As a dog mom of 4, it was fun that the first thing we saw after entering the hotel was Tripp laying on the rug. The hotel was beautiful and our room was clean and recently renovated. The front desk clerk Stephen was very nice and welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. This stay was definitely the best stay I have had at a hotel in a while. I would highly recommend this place and if we stay in Columbus again I would like to go back.

The front desk employee named Steven, was probably the nicest person to ever greet us at any hotel we have ever stayed at. Our room was very clean, nice decor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. One thing I really like there were plenty of towels. The breakfast is not a buffet, as you order off the menu. The breakfast was outstanding. There were many items to choose from. I ordered the avocado toast, it was delicious. My husband ordered eggs, crispy bacon, hash browns and toast, everything was delicious too. The breakfast was included with our stay. We will definitely stay here when we’re in this area.

Just spent a night here with my dad and could not have been more impressed with Hotel Indigo''s in general and this one specifically. As a Diamond member, we were upgraded to a better room (King Premium with a Sofa Bed), but asked the front desk at check-in to stay in our two queen room that we originally booked. Fortunately, we were in a recently renovated room that had a very large shower and comfortable beds. We gave the restaurant a shot at dinner and we both enjoyed our salmon entrees with some of the best fries I've had in quite a while. Breakfast (free for Diamonds) was also quite good with a tasty omelette and sausage and egg croissant sandwich. In addition, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel mascot, Tripp, one of the cutest dogs I've seen made quite an impression as well. Finally, the location was perfect for anyone wanting to experience the art and architecture of Columbus.

We were in town for a wedding and had a two night stay. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Having Tripp the lovely on premise dog was an added bonus. The bar/restaurant was comfortable and again friendly and engaging staff. We loved the style of the hotel, the colors are welcoming and areas to just sit are comfortable. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The downside for our visit was the construction. Although that being said, it didn't hinder coming and going and construction staff seem to keep everything contained. We would like to come back again once all rooms are finished. Location is great, you can easily get out and walk around. Restaurants, shops and the architecture in the area are worth the walk.

We had an incredibly satisfying experience at this hotel. The front desk staff’s kindness and service were truly exceptional. The adorable white dog, which felt like the hotel’s mascot, was absolutely lovable. The spacious and comfortable hotel room, the handwritten welcome card, and the delicious complimentary breakfast all made our stay even more special. The warm and slightly salty swimming pool and spa provided the perfect relaxation for our family. The salt in the pool water even seemed to have a beneficial effect on our skin. It was a truly delightful night, and we would love to visit again when we have the chance!

Great location, walking distance to everything!! The most comfortable bed that we've ever slept on and the service was above and beyond, especially from Steven (at the front desk, I hope that I remembered your name correctly) and Kim. We needed another night there and my husband called several times to see if anything opened up (talked to Steven every time) and Steven was able to find something, we want to thank you again Steven! Our stay there was VERY nice and enjoyed saying hi to Trip (the little "greeter") every time that we left or came back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

If you need to book a Hotel stay in Columbus, Indiana, look No further! Hotel Indigo is by far our 1st choice not only for its cleanliness & beautiful architectural & modern art features…..The manager Kim and her amazing staff , along with the Adorable Bischon Frise hotel mascot , provided Above & Beyond Customer service! Even sheltering us during a tornado warning in a central employee only staff area. They Truly care about each & every guest. The Architectural Hotel Indigo facility is modern, clean, and offers endless extra amenities! Cafe & Bar, Pool, Hot Tub, Fitness Center! The parking is very convenient! Handicap accessible just Steps away from the beautiful lounge & cafe entrance. It truly feels like a home away from home! I honestly can’t wait to stay here again! 10/10 recommend The fitness, swimming pool & spa hot tub are super nice! Optional outdoor lounge area weather permitting.

The updated room is amazing! Love the decor. The facilities are really well taken care of even in a remodel. Tripp the dog is pretty awesome, but the star of the show was the front desk associate Ariana! She was very welcoming and friendly. Helped answer any questions I had. She also helped my travel partner sign up for IHG rewards program! What an absolute GOAT of customer service. Thank you for the great experience Ariana!

