My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo Dallas about a month ago, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by several issues. Upon arrival, we were informed that we needed to put down a deposit ($100+), which we were told would be returned the next day. However, it took a month to receive our deposit back, and only after we followed up with a phone call. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak to the manager about the issue, we were told they were unavailable and never received a return call. During our stay, we visited the hotel bar and ordered a few cocktails. However, when we asked to see the bottle of rum listed as an ingredient, the bartender revealed that she doesn't actually use that rum because she doesn't like the taste. She then had to go downstairs to retrieve the correct bottle, mentioning that she hadn't wanted to make the effort earlier. We were drinking railed rum which is not what we wanted. We paid full price for all cocktails. Furthermore, our room was significantly smaller than the pictures depicted online, which was another letdown. After a long day of traveling, we were exhausted and didn't have the energy to address these issues. Overall, our experience at the Hotel Indigo Dallas was disappointing, and we hope that the hotel will take steps to address these issues in the future.

Although renovations were underway during our stay (not complaining, these things have to be done at some point in time) the staff went completely out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Special shout out to Dora at the front desk and Devin the supervisor on duty for being so thoughtful and inviting. This is an older, boutique hotel that has been perfectly updated. It is exactly what we were looking for and more than we expected. We will DEFINITELY stay again!

Very clean rooms. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. We were there for surgery at Baylor. Ir was a refreshing and relaxing night. Being right in town there was a little noise but we were expecting that. And the construction makes it a little difficult to get to the entrance. But now that we have been there, the second trip will be easier. Kuddos are hiring great staff.

We were attending a downtown wedding and wanted a hotel in walking distance. Hotel Indigo fit the bill so we booked. There is construction so finding valet was a but difficult but we did find it on the side of the builfing after a quick drive around the block. Our room was ready ontime! We were able to get ready in our room begore the wedfing. Some street noise but there are earplugs provided. Decent shower but not strong water pressure. Tasty breakfast by chef Shon. Pancakes, shrimp/grits, and an egg white omelet were excellent. We felt safe even being downtown.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was cozy and spacious, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The meeting space was well laid out, making it easy to conduct business efficiently. The staff were incredibly accommodating and nice, consistently exceeding my expectations with their helpfulness and professionalism. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays.

This hotel is located in a great location. The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Although there was construction going on, the noise wasn't noticeable inside our room. The park across the street from the hotel was an extra added convenience.

Super quiet room and comfy bed. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and always greeted us as we left in the AM. We did not dine in the hotel. Work out room was great and well equipped with what I wanted.

I had a good stay overall. It is a beautiful historic looking hotel, very clean. The issue I had was being woken up to construction sounds Sunday morning & having to have the TV on level 60 to hear it over the construction sounds (room next door, we were on the 9th floor). There were no signs nor did the person I checked in with the evening before indicate this would be happening the next morning. Honestly, the hotel should have made guests like myself, that construction would begin at (whatever time) the following morning. It was an unfortunate way to end our stay.

Yelp
My brother reserved the room so this is my opinion. I read reviews about needing ear plugs due to the noise but I didn't have an issue and instead used the complimentary ear plugs at a concert the same night we stayed. Other reviews talked about long bathrooms with plenty of room, uh not ours. I had to step into the shower to be able to open the door enough to exit the toilet/bathroom cubicle. The closet was way too big imo but perhaps this is why they are doing renovations and maybe why our view was (see pic) on a Sunday. The soaps and lotions are in refillable containers-fyi. The reception area is nice and offers refreshing lemon essence water. Oh the parking lot across the street is not included and if you park yourself and have to leave and come back be prepared to pay again. I had to leave to the concert and paid $10 that time. Came back around midnight and was out by 10am and paid another $15. You would think they could comp parking. So 3 stars for the bathroom size and the wack parking arrangement.

Yelp
This place has bad reviews but read this one if you're looking for an honest review! Me and my fiance stay here every year for Valentine's Day as a treat and go out and eat and we love this spot! It's a beautiful hotel and the staff and valet are always so friendly! You do have to pay for parking but the garage is right across the street and makes things so convenient especially in downtown Dallas, parking can be rough sometimes. The rooms! Everyone has stuff to say about rooms but we travel a lot around the country and the room rating is pretty high for our standards! The bathroom is amazing, full stand in glass shower with full sized nice smelling soaps, big area for women to put all toiletries, huge room with desk and idk if it's the normal but we always book a regular room and get a suite with seperate living room and tv pullout couch! The views outside are beautiful, your in Dallas! The noise can be a little loud but I actually like the noise from the streets, your in the city embrace it! They also supply earplugs with a sweet note if you don't like it. The maids we've interacted with were always super sweet to us. There's a cute little restaurant inside but there's tons to do within walking distance. We love staying here!

