not hot. Would not recommend for anything over a nights stay.

Yelp
Ghetto hotel. Rooms: decent size. But the room phone won't work; AC is obnoxiously loud and dusty; the walls are paper thin can hear everything in the adjacent room. Services: since the phone in room doesn't work, I used personal cellphone to request a later checkout but the staff declines a later checkout and abruptly hangs up the phone??? Food: mediocre perhaps even on the lower end of edible spectrum.

Yelp
Yes! Please do yourself a favor and stay here! There is this wonderful person named Sharon, she is amazing my friends. While I was checking in there were these 4 snotty women checking in, giving everyone a hard time. Poor Sharon, she seemed flustered so when she was taking care of me I smiled and said good afternoon to her, she visibly relaxed. Throughout our time there, we, (me and Duy) had the ultimate date night! We had a great trivia time with the Yelp event, ate an outstanding dinner from Public House, and got to try a fun new drink. This is definately different for us as we are homebodies. Finally....a very anticipated knock on our door with our Yelp's "Baecation" secret gift. A bag of assorted candies complete with chocolates and jellies, 2 varied sizes of chocolate heart boxes, 2 mini bottles of champagne, and yelp post its! My boyfriend felt very "wined and dined as he put it and I gotta thank you for that! Thank you! BREAKFAST TIME!!! I think it's worth noting, but they have a low country boil Benedict. WOW you guys have got to try it

Yelp
Stayed here last weekend for a yelp elite event that was hosted by this hotel and the public house restaurant. Walking in it seemed newly renovated as the outside reminded you of an old bed-and-breakfast. The two ladies in the front were quite pleasant and check-in was a breeze. Once we got to the room (room 132) it seemed fine as we were rushing to make the event which was located in the Public House restaurant. The restaurant staff was understaffed and that was confusing to me knowing that they had an event to host that evening. That was a disappointment especially because they ran out of food.We return to our room at the end of the night and it quickly turned into a nightmare. The room that we were placed in had a generator and all AC units located right outside of the window. Therefore, the noise was so loud that sleeping became a struggle. It was if the generator and AC units were battling to see which would be louder! The next morning breakfast was also a disaster! I waited an hour for eggs... Come on people it's liquid eggs! There was also one waitress and she was pretty much flustered running back-and-forth while turning people away who entered. Yes, actually saying we cannot take any more orders till 30 or more minutes! AND they were technically still open for breakfast at that time. Very unprofessional! I will not be returning to this establishment. If you do decide to stay here do not stay in room 132.

Yelp
So visiting on a work trip and not very impressed thus far, especially for the price. The lobby and bar area is very nice. Great decor, ample places to sit and overall a nice feeling. So far everyone on staff has been extremely friendly. Room. I was given a handicap room which is fine, but the hotel was no sold out. I didnt want a shower chair or handicap shower preferred. No biggie but didnt care for it. Beds are comfy and plenty of nice pillows. So no issues there what so ever. As you can see by the pic, my glass door is not secured properly and is gapped. So plenty of crawling critters to get in, and as you can see in the pic plenty of dead ones. Bathroom is sub par by all the fixtures that are broken or scratched. Again, for the price I was a little surprised. Also, dont plan on having a lot of clothes you can hang. Closet space is extremely limited yet has more than enough hangers. Overall I would not stay here again. It's not a bad hotel, but didnt feel like it was worth the money.

Yelp
My review is for the bar ONLY! I stopped in with a friend on a Friday night. We wanted food and drinks, and this spot is conveniently located to my home. There were two bartenders present and a decent amount of patrons. The female bartender was very friendly and had the personality for the job. The male on the other hand appeared to have just showed up for the pay check. Not very engaging, however I do believe he was in training. We started out with the octopus for an appetizer. It has a tomato base, and in my opinion, not enough octopus. This was not my favorite preparation for octopus. For dinner we split the chicken thigh entree. This was a huge hit! It contains arugula, herbed basmati, shitaki mushrooms and chimichurri . This was a simple, yet mouth watering dish. To finish off we tried the chocolate pecan cake which was also delicious! I did have a shot of Tuaca with my meal and my friend tried several drinks as well. Overall the atmosphere was laid back, engaging and the food and drinks exceeded my expectations. Who knew a night at a hotel bar could be so enjoyable. If you are looking for a low key, yet satisfying spot to spend your evening in the vinnings area, don't overlook this bar.