Yelp
Definitely recommended. I didn't know what to expect when I booked the hotel. All I know is that the hotel was within walking distance from the ethnic expo. Ethnic expo was actually the reason why we went to Indiana. The hotel was small but clean. That's all that's matter to me. As soon as I walked in to the lobby, my kids were totally drawn to the dog residence there the dog is so cute. The staff were so nice and tried to accommodate me if I need any help. Maybe they just felt bad since I drove by myself all the way from Chicago with three teens The only thing that my kids cared was the pool. The pool was super small but it did the job The room was clean and was pretty big in my opinion for a deluxe. The only thing that I didn't like is that there is no microwave or a small fridge. We will be back here after the new year for sure.

Yelp
A solid choice for the area and great location! We stayed here for two nights while in town. Our room was super clean upon arrival and I really liked that it had laminate/fake wood floors - much better than some of the old carpet I've seen in similar hotels. The shower was spacious and we had plenty of towels. Parking was easy and convenient. The location is within walking distance of the essentials in the "downtown" area. Several restaurants and shop options are a block or two away. There is also a restaurant on site if you don't want to leave the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend staying here vs other comparable options in the Columbus area!

Yelp
What a great hotel in a wonderful town! We booked here based on location and price plus they are IHG. Had no idea how wonderful it would be. Room was spacious and the bathroom was oversized (including the large shower). Flooring is wood laminate and a welcome change. We had a balcony which was nice to sit and watch. Service extra friendly. And having Trip (the hotel dog) greet you was a treat. Restaurant onsite was excellent for breakfast. Walking distance to town (restaurants, sites, tours) and just across the street from Cummins. What a special place with special people and extra special Trip.

Yelp
My company recently enjoyed a 2-night stay at Hotel Indigo. I haven't been for at least 15 years but it was the same familiar feeling - bright colors, a resident dog, fitness center and indoor pool. It has 4 floors and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus plus snacks at the counter. Friendly staff provided breakfast in the morning for our large group (the yogurt parfait and McMuffin sandwiches were great!). They also took care of our night owls at the bar in the evening. Rooms were clean and my bed was comfortable. Plenty of space for me. I only struggled with the room temp which went from warm to cold but no in between. Drink vending machines are on each floor. Private parking lot and plenty of room. Would recommend this hotel to anyone in town!

Yelp
My credit card information was stolen. The women who clean the rooms are very friendly.

Yelp
I was traveling to Columbus for business and my corporation made the reservations. It seemed like a nice place, especially since it was an IHG propdrty. When I arrived at the front desk I waited 15 or so minutes for someone to appear to check me in. No one ever showed up, so I walked behind the counter into the management office and started hollering "Is anyone around" without a response. I walked back to the front desk and started hollering the same thing without a response. A person eventually came from the bar area to check me in. The next mornig when I woke up snd tried to take a shower to get dressed for my meetings, there was no hot water available. When I called the front desk, they had no idea what to do so they suggested that I check other rooms in the hotel to see if there is hot water. If so, I could use that room to take a shower, if I liked. My final issue with this hotel occurred when I checked out. The room was direct billed to my traveling agency but during check out they billed my credit card that was given to them for incidentals. I called the front desk from my office to request a copy of the bill so I could submit along with my expenses. A person answered the phone and after explaining what had happened, they hung up on me. I called back 20 times or more and no one would answer the phone. The staff at this hotel are incredibly incompetent and lack any sense of customer service, hospitality, or even hotel management. I will make sure that all future travel to Columbus, IN, for business that the corporate travel agency avoids that hotel for any future travel. I will also make sure that the organization that I do business with in that city is also aware of the incredibly poor service at that hotel. Avoid this place however possible!!!!!!! It's a shit show!!

Yelp
We love staying at this hotel. The staff friendly and they take care of the establishment. The bar and restaurant are fantastic (make sure to say hi to John).

