This time the service was not as expected.
Although I have stayed 5 times at this hotel over the past few years, there was no sign of welcome back in our 5 times, comparing to some reviews you see online from other guests.
From the reception, when asking for the deposit did not inform us that the amount has doubled since the previous year, leading to a high deposit.
To a request for change room to the front side, they always asked for an extra fee . Fully understood but for customers who come back every year they could make it easier. The year before we had to change rooms due to a problem in the bathroom pipes, it was a downgrade from king to standard and we didn't got a refund or offer to make up for the price difference.
Design is nice but starts to show big signs of degradation, specially the bathrooms.
The pool and bar really have a great view. Although small pool area.
Breakfast used to be better.
This time it was a complete mess. No one to check you in. People running everywhere. More than half an hour to receive a coffee, since the automatic machines available never had cups. There is not much evolution on breakfast since my first time at this hotel years ago.
Be aware that regarding the position and lack of soundproofing, it is a noisy hotel for sleep.
For the price you pay, there are better options in the neighborhood.