Yelp
First visit here and I'm already a fan. Another couple of times like this last stay and it could easily be a favorite. Several months ago,, we chose to have Brunch at The Public House which is the hotel restaurant. Actually we arrived to early for Brunch and ended up dining off of the Breakfast Menu. We were impressed by the clean modern looks of the place, the degree of organization we saw and positive comments by others at Breakfast. We therefore decided to give it a try on our next trip to Marietta which we did. Started to look at bookings a month ago and depending on the day of the week, phase of the moon, direction the wind is blowing on line booking vary all over the place. Finally got a great rate and booked immediately. In other words, be patient but monitor closely and you can snag a good deal on a great hotel. Left Cornelius early Thanksgiving day and arrived at my sons around 11;30am for a great feast and by 4:00 we were tired and more that eager to check in for the first of four nights. Staff at the desk was great and we ended up with a room on the 4th floor. Coming down the hall, we could hear a dog which is not surprising since this is pet friendly hotel and were concerned but once we got into the room, could not hear a thing. I've been undergoing physical therapy and cortisone injection for back pains and have had problems sleeping in hotels while traveling. Not here. This was the best three nights sleep I's had in months including my own bed at home. Only negative or things I would have done different, when I booked I paid for breakfast at The Public House for three days. While it still adequate, it does not offer enough variety for Breakfast. We ended up ordering other items not included in with this purchase price and paying for them separately. No big deal. In this case, my wife does not like to leave the hotel for breakfast but I like to try other places so we start with a dichotomy. . i still recommend The Public House which is great but you are limited on the Breakfast Menu if you book with the hotel. This also posed on of the few problems we had during our stay. When we got the bill for the adjustments from the extras we had charged to our room, there was one from the first day that was not ours. Took awhile to straighten out but in the end, the signature on the bar tab was not legible so they it go they could not prove it was us. Not a high level of trust in your patrons

G Q.

Yelp
First time here. Rooms are very nice. Updated and clean. The lobby is well lit and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. Drew was extremely kind to us during our week there. The only thing that bothered me was the romm maid and lack of room service. My room maid didn't bother to dust my room or replenish the body lotion in the bathroom. There was a layer of dust on the lamps and shades that never left.

R R.

Yelp
Room 218 has NO AC! Night manager brought us a fan at 10:30pm and said hotel totally booked so he could not move us that night. The next day, we spoke to 3 different gentleman at the front desk thruout the day(90degrees outside) requesting HVAC repair. AC was never serviced but we moved to another room that had updated furniture and working AC. Daily maid service was the best thing at this hotel. Will not stay here again. Received room rate reduction of 50% for our first night.

Yelp
Hotel is beautiful! The front desk saff was very polite. However, the system of verifying payment is a breach of confidentiality. I was ask by the manger to show him my bank statement to prove my payment was charged. There has to be another way. I am beyond pissed and feel violated of my privacy. This is unsatisfactory.

Yelp
What more can you ask for in a hotel? The grounds are spotless, the hotel inside in immaculate, the rooms are spacious with a cozy decor and beautiful inviting colors but what makes this hotel so great is the amazing staff. From Alana at the front desk to the restaurant staff and housekeeping, the staff is the friendliest and most accommodating anywhere we've been. The pool and jacuzzi with waterfall was especially nice. Big shout out to Drew Fransen, Corporate Sales Director who greeted us warmly the first day and everyday til check out. Sharon was extra helpful and George was a great server - great smile and a kind, personable demeanor. We highly recommend Hotel Indigo for anyone wanting an intimate friendly and accommodating hotel just outside Atlanta and close to everything you need.