Yelp
Booked one night stay for the hotel. We were traveling from Tennessee when, at 3:05pm, we get a phone call from the hotel saying they were overbooked and I did not have a room for the night. I had a confirmation on a non-refundable booking. Hotel did not give any assistance than to offer to call to see if their sister hotel had any rooms left after I called them back and then the staff member laughed on the phone. Had to stop traveling and scramble to book a hotel that still had a room on that Saturday. Would not book again, cause it's not guaranteed even if you have a confirmation.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel, and the location is great. However, the staff needs much more trying in hospitality and customer service. Sat with family to eat in banquet area and was told by a shift leader we couldn't sit here, even though a hostess said it's ok. It's Sunday morning... they are NOT busy! By the way, the area is part of the lobby. He was VERY rude. Then when we asked to speak to a manager, we were told, "He's right here, but can't you see he's busy?" Well, even with that, the manager never came to speak to us. We will NOT be staying here again. It costs way too much to be treated like this.

Yelp
This Hotel Indigo is now a "No-Go" for me. Let me share my story of the overbooked hotel that sends confirmation numbers for your stay but doesn't have a room when you show up. I booked a night at the Hotel Indigo Columbus while returning to Chicago after a family vacation. We decided to stop at the Outlet Mall near Columbus , IN. I booked the room and received a confirmation number using the IHG APP. We spent the afternoon shopping and then went to the hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel - I was informed they were overbooked and could not do anything. They informed me this happened to another guest just before my arrival. I am surprised with computer reservation systems that a hotel can continue accepting reservations without rooms to offer. After reading multiple reviews about this hotel overbooking - I think this is a sign of poor management at the hotel. This Platinum Elite IHG Member will definitely give the Columbus Hotel Indigo and Columbus, IN a one-finger salute each time I pass them by on I-65.

Yelp
Missing items and unpleasant staff. Not worth the stay when there are other cheaper options close by. Was treated poorly by staff and won't bother giving a second chance. Nothing was done for items that went missing when in hotel.

Yelp
This place rocks!! To the refreshing new lobby and rooms to the courtious staff. The location was splendid within walking distance to many bars, restaurants and shops in Columbus. Was not bothered by the many mentioned LOUD train noise. Yes it was loud but I think it is such a unique sound and it only happened 2 times at night. The bed was comfortable. Do not know what was up with the hight of it but I am 6 ft tall and I had a time getting on it ha ha. Oh one last thing a cute cute dog Miles has a home in the lobby. He was cute.

Yelp
The Indigo has a decent selection of food choices. The staff is friendly and does their best to give one and all a great experience.

Yelp
This hotel is in a great location and was absolutely beautiful inside. The rooms were very clean. And very modern. The breakfast buffet was delicious. My daughter especially loved the waffle making station. They have a cute little dog that sits at the front desk to greet guests. And they even have board games and puzzles in the lobby for kiddos as well. There I'd a train that goes by occasionally. You can definitely hear it but it didn't disturb my sleep or anything. I did notice the rooms don't come with a fridge like most hotels do. But I called the front desk and because I needed it to store breast milk they brought one up free of charge for me. I'd say honestly the only negative about this place is the insanely high beds. They are really hard to climb up in. Especially for short people or kids. I don't understand why they are so high. We were there for my sisters wedding and several other family members who stayed there mentioned how hard the beds were to get into as well. Overall it's a really nice hotel though. I'd highly recommend.

Yelp
Huge parking lot, I mean, possibly for 500 cars, but, can't park a vehicle here, even when returning in a week for another stay. We will not be returning for another stay, now, and the petty manager that decided this can suck it. The best park, is the holiday in across town was happy to oblige, and gave us a discounted room for our inconvenience.

Yelp
We had a most pleasant & relaxing stay at the Hotel Indigo in Columbus, IN. The check-in staff was very friendly & informative. The common areas downstairs are welcoming and great for socializing. You may want to be aware that this is a dog-friendly hotel. However, I did not see or smell anything about the hotel might put off the non dog owner. It was clean & our room, bed, and shower were all comfortable. Also, the hotel offers free parking; easy walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops, & bars; and they also offer a generous government employee discount. We are planning to come back in the summer to spend some time walking about exploring the area & to stay at this relaxing hotel again.

