The hotel is stylish with an interior that still feels warm and inviting. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated with local touches that gave it a unique charm.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. It’s perfect for walking to nearby attractions, restaurants, and the riverfront. Despite being in a central area, my room was quiet and peaceful, which made for a great night’s sleep.
What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional. They made check-in and check-out a breeze.
The on-site restaurant and bar, offered a nice selection of food and cocktails. The chef personally checked on us to ensure that we were enjoying our meal.
I’d definitely stay here again.

Hotel Indigo in Downtown BR is perfect for any trip. The price point was more than reasonable for such a chic stay. The staff was friendly and efficient, including during valet service. My room was not only clean and tidy, but also esthetically pleasing. The downtown view of the river was wonderful. Definitely the kind of environment you don't mind staying in after a long day of work travel.

I recommend this hotel as it is centrally located in Downtown Baton Rouge and so close to LSU, business and government buildings and highways. Loved having a view of the Mississippi too! The staff was so attentive. The room was very clean and great use of space. The shower was so refreshing after a some long days of flying and school tours. Highly recommend the restaurant and a nightcap! Now that my daughter has committed to LSU, I can hardly wait to go back.

This review is for anyone who uses a wheelchair who is considering staying at this hotel. The rooms are very small. I use a manual chair and a power chair. My power chair is currently parked in the roll-in shower because there is nowhere else for it in this room. There is barely room for me to reach one side of the bed. Every move requires some tight turns and going back and forth. There is an area rug under the bed that, though apparently tacked down well, adds to maneuverabiity problems. The bathroom, ironically, is quite large. I would recommend looking somewhere else for accommodations.

Staff were very friendly. Rewards Club recognition received. Snacks and drinks available, in addition to an on-site restaurant.
After check-in, received a text from "Samuel," inquiring if everything was OK with the room. First time ever that had happened at a hotel and very impressive and appreciated!
The decor was unique and tied in together nicely. Beds were very comfy. Several ports available where electronics could be charged. Book lights made into the headboards (1 on each side). Interesting pictures on the wall behind the beds, even had backdrop lighting on the backside of the beds which could double as nightlights if you wanted to leave them on. The retro mini fridge was adorable and the keurig coffee maker appeared to be either new or super, super clean.
We had a city view room across from the convention center but were still able to see the river. Bathroom was clean and walk-in shower was very nice. Body wash, shampoo, etc included.
Free shuttle service to the airport.
I would Def stay here again and highly recommend the Indigo in Baton Rouge, LA!!

Decent stay overall. Good location. Rooms nicely decorated. You can tell they’ve been renovated. As other reviewers mentioned, the rooms are very small … the queen sized bed took up most of the space… but you sort of expect that with a boutique-ish hotel. Bathroom had a nice shower stall and water pressure was great. Fitness center was adequate; cardio and a few free weights. Valet parking was $33 with in and out privileges.

My husband, dog, and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for us, with green space, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is super pet-friendly. The decor of the hotel is trendy and a bit whimsical, and the rooms were super clean and comfortable, including the bed and bathroom. We would definitely book this hotel again and we highly recommend it.

The room was very comfortable, and the location was quiet and close to the convention center, within walking distance. Very close to the historic original state capitol. Front desk staff were nice. The coffee pot is a new brand which I was unfamiliar with and had to watch a YouTube to figure out how to put the coffee pod in but all good otherwise....grateful there was a coffee maker in the room.||Only negative was that my room did not have a desk to work at in the room.