Yelp
My new go-to hotel in Atlanta! What a pleasant surprise! Stayed here one night for a concert at the Coca-Cola Roxy Theater. I work in the travel industry and spend 10-12 nights per month in hotels so I am very particular when it comes to hotels. Upon check-in, property offered and great first-impression. Front desk attendant was pleasant and efficient. Lobby was clean and quaint with plenty of seating area and a nice little bar and restaurant. Room was clean, quiet and very well decorated. Bed was crazy comfortable and A/C was ROCKING cold...perfect for sleeping! Best part about property was there was no door slamming by other guests and house keeping. House keeping was very quiet while in hallways. A wonderful added bene to this property is that it's located just down the road to the new Braves Stadium/Coca-Cola Roxy complex and the hotel offers a free shuttle to/from the stadium complex. It was awesome! If you're looking for a great place to stay in the north Atlanta area (especially for a Braves game or a concert at the Roxy), look no further!

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Front desk staff person was warm, welcoming, and informative. Able to check in early after driving in. Room was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Enjoyed an evening in the bar and Gabby was an attentive and engaging bartender. Had a great stay.

Yelp
Recently came here on business and didn't have a lot of expectations but gotta say really liked this place. This hotel was something else before but after being g bought from IHG they have totally transformed this place. From entry you are greeted by super friendly staff and during the week I was here they didn't miss a beat. The rooms are super modern and have lots of modern conveniences...my only dig is they have no water in the room and even if you wanted to pay $6 for water there are no options. In 2018 this is pretty much a standard either offer complimentary water upon check in or charge in the room but have an option. Now the stay was great and this is a really nice property with nice amenities including a great fitness area, pool and spa. The hotel also has a great bar with great food options plus it stays open late. The bar has lots of beer and wine options and lots of space to chill out after work and hang out either by yourself or co-workers. Plus in the morning they have a buffet breakfast and for a buffet is actually really good. In a nutshell really enjoyed my visit here and will most definitely be back.

Yelp
I ended up booking a room here on a whim off of hotwire. Very glad I did! Cozy, not overwhelmingly large. I'm not a fan of heights so having 4 stories was a huge plus. The room was SO much better than my expectations! And a Keurig is in the room, nice touch. I would have given 5 stars but the bar in the lobby was disappointing. Staff is inattentive. First night, we ended up just leaving and went down the street since the bartender never acknowledged us. Tried it again the next day in the afternoon and had the same issue with staff. Overall, worth the stay. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I just needed one evening of R&R after an outing with friends so I decided to book a room at Hotel Indigo Atlanta - Vinings on Friday (9/25). I pass the hotel often and it seemed quaint and worth a try. I made my reservation and the morning of check in my card was charged for the nights stay...an odd experience but okay. Check in was simple, my card was charged $75 for incidentals at time of check in but that was new to me also. The outside was nice, the lobby was nice including guest w/masks. I stayed in 401 and that was a trek from the elevator but I was pleasantly surprised by the great king size bed, shower with white subway tiles and nice lighting a somewhat tree obstructed view of the pool but nice nonetheless. The room was spacious, clean and worth the price of one night's stay. There was only one loud individual in the hallway later that night but otherwise peaceful. It's up in the air whether I'll stay again, but for what its worth is was a great nights sleep.

Yelp
You learn a lot about a place of business during times like large snow storms! I checked in because I got stuck at the office and couldn't make it home during a rare Atlanta snow storm. I travel a lot, and stay in a lot of hotels, and I was very impressed with the hotel and especially the staff. They crushed it. This will be my new go to hotel when I am in town. The bar has a great selection of booze and wine, the food is also on point and locally sourced. The hotel manager (I believe that is who she was) worked her tail off accommodating the guests. You could tell the staff worked well together and genuinely liked their jobs...or at minimum each other, which is what will make this hotel successful. The room was clean and spacious w a great bed and bedding. The products are Aveda which always are a step above!