Yelp
A terrific hotel, with a kind, caring staff. The beds were awesome- I travel a LOT and the beds were top notch. Location is close to everything- you can easily walk to town. Breakfast was lovely and free. Pool area was clean and terrific, as was the fitness center. Bar had decent wines and beers, reasonably priced. We were here for a wedding and had a lovely time. Miles, the hotel dog was a hit as well!

Yelp
After years of coming to Hotel Indigo 2x's/year, I can confidently say I LOVE this hotel and always look forward to staying here. Walking distance to restaurants in downtown Columbus, Miles the concierge dog, fun, Haiku poems, funky, happy & contemporary decor throughout, fabulous workout room (I'm a fitness trainer), delicious menu of fresh & healthy food, comfortable & enjoyable bar, a small portion of hot chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla via room service (!!!), and Aveda products. Really, what's not to love?!!! The only reason I hold back the 5th star is because I can hear people in the hallways & sometimes in the room next door. On one visit, the room on the TV side of my room complained to the front desk that my TV was too loud at night & I hadn't thought the volume was up too much. Having said that, I have never been kept awake or been woken at night.

Don A.

Yelp
What a great hotel! Excellent service, exceptional clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Soft water! Will put it on my preferred hotel list. Convenient location and easy in and out of parking. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the restaurant is very limited in its offerings. Not bad, just few choices. On the other hand, you're just a short walk away friend Washington Street, which has several good eateries.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice little hotel. Seems to be up to Indigo standards, even if the town is not. Columbus is a very small town with not much else to offer beyond business meetings. Cummins and the other large businesses in the area primarily use Indigo as a hub for out-of-towners to be close to downtown and available for meetings and such. This is much nicer than any of the other hotels and motels in the area. Recommended if you want to stay locally.
google avatar

Jessie S.

Yelp
We wanted a hotel in downtown Columbus, so Indigo was the perfect (and only) fit. I loved the murals of local art and photography in the rooms and hallways. The funky colors and art made the whole place seem lively and cheery. The bathroom in our room was above the standard hotel bath - tiled, walk-in shower complete with shower stool, new flooring and fun, geometric wall covering. As I mentioned, we chose this hotel based on the location and it was indeed perfect. Once we arrived at the hotel, we didn't move our car until it was time checkout. We walked to dinner and bars afterward with ease. There was some nightlife to Columbus on a Saturday night, which made for a fun weekend away with friends.

Yelp
The staff could not have been friendlier, than you Ava and Lee Ann, among others, the cafe with Rachel as my guide to the local produce markets (Indiana corn is a must: try Hackman's)and who made me a great cup of coffee, the cleaning staff (Angelica)and the facility are fabulous. The only problem I had was with my 'high' bed, so I used the stool that was partners with the chair to leap on and off (well my 'leaping days' are over but...): the bed is very comfy so i guess I don't care that i'm short and the bed is tall. The soap, by the way, is fabulous: i hated to use mine, as i like to take these things home......i'm sure they would have given me another had i asked......
google avatar

Yelp
Had a great, all too quick stay. Our late night arrival was greeted warmly and our Golden Retriever loved the generous bag of treats she was given. Wonderfully decorated, very comfortable bed and spacious shower. The only problems I had were with the high bed and low profile toilet because of my mobility issues, but everyone else in my family loved both! I loved the quilt in the lobby!
google avatar

Rick H.

Yelp
Pretty neat, clean and modern hotel. Staff is very friendly and rates are reasonable. Right in the heart of downtown Columbus so everything is within walking distance. Pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. Its rare to find a clean hotel that is maintained anymore.

Olesya M.

