Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre by IHG

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of our tour around Oz. Loved this place! From the moment we checked in nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff there - from reception to waiting and bar staff and of course the wonderful housekeeping team. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel was fantastic - it was a short walk to everything we needed - restaurants, shops, local buses and the quay side to catch a City-cat up the river.|The styling and decor of the hotel is very modern with some great artwork and flexible use of space. The breakfast room was spacious and calm and in the evening this space transformed into a classy little Japanese restaurant. We ate there and had a fabulous selection of small plates - delicious! |Thank you Indigo for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here for 4 nights and were really impressed with this hotel. The location is in a great spot. We hired a care from the airport and the hotel provide a discounted rate for a car park which is less than a 3 minute walk around the corner. We had a lovely welcome from the staff when we arrived and they continued to be really helpful throughout our stay. Their breakfast was good and I noticed they had gluten free choices. The room was quirky I really liked it, a tad small but the balcony was huge! Very impressed and would definitely recommend.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel right on the edge of the CBD, so everything is in walking distance - shops, restaurants, museums, etc.|Were pleasantly surprised when arriving quite early, they advised they had a room immediately available for us. A clean, comfortable room which had all the items you would generally expect. Would have liked a slightly larger room but must say the designer used the space available to maximum affect. Would have liked to have had a coffee machine in the room, save going to their bar in the evening, as no coffee places open in the evenings ( only during the day for workers!). We did utilize the gym which had sufficient items for a workout - must say the treadmill was quite unique, and maybe they could have some lighter free weights for the women - not everyone is a weightlifter and just wants toning!|The breakfast buffet was excellent - 3 or 4 options of cut fruit plus various yoghurts and multi choices of cereals and also bread to toast. Eggs to order plus a couple of options for hot sides - bacon, etc. Very much appreciated the barista coffee available on order.|We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay here again when in Brisbane.

After an eventful trip back from overseas, we had to find last minute accommodation at midnight. 5 stars just for the fact they had a 24/7 reception. 5/5 stars for the service especially that provided by Beau! You are an absolutely fantastic human and went above and beyond my expectations. Rooms are quite modern and so well designed and every detail thought of. Bed was very comfy. Location accessible. Overall, bit pricey but you get what ypu pay for. Thank you.

Great location for a quick getaway to Brisbane. Only a quick walk to the cultural precinct - and the hotel itself is rich in art and history. |The bar and restaurant are terrific - breakfast being the standout. It’s a healthy buffet with cooked-to-order eggs. The fresh juices were amazing. |Rooms are decorated with whimsy, style, and all the amenities you need for a comfy and easy stay. They’re very clean too.

Love the vibes and the service at Indigo Brisbane. Stayed one night and the reception staff, they are awesome! Very friendly and helpful! I forgot my sweater after I checked out, they quickly helped me to collect it from the room! Enjoyed their breakfast too. Chef has done a fantastic job. Nice spread!

Hotel is very convenient and is within walking distance to most tourist spots! We could easily come back to the hotel whenever we were tired after an activity 😃 Rooms are modern and comfortable with great amenities. We were most blown away by the service we received from Cody at the reception who not only communicated information clearly but also provided great restaurant recommendations! Highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Brisbane 😊

Easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Do not be fooled by the photos or the misleading description — this place is nothing like what it claims to be. From start to finish, it was a complete disappointment and a total waste of money. The staff were unwelcoming and rude, with zero interest in providing even basic service. We were made to feel like an inconvenience from the moment we arrived. The room was incredibly small — far smaller than advertised. The only window was tiny, offered no real light, and couldn’t be opened, which made the space feel claustrophobic and stale. For the price, it was shocking how cramped and uncomfortable everything was. Location-wise, it’s not what they promise. It’s not in the heart of the city as claimed, and feels completely disconnected from where you’d want to be. The hotel is also difficult to access — reception isn’t even on the ground floor, so you’re dragging luggage around just to check in. The car park situation is a complete hassle. It’s nowhere near the hotel, a solid 10-minute walk away. You have to go up to reception just to collect your pass, then go back down, drive to a separate location, and walk back. It’s the last thing you want to deal with when you’re meant to be on a relaxing holiday. We booked this through Luxury Escapes thinking we were getting a good deal — we couldn’t have been more wrong. It was so bad that we checked out after the first night and didn’t even bother staying for the second. Absolutely not worth the price or the stress. I would never stay here again and would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This place simply does not deliver on any level.