Yelp
Not great, not terrible. Pros: The front desk could not be any nicer!! Cons: SO loud. The walls are PAPER thin, specifically rooms with adjoining doors... You might as well be in the room together because you can hear everything. If you stay here, plan to ask to stay on the top floor if you don't want to hear every step from anyone above you. Another con - The hallways smell like cigarettes and weed.

Yelp
Soooo cute, so cute, so cute. Love the room decor overlooking the poolside area. Friendly staff, clean, convenient parking, outlets on bedside tables (because cell phone and why does every hotel not have this??). This hardly feels like a business trip, I'm so cozy... I checked out the gym and it was nice and adequate though definitely not fancy; however, since the location is within walking distance to many cute places, I decided to get some steps in outdoors. I felt safe even after dark. Have I said cute enough in this review? Only thing is I wish they had a mini fridge...

Yelp
UPDATED REVIEW - Every night I spent here until the last one (total of 3 nights) was fine. The last night I spent here (by no fault of the hotel staff), there was someone stomping across the floor in the room above me well after midnight. I noticed there were some teenagers having a party here earlier in the evening when I returned from my day out. I'm not sure if the attendees had actually reserved rooms, but whoever was in the room above mine has some serious issues to sort through. They made WAY too much noise well into the morning hours. I was SO disappointed because it's my last night in the area before I change to a longer term rental closer to where I'll be working. After this experience I will be sure NOT to book rooms here when I'm in town on business. Nice place, but weekends are a drag if you're like me and wind up in a room on the "private hall" on the first floor. Really bad guest placement being that I specified that I was traveling on business and that I would like to be at a distance from he elevator so that I could have as much quiet as possible on my nights in. I'm really disappointed. I have driven by this location multiple times and wanted to know what it was like to stay here. I had no need when I lived in the area (around 3 miles away). I have since moved away from the area and was scheduled to work in the city so I jumped at the chance to stay here for the first week of my month stay. The building is darling and has a good amount of parking. There was a very pleasant young woman at the front desk when I arrived and she got me checked in very quickly and also gave me a complimentary beverage voucher. So sweet! My room was on the first floor but it was absolutely no bother, as I slept soundly in the comfy bed each night. The bathroom was very clean and bright. I'd say that anyone traveling to the area should definitely give this place a chance. Drop into The Public House for drinks and some tasty bites from the menu or go for a stroll down Paces and where you will find wonderful shopping and fantastic restaurants just steps from the hotel. This is a very nice property in a great location. I believe the price point is sensible for what you get in terms of accommodations and service and I'd definitely stay here again.

Yelp
My partner, parents and I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo in Vinings when we came to town from NY to go wedding dress shopping. I didn't know anything about Vinings at the time except it was supposed to be an upscale suburb. The area was just that! Not a ton to do nearby but that was totally fine. The restaurants were good, there is good coffee across the way at Read Shop and it is a short drive into the city's center. Staying outside the city was totally worth it. I believe we paid $139/night. For the hotel itself, it was incredibly warm and welcoming. The staff didn't bat an eye at a multi-racial and queer family. In fact they welcomed us with smiles and kindness. The facilities are very modern and incredibly clean. The rooms were impeccable, the beds incredibly comfortable. I didn't dine at the hotel but they do have room service, a restaurant and bar. They also have a small shop for snacks and emergency items like Tylenol and tampons. My partner and I had to catch a 6pm flight back to NY and they were able to accommodate a late check out at no extra fee which was a huge relief as we didn't have a car. I didn't try their shuttle service but I know they have one that goes within a 3 mile radius. I would definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Atlanta.