Yelp
Very interesting hotel, the front desk and whoever works there are nice and helpful, adorable Milo meets you every morning in the lobby that just makes my day even better. The whole experience was great, accept one little thing that I hope the management will take into consideration, the shower had mold inside, as a professional cleaner with 15 year of experience I guess it's the first thing that I pay attention, maybe in such difficult times with all the virus, bleach will be a good remedy for disinfection and killing the mold and all the germs. Overall I had a great experience

Yelp
Ok. When you call and ask if the room is ready, and they say 30 minutes, and you turn up 80 minutes later, and the room is not ready -- BAD. FIRST. IMPRESSION. That and the canopy entrance is closed for painting. Not happy campers. However, the room was shortly available and it does not disappoint. Ask for a 2 room suite when you check in. So worth it. My only "next day" thought was: man, the train that came through Columbus at 2AM on the nearby tracks REALLY was blowing its horn loudly.
google avatar

Gary L.

Yelp
Pluses: Very modern furnishings with a Modern Euro Feel. Nice bar downstairs to unwind in and a cute poodle who greets you when you arrive. Clean and well kept property. Nice toiletries-soaps and shampoos. Quirky fishbowls and personnel statements around the hotel are kooky but distinctive. Both the Wall Street Journal and USA Today are available for guests. Limitations: Not very soundproof windows and with the postal mail handling facility next door and car street noise is prominent. Limited food choices in the surrounding area, and it can be challenging navigating around the numerous one way streets to find the hotel off the interstate. Breakfast is not included in the room rate (and at $150/night they should provide something at that price.) Internet service was slower than expected.

Jason B.

Yelp
Said they "upgraded"us to a suite, but wanted to charge us for it? We told them the normal queen room was fine. No mini fridges in the rooms. Charged my card twice. They have a dog that lives at the hotel, which normally wouldn't bother me, but he was begging while we ate dinner. Not impressed at all.
google avatar

Dan K.

Yelp
When we walked into the lobby of the Hotel Indigo with our dog, someone immediately came over to welcome us and to hand us a bag of dog cookies and a bottle of water. That was pretty much the Hotel Indigo in a nutshell: dog-friendly and human-friendly. The staff really bent over backwards to accomodate us and our dog, and I personally liked the decor. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Miles the hotel dog is a terrific ambassador, and I'm only sorry our dog was too nervous to play with him, despite his best efforts. We really enjoyed our stay there, and Columbus in general, and would go out of our way to visit both again.

Yelp
We had a great 4 night visit with family in Columbus and stayed at this Hotel. It was very comfortable, welcoming, and offered great services and extras. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. On the plus side: the pool, the staff, and the extras in the rooms (coffee maker was much appreciated). Opportunities for improvement: better food service, particularly breakfast.(The lack of full kitchen facilities limits their offerings). The location was great -- easy to find and near everything downtown.

Matthew T.

Yelp
My stay at the Indigo met every need, and then some. The room was clean and comfortable, the one meal I had in the hotel restaurant (breakfast) was quite good, and the wait staff were very friendly. The location is also great, making it easy to explore the city's amazing architecture on foot, which was the entire point of my trip there. But what put my stay there on another level was the hotel staff. They were incredibly attentive and helpful from the moment I arrived. Leanne, the general manager, saved me on multiple occasions, first picking up some items I needed from a local store, and later driving me to the pharmacy to get some medication (just as a huge blizzard was starting, no less). Made me feel like a family friend, to be honest, and reinforced my incredible impression of the community in Columbus. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This our 2nd stay at the Hotel Indigo in Columbus, Indiana. I would not go anywhere else. Well I did, and regretted it (I'm looking at you, Motel 6 and Hickory Shades!). The rooms have ample space to kick off one's feet and relax, whether it be on the high back chair and ottoman or the king bed. And the best part? No funky thousand year old funk that you might get at some other chains. Actually, the interior decor is a vast improvement over IHG's other stablemate, the Holiday Inn (Midtown Manhattan, I have you in my sights). Why deny the Hotel Indigo 5th star? The bar and restaurant are the hotel's Achilles' heel. Not having ginger ale, a staple for drink mixing, seems a little odd. Also, the dining options are limited (something else echoed by some other reviewers). If you're willing to drive 1.7 miles, there's the Lincoln Square Restaurant, a great place for breakfast.

