Great location if you want to be in West Berlin. Very close to all transportation. Rooms are nicely designed. Amazing bathroom. I just wish it was a real king or queen bed. It is two singles pushed together. Hard to snuggle. Keep falling in the hole! But the sheets are soft and the mattress is comfortable. Extremely clean. Amazing customer service.

What a pleasant stay! This hotel has a lot of little touches that make your stay great. I usually stay at Alexanderplatz when I come for Christmas markets, but due to points I had I decided to upgrade to a four star hotel in the Ku’damm area. First, the room itself. I had to do some work during my stay I opted for the room with a working desk which was large and chair quite comfortable. The shower water is immediately hot when you turn it on. The light switches are in just the right place on the headboard. There was a plug adapter already in one bedside outlet. There are plenty of outlets and complimentary still and sparkling water in the mini fridge. The room isn’t big but the space is efficiently used, with lots of ingenious drawers and cabinets, and the temperature controls easy to operate. There was an odd foot sculpture in the window. The hotel hung a Christmas chocolate lolly on each door for St. Nikolaus Day! |The highlight though is the breakfast. It is all so fresh, including oven warm rolls. You can order hot foods like bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage cooked to order and top off with the offerings on the breakfast bar. Place your order with the hostess checking room numbers. The orange and grapefruit juices are freshly squeezed and the coffee rich. There was even fresh ginger for your tea! The only thing that disappointed was the pain de chocolate, but that’s the case in most hotels. In December 2025, the breakfast cost 25 Euros, a standard price, but with all you get and the quality, it is worthwhile. |The location is good- two streets off the Ku’damm. It’s quiet but only a 7 minute walk to the Kaiser Wilhelm church, close to the Zoologischer Garten train station so it’s well connected to public transportation to get anywhere in the city. On the regional train, it is a 49 minute trip from the airport, a hour on the SBahn. The area has a lot of Asian and Italian restaurants but also a few of the most recommended German restaurants in the city.

A bit of an outdated / tacky/ cheap interior. But for the price and location, it's unbeatable. Nevertheless staff was extremely friendly, genuine, and helpful. The breakfast was also very fresh and good. For any business travellers this hotel is amazing, especially for the breakfast.

This hotel served as my base as I stayed in Berlin and traveled elsewhere in the country. Hotel Indigo’s check-in process was painless (I did most on the IHG App) and quick. My room had all of the amenities I could ask for as a traveler. I am big on bathrooms and one in my room checked all of the boxes. The hotel’s gym had all of the equipment I needed. The restaurant’s food was good. The hotel is a very short walk from the Zoologischer Station, which is served by most of the Berlin rail companies. The hotel is near tons of shopping and eating options. All in all, my stay at Hotel Indigo was wonderful.

Location? Top! Staff? Top! Room? Top! I don’t understand why people in the previous reviews criticize the rooms. rain shower, nice beds and excellent WiFi. We even had a balcony! Like come on folks. If you want a spa and a california king, then you will find them in the hotels down the street but certainly nowhere close to this price range. recommending Indigo for trips to Berlin from now on.

As a Diamond member, I like this excellent hotel. Its location in Berlin is excellent, with excellent front desk service. Special thanks to Mr. Nabil and Mr. Anas for their excellent welcome and kind treatment of me and my colleague. We had three rooms in the hotel this week.

I had a lovely experience staying at this hotel during my recent vacation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the modern interior and the warm, professional welcome from the front desk staff. My room was located on a high floor and offered a beautiful view of the surrounding city. It was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, cozy lighting, and a spacious bathroom. I also appreciated the daily housekeeping, which was consistent and thorough. The breakfast each morning was varied and delicious, with options that changed daily. I particularly enjoyed the fresh croissants and seasonal fruits. The hotel’s location is perfect—walking distance to many great restaurants and landmarks. Overall, it felt like a home away from home.

Google
Stayed for a week as we were visiting family. Rooms were of good size and had everything you would expect. The breakfast selection was really good. For me the staff were the best bit of this hotel. So friendly and helpful. We had an issue with a lost phone and not being able German speakers, the hotel staff helped us get the phone back. So grateful for everything they did to make our stay a pleasure

