Hotel Indigo Berlin - Ku'Damm by IHG

I had a lovely experience staying at this hotel during my recent vacation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern interior and the warm, professional welcome from the front desk staff. My room was located on a high floor and offered a beautiful view of the surrounding city. It was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, cozy lighting, and a spacious bathroom. I also appreciated the daily housekeeping, which was consistent and thorough. The breakfast each morning was varied and delicious, with options that changed daily. I particularly enjoyed the fresh croissants and seasonal fruits. The hotel’s location is perfect—walking distance to many great restaurants and landmarks. Overall, it felt like a home away from home.

Stayed for a week as we were visiting family. Rooms were of good size and had everything you would expect. The breakfast selection was really good. For me the staff were the best bit of this hotel. So friendly and helpful. We had an issue with a lost phone and not being able German speakers, the hotel staff helped us get the phone back. So grateful for everything they did to make our stay a pleasure

A reasonable choice for a quick stopover. The room was minimalistic and had everything I needed. Not much character, but clean and quiet. Internet worked fine, and there was a desk for working. Bathroom was small but clean. Breakfast was acceptable, mostly cold options. Staff were present but not especially warm or talkative. Overall, the hotel met expectations for the price point.

I stayed for three nights and throughout this time, the hotel team were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They clearly enjoy their job and work together well. The hotel is well-located for both public transport and the major sights, with a pleasant outdoor space at the back. Facilities are good and feel modern. But it’s the attitude of the staff that will linger long in my memory - creating such a happy and helpful environment, a pleasure to have been there.

Staff is really amazing , that all positive about the hotel. Room size for 150€ per night hotel , I would expect a toilet where I can move my leg freely without getting hit on woodwork, I had my working table up and that’s it , then you need to be an Olympic high jumper to get around room. Or really a athlete to squeeze pass the table and wallz photos attached,

I was in town for work and needed one night that the company had not booked for me. This hotel was around the corner from the hotel booked by work and I wish I would have stayed here the entire time. The location was perfect! Close to the train station and bus stops. There were excellent restaurants close by. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was a nice size and had everything I needed for my stay. I felt like this hotel provided much more than the more expensive one my company booked. My only complaint was that the only breakfast option was the buffet which I felt was overpriced, but was priced similarly to other hotels in the area so that is just the going rate.

We had a beautiful experience. The train station was a few minutes walk which was great. The hotel is very clean and the staff are super friendly. I would like to thank Reception, Laura especially for her help and recommendations! She is super sweet! Also Sarah and Anes! Always with a smile 😊 Breakfast was really nice also! The rooms are a bit small but very comfortable! There was cleaning everyday ! I did give this review a four star because even though there was cleaning, the floor wasn't cleaned and by the end of our stay there was a lot of dust. This isn't good if you have allergies! We stayed here for four nights as a city break in Berlin. The location worked very well for us. Trains from the BER airport stop at Zoologische Garten a short walk away. There are regular trains into the centre and a couple of u-bahn lines and another nearby at Uhlandstrasse not far away. It's also an easy 40 minute walk to Charlottenburg if that is on your list of visits. Each evening we ate nearby and had a good selection of restaurants around Ku'Damm.||The breakfasts here were pretty good with plenty of cereals and fruit and also a hot-to-order menu, although you do need to attract attention from a member of staff as everything else is self-service and they don't always come and ask if it's busy. ||Staff were friendly and we had good chats with those on reception, several times with Katherine who explained key things like the u-bahn strike and state funeral at the Dom. ||The bathroom was fine with a good shower. Berlin was really cold when we were there but the room heating performed well. We didn't use our balcony but if it had been warmer (or if we were smokers) it would have been good. The safe worked fine. ||Things to improve? A point to note is that for two people staying four nights, there isn't much storage space in the room. Four hangers isn't many. The two drawers were full of blankets / cushions. You have to leave things out or loose in the cupboard. Adding a couple of dressing gown hooks in the bathroom would help matters. There's a coffee machine but the tea option they give is two green tea capsules rather than say a green and a black tea which would have the advantage of showing what is available and providing a choice. The machine didn't seem to have a hot water only option (for use with the black tea bags available at breakfast). So here are a couple of ideas for easy improvements!||Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Good location, friendly staff and nice breakfasts.