Yelp
This is not the worst hotel but the worst Indigo Hotel I ever stayed in. Rumor is the franchise is really upset with how this hotel is managed. It's located in the middle of nowhere and no tourist will come here, it's only business travelers and the area is surrounded with business campus suburbs. Let's start with few good things: 1. Design is stylish like all Indigos. 2. Staff has been very polite. 3. Restaurant prices are not very high 4. There is laundry on site And now let's quickly move on to bad: 1. The wacky thermostat system that swings from 68 to 80 degrees at night. I set it to 72 and the actual temperature went up to 78. Then when it was set at 73 the actual temperature dropped to 68. Good luck waking up in puddle of sweat only to wake up freezing towards the morning. 2. Wi-fi is of very low quality. I am not talking about Netflix but just to load a website takes forever with several timeouts. I did the testing and the latency is between 2000 to 3000 ms with many packets dropped for those who are interested in this type of stuff. Obviously complaining to front desk has zero results. 3. The restaurant on site was out of smoked salmon all week long. The eggs in the morning are made of powder and you can definitely taste it. In fact I think everything is pre-frozen and then just microwaved. 4.Gym has this weird design with huge windows opening to parking lot right from your side and back as you exercise. No shades whatsoever. Hello creepers! 5. No robe. 6. No keurig but some ancient coffee maker. Not a good Indigo. Let's see if I manage to publish this review with the crappy wifi.

Yelp
We had a fabulous stay here! It's hard to believe this boutique hotel belings to such a large hotel chain. We had a one-night getaway and chose the Indigo based on location (and we had reward points to burn). We were welcomed warmly by Ruth at the front desk (along with Miles, the hotel's sweet puppy mascot). Ruth informed us we'd received a free room upgrade to an executive king (which includes a sofa). Score! She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She even went foraging for hot cocoa Keurig pods when we discovered our room was without on that chilly night. The room was wonderfully appointed and stylish, and we oooh'd and aaah'd over the bathroom. What can I say? A fancy bathroom makes my day, and I could have lingered in that shower for a while. Great water pressure! We slept well, which I can't always say for a hotel, and enjoyed a modest breakfast in the Gallery Bistro. The menu isn't extensive, but much of the fare is locally sourced, which we appreciate. All in all, I hope I have a reason to return to this cozy boutique hotel!

Yelp
I recently stayed here and found the rooms to be clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Would love to stay again

Yelp
Very standard Hotel Indigo. That isn't a bad thing though. A lot can be said about repeatability. So if you don't like modern, or large murals Indigo's are not the place for you. What I liked: The little dog in the lobby Compfy beds Roasted Red Pepper Hummas (yum) What I didn't like: My room kinda smelled like mildew.- although we used our in room coffee pot and it covered up the smell

Summer W.

Yelp
The rooms and people were nice but they don't even put a fridge or microwave in your room. Doing so, this forces you to spend $10 on a crappy breakfast Buffet that is not that good and doesn't have a large variety of foods. Like the eggs were powdered and spongey. The cleaning people stole one of our items and there was throw up in the hot tub. The room keys kept getting deactivated when we weren't keeping it near phones or anything. Overall not pleased with my stay.
google avatar

Jamie P.

Yelp
The place is great, modern, friendly staff, decent food. The problem is they are understaffed at night, I ordered room service and by the time my food got to me it was cold or burnt. It took a while to get the food as well. They did take care of the bill for the burnt food but they saw it before it came to my room when they put the lid on and decided it was okay to give a paying customer. All in all its a good place to stay but expect to wait a while for service after 4 pm. The thermostat is out of whack and it goes from hot to cold extremes. The wifi is AWFUL. Mainly business travelers stay here but it's within walking distance to the main area of town and you can find a variety of eateries and shops.

Yelp
If you want to re-create the scene from My Cousin Vinny whereas a loud train comes by every hour in the middle of the night, blowing its very loud whistle....this is the hotel for you!!!