Yelp
The hotel is nice but we got a very bad experience with one of managers. We were going in to book a room and she doesn't greet us, just stare at the monitor and then ask a few moments later she ask how can I help y'all. In the middle of the process I have to repeat my last name and spell it multiple times. And no apologys from her at all. I would recommend this if you can tolerate bad customer service. Because the hotel is nice, but the staff isn't.

Yelp
So I downloaded this app and made an account just to review this place. This hotel looks nice. Don't be fooled. On our first of 2 nightS we discovered traps for bugs that had bugs in them in the bedroom. We would see small (what we assume) are fruit flies every half hour or so throughout our stay. My wife even had to kill a centipede that crawled out from under the TV. If all the bugs weren't bad enough, the AC is VERY loud. The walls are crazy thin meaning we could hear everything in rooms above, below, and beside us. Floors were disgustingly dirty. We walked around the first night with no shoes on and our feet were very dirty by bedtime (only a couple hours). Rooms don't get vacuumed between guests or when room is clean. There are as a strong skunk smell throughout the apartment in the mornings. Counters were sticky and unclean. Multiple outlets didn't work including the ones the TVs were plugged into. We also had MULTIPLE fire alarms go off for 20 mins at a time throughout our second day. This was extremely loud and made our kids very upset. Every door in the room creaked terribly as well. When we told staff about our issues we got no sympathy or apologies. Just an "OK". Probably because they have heard it all before and it doesn't phase them anymore. In summary, the location is nice, but it's probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Yelp
I surprised my boyfriend with tickets to a Braves game. I immediately began researching hotels and stumbled upon this hotel in Vinings. It was perfect. With hotel shuttles to and from Battery and a quick 10 minute uber ride ($8-16), the location can't be beat. The hotel had ample parking with spots in the shade. The pool looked beautiful and we regretted not bringing swimsuits. Our room was adorable. I travel a lot for work and have a routine for hotel stays - disinfecting, checking the mattress, etc. I used the same routine for checking this room - YALL. CLEANEST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED IN FOR MONTHS. This compliment is coming from someone who travels 3-4 times per month for work and regularly frequents Airbnb's for personal travel. I was surprised by how home-y and welcoming the rooms were and more than ecstatic with how clean the room was! It is clear their cleaning staff is thorough. The front staff was beyond friendly and welcoming. For Braves fans, this hotel is a no brainer. I will absolutely stay here again and am really hoping to stay at more Hotel Indigo's in the future. I am talking to my company about making the switch from our current hotel chain.

Yelp
Beds were comfortable and hard floors are nice making the room feel clean. Although I do like the Indigo brand but this location was not the best experience. Room was comfortable but we found 3 live cockroaches from baby to med size running in the bathroom and bedroom which left us with a bad impression as we were worried to get them in our bags. In addition we thought it was a smoke free hotel but the hallway and room next to use had strong marijuana smell which became worse during certain hours of the day/night. On a good note the surrounding area was nice and felt safe, bed was comfortable and we picked this location due to the hard floors which make the room cleaner compared most hotels that have old dirty and worn carpets.

Yelp
I always look forward to business trips to Atlanta and I always hope the reservation is with Hotel Indigo Vinings. They take the utmost care and consideration to each and every guests stay each time I stay. They make everyone feel welcome. The rooms and lounge area are always comfortable and very clean. The check in process was made easy with the help of manager Corey this evening even when checking in late. He was able to resolve issues with my corporate reservation with ease. Would 100% recommend this hotel over and over

Yelp
This hotel is just ok. It is a pet friendly hotel so be prepared to see lots of dogs. Staff was accommodating but the property misses the mark in a few areas. Rooms don't have fridges, microwaves or safes. Also the walls seem to be pretty thin. You can hear everything going on around you and in the hallways. Our room also had ants in the bathroom. It's a convenient location to THD and the new Sun Trust ballpark. Housekeeping and the onsite restaurant were great. Try the French toast!! It's sooo good. Also the pool and patio were nice.