Yelp
Really liked this super funky, modern hotel. We stayed at the East Side Gallery Indigo the week prior. While that hotel also had a good location, this one just seemed to fit the artsy vibe of Berlin better. It's not a huge room by any means, but it's well organized for maximum efficiency. When we checked in, we opted for a free drink, which the young, friendly lady at checkin poured for us. She confessed that she was running the entire show for the night. We took our drinks up to our spacious veranda overlooking Berlin. Unfortunately , the rain chased us back in before we could enjoy it for long. We were also informed that the mini bar was complimentary. There was just one bottle of beer, but also a rhubarb drink, which seems popular in Germany. There was also a regular and diet coke and two waters. There's not a ton of value there, but it's nice when you've been traveling all day to just pop open the fridge to a cold drink that won't cost you six euro. Charging ports were plentiful and electrical outlets well placed on both sides of the bed and wherever else you really needed them. Bed felt luxe and was super comfy with nice pillows that didn't pancake like many others. Light switches by the bed to turn everything off. TV was medium-sized and oddly placed in a corner. There are lots of channels, but only a few for English speakers. The bathroom was bright and modern. Stepping into the shower wasn't super easy, but once you close the door, the rainfall shower was nice and hot with great pressure. Bath towels were some of the largest I've encountered, but not super luxe. Breakfast buffet had plenty of items to choose from from cereal to museli, a variety of breads and pastires along with fresh smoothies, yogurt options, cold cuts and cheese, hot scrambled eggs and more. They will even cook you eggs to order or pancakes, French toast, and sausage. Loved the fresh squeezed juices, such a treat. You will not leave hungry. It is a well organized buffet, and our server was very friendly and polite. Warning to Americans, milk and juices and kept cool, but not cold by our standards. Ask for ice, if needed. It doesn't come automatically. Overall, wonderful stay. Loved everything about it. There is a nice restaurant called Thai Elephant about a block and a half walk from the Indigo. Crispy Duck and Massaman curry were great.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite stays during my trip in Europe. You feel safe once you are inside the hotel. They do not give access to anyone unless you have a reservation or you are a guest. The hostess is really nice and helped us through our check in process, as well as asking for a time slot for breakfast (free ). This place is clean and well taken care for. Rooms were exactly as pictured 4 years ago. Since we are 4, we had 2 connected rooms. Room is modern and has very conveniently located light switches in your bed. The only thing I don't see is the USB ports for your electronics. You still need your big adapter to get juice. The room has a coffee machine and a fridge with beer and drinks in case you get thirsty. Breakfast was awesome. There were 2 young ladies very helpful and quickly bringing you anything you wanted. They offered omelet or any specialty coffee (cappuccino, macchiato, etc). The buffet had plenty of options, including juice, fruit, cheese, and bread. The location? Conveniently located within 5 minutes walking to the Zoologischer Garten Station. From here you can move around to anywhere you want. Overall, I'm loving this place!

Yelp
Oh dear! Having used this property successfully for a while, I now discover that it has an Achilles Heel - problems with comfortable room temperatures if the ambient is higher than seasonal expectation. Reason: they advertise "individual climate control" (implied 3 or 4 pipe, dual mode) but actually only have "seasonal cooling" (2 pipe, single mode). Which means that on warmer-than-average days where ambient has raised room temperature, no cooling is available, making sleep difficult (opening the windows produces a different sleep problem - noise from main road outside). What is it about segments of the hospitality industry that finds simple honesty so difficult? :-(

Yelp
Just as well I use Yelp and not Tripadvisor I had to laugh at the polite notice left on the hotel room desk. I'm paraphrasing - If you've had great service leave a Tripadvisor review, if not then please send us an email. Just as well this's not a bad wee hotel and in a fantastic spot, or I'd be straight onto TA. In fact our room was a tad small, but there's free WiFi for those who need it, the whole hotel is spotless and the staff are pretty darn friendly. What more do you need? Oh! Ask the staff not to clean your room and you get a £5 bar voucher - Can't be bad either.

Yelp
Well, located, with convenient walking to many attractions and mass transit. Very comfortable beds and rooms; the staff were super-helpful. A minor wifi issue was resolved quickly (well within an hour). I wasn't able to dine here because a previously-scheduled event conflicted with my schedule, but I would certainly consider it next time. My room had a large balcony with a table and two chairs (this would have been awesome to enjoy had the weather been warmer). I'd absolutely stay here again!

Yelp
As per the previous review, excellent boutique hotel in a great location. Staff are professional and competent. Only small criticism is the WIFI, fairly steady most of the time, to the point of being annoying.... All in all, would definitely choose to stay here again.

Yelp
Love this place. All about making you feel comfortable, while keeping you in touch with all the exciting places nearby. Last time I was there, they noticed I had left my phone behind. They tried to contact my traveling partner, and made arrangements to ship my phone back to the states. I would go back in a heartbeat. Excellent breakfast, lovely bar, quiet rooms, near shopping, restaurants, bars, train and tourist buses.