Yelp
Hotel Indigo was very nice and very friendly. Miles the hotel mascot is absolutely one of the best mannered dogs I have ever seen. I liked that it was so open and the rooms were nice and very clean. When you add the breakfast for 2 to the room rate it is definitely worth it. The breakfast menu is really very limited but what they do have is very good. Also while talking with the front desk upgrades in rooms really are not that much. If the suites weren't full I might have upgraded. My only cons to the entire trip: 1. The walls are very very thin. I could hear the people next door and everyone in the hall. 2. Then whoever was running the kitchen that night made something that smelt bad and burnt it on top of that. That smell just lingered up and down the halls. It was horrible and with the gaps under the doors it came into the room and would wake you out of a dead sleep. 3. No refrigerator in the room. Strange.

Yelp
Really wanted to live this hotel as I love downtown Columbus, but it is a small town hotel w/ oversold "high end" rooms that are not really suites at all. Hotel invested in marketing but has not invested in details. Cafe person didn't know how to make a cappuccino and the front desk person didn't see why it might be a problem that the executive "suite" is on the side of the building hat is a busy road. Despite my arriving 3 hours before check in, they still couldn't find another room that was quitter and more appropriate for the "suite" price premium. The suite is really just a room w/ a king size bed and a cheap sofa.

Yelp
The customer service at Hotel Indigo is out of this world. I stayed there two nights and had forgotten my nail clippers. Briana and McKenna at the front desk were so helpful. They told me the closest place was about a mile and a half away. When they found out I didn't have a car, they spoke with the General Manager, Leanne. Leanne had some errands to run and offered to stop at the store and buy the nail clippers for me and bring them back to the hotel. I have never in my life stayed at a hotel where the staff would go so far above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. I will always stay here when visiting Columbus.

Yelp
Very nice hotel. Check in was quick and the guys were helpful. The room was big than I expected. They had a cd playing when u walked in your room, which I found nice. The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was decent size with a walk in shower. The restaurant has good choices and the prices are great. Overall id recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. The decor is very modern with a quirky twist. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was no noisy guests or unpleasantries. It is also within walking distance to nearby restaurants and bars which was nice as we were in town for a wedding reception down the street. The only downside was the front desk staff - we walked in and waited 15 minutes without being acknowledged while he finished a phone conversation before checking in. It happened again when we tried to ask for directions. Overall, a nice stay but staff could work on customer service skills

Yelp
As a huge fan of the Indigo in Atlanta, I was excited to find a home-away-from-home in Columbus, IN. The restaurant was graciously accommodating and delicious. My room was beautiful and couldn't have been more comfortable and well-appropriated. I will always stay at the Hotel Indigo when in Columbus!

Yelp
They advertised Hoosier Mama Bloody Mary and gave me V8. Are you kidding me? The service was awful. And the food was nearly inedible. Don't bother.

Yelp
Very nice "feel". Place smells like sunflowers. Liked the hardwood floors, very modern and "hip". Staff is friendly. No refrigerators.

Yelp
Everything was booked in Bloomington, IN on the day that we needed to be at IU. Come to find out there was fest going on that the closest available hotels are about an hour away, which turned out great for us as we would not have found this place! It's in downtown Columbus, 2 blocks from all the restaurants. The hotel had your non-traditional decor, hallways were so bright, and all the furnitures were like artwork! Friendly staff, too! We booked a room with a king size bed and they upgraded us to a king suite! The room had a foyer, balcony w/ patio chairs, 2 shower (yes, 2), water closet, Aveda toiletry products, dual sinks, robes and cotton slippers, comfortable pillows, and a keurig coffee/tea maker. Most comfortable place we've ever stayed at, and we'll definitely be back even though Indiana University is about a 45-55 minute SCENIC drive. By the way, we walked to a restaurant called Henry's Social Club (HSC), which will be in another excellent review!

Yelp
Great service, amenities, food, and Miles the hotel dog makes coming home after a long day that much more fun. Only two tiny drawbacks: slow elevators and the new password protected Internet makes you sign on each time instead of once every 24 hours.