Yelp
Let's get right to the chase. This hotel would get five stars--the restaurant is on point and the rooms are great, and you know how at some places you try to change the tv channel and fall asleep before the channel actually changes? Not here, instant channel changes, it's heroic--but there were a few glaring issues with this place. First, not all my towels were clean. Sure, they were run through a washing machine, but I don't want to see any remnants of how the towel was previously used. One towel has some off-white marks on it and another had red marks. I'll let you figure out how they were used previously. Second, and I kid you not, there is absolutely no AT&T reception here. None, zilch, nada... no service. So forget about it. Now I understand this is not the hotel's issue, but it affected my stay only because... Third, the wifi is ruthless. It just will not keep itself connected to anything. It will go down seconds after connecting. It will force you to manually reconnect, no auto-connect here. And, it's not just the general wifi available from the rooms, the lobby is also terrible. Watch out, this wifi will destroy your productivity. Be warned. The facade is great here, don't look too deep though, you might find something you don't like.

Yelp
I stayed here this passed weekend for my birthday and I wasn't quite pleased. The phones in the room didn't work. They had all these extra bathrooms outside our room but no microwave or fridge in the room. The only people on shift that seemed happy was the young lady that came in overnight. The young lady at the bar was very rude. I just didn't feel as welcomed. The best part of this experience was leaving to go out at night & check-in. I wont ever return here again.

Yelp
Michael, who works the breakfast service, and whoever the lovely woman was in the kitchen, made my stay worthwhile. Excellent service and I was downright surprised at how fresh and good the food was. However, the hotel itself could use some attention. The hallways were extremely warm and smelled like weed. My room was warm even though it was set at 64 when I walked in, I would be surprised if it was really under 78, and the air conditioning system was extremely loud. The walls are thin and you could hear music and conversation all night long. It's a "pet friendly" hotel but the rooms are not designed to be pet friendly. No refrigerator to hold pet food, and rooms, at least my assigned room, was on the fourth floor and around the corner. It was not easy to get two elderly toy poodles out of the building before relieving themselves, but I kept their diapers on them until we exited and I held my little one most of the time while we were in the building. No refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. You have to request them, and you get one based on availability. I didn't notice the lack of refrigerator until it was too late to get one for the night, but one was waiting for me after I came in from my early morning walk with the poodles. Lastly, there is no real designated dog walking area. They do provide bags, although I always bring my own, but no real dedicated place for the dogs to relieve themselves. Landscaping all over was deteriorated from many obvious years of dogs urinating. As a pet friendly hotel, they could do more to be pet friendly. The location is great, you can walk in downtown Vinings. I happen to live in Vinings anyway and this was simply a quick getaway for me and my dogs and we enjoyed a little barhopping with my sister. Overall three stars is the best I can do, but it would have been less if it wasn't for Michael and the breakfast service. I give Michael and the chef five stars!

Yelp
Start with my reservation that I made through their website it was a bad experience. The reservation I made was not taken by hotel indigo but a third party. When my wife and I went to check in they had a different name for her. Next they had a wrong credit card number. Neither of my keys worked when I went to the room and they didn't seem very concerned. When we went to check out no one was at the desk and we had to wait for someone to show up. When we check out we asked for a receipt they said they could not provide me one. Talked to the manager but all she wanted to do was talk over me. Thumbs down for this experience

Yelp
Worst night sleep ever in a hotel! Moved rooms twice; first because of a non working air conditioner; and and then again because of a loud noisy air conditioner. Wide awake at 3:30am. I need sleep! Other than that the room(s) were nice and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Yelp
Hotel is amazing. Bedding and amenities are amazing. However I discovered that the management and front desk staff are not well trained on customer service experience and providing the best services for all its' guests. I had a poor experience with the manager of the facility directly. The room I was placed in was in the very back of the hotel. I specially requested a room near the front because of the number of bags I had. The manager was rude.