Yelp
One star because I can't give zero. Made a reservation over a month in advance for two rooms for a wedding. We repeatedly told them we needed one wheelchair accessible room. We were assured that everything was set. When we checked in we were told they didn't have any wheelchair accessible rooms!! The part of the hotel that did is apparently under construction. No answers, no help, no ideas. We even looked at a room to see if we could make it work. The bathrooms are NOT ADA COMPLIANT. You can't even fit a wheelchair into the bathroom!!! It's 6:30pm Friday night in downtown Dallas and we suddenly have nowhere to stay. Fortunately we called around and found another hotel and luckily got their last two rooms. This hotel is beyond incompetent and uncaring! Not a single ADA room!! How do you get away with that?!?!??!! This is unconscionable!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Courtney B.

Yelp
Very close to a lot of great amenities. Definitely check out the Cajun place nearby. We opted for valet which they use the parking garage across the street but the perk is being able to come and go as many times as you want for a low fee and it comes out of the incidental deposit you pay at check in. We had a great view of the city and several places were nearby or within walking distance. It was a good location for a Dallas weekend trip. Decor inside was fun and the room had a nice feel to it. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Yelp
This hotel is very good for all downtown dallas needs. Within walking distance to many of the downtown restaurants. The staff is very nice and always willing to help. The one thing we had an issue with was the house keeping the first few days. They either did not come or the job the they did was sort of half a$$. We had to ask for some very basic things like toilet paper. And one day it took them 24 hours to bring what we ask for 3 times.

Yelp
Another fantastic IHG property! This hotel is obviously quite old and still a very beautiful building. Walking in the front doors, I always look forward to experiencing the uniqueness of each of these properties. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the comfortable lobby and the openness of the very large dining room; it was very well designed. Lots of natural light makes this hotel lobby a comfortable and energetic place to sit, relax or converse. Although the separated business center off the lobby is very useful, I could imagine it being used as a lounge with live music to really bring that lobby alive like I have seen in other IHG properties. Although the rooms are modern and extremely relaxing, upon walking in you can't help feeling the dated warmth this wonderful old building has to offer. With Coffee and Tea at the ready and a mini fridge you can't help feeling right at home. The location is ideal for easy walking to everything the area has to offer and there are some exceptional restaurants and bars nearby. Cheers!

Yelp
Awful experience! Stayed here for 3 nights and my room was 85 degrees, even changed rooms and they claimed the whole hotel was experiencing this. It was 90 degrees out, absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't spend a penny on this place, find somewhere better.

Yelp
Nice room; swift check in; great location - near the Majestic Theatre (restaurant could use some morning personality; breakfast was nothing to write home about.

Yelp
Genuinely one of the most unpleasant hotel experiences I have had in a while, which was so surprising to me because this is definitely billed as more of an upscale hotel. I can confirm what another commenter said- the walls are PAPER thin. We heard a man in the room next door to ours hacking up phlegm all night, which was just disgusting. The rooms are serviceable but small, and amenities are really lacking- they do not have shower gel, so we got one tiny shampoo and conditioner, and one bar soap for the entire room (I guess to share between the shower and our sink?). The restaurant also seemed to have odd hours. I also felt that service was very lacking. Currently, the policy is to specifically request housekeeping. Due to a miscommunication we were not aware of that- which is understandable, but when we called down to still request housekeeping services, the woman at the front desk was totally unsympathetic and said it was almost certain that no one would be able to make up our room. It actually did get made up, but- I am not exaggerating any of this- housekeeping took away the extra towels we had brought up to our room, left us with fewer amenities, and THREW AWAY MY RAZOR. This was not a disposable razor! I was honestly shocked. During another day, I called down to request towels, and they never came up. There is honestly just a general vibe that no one working there cares at all. I would not stay here again and would not recommend staying here.

Jessica H.

Yelp
The ladies at the front desk were not very personable or helpful, however the valet driver was incredibly great. He gave us plenty of options on places to explore while we were in town. The room was decent, but the blanket smelled really bad!! Overall hotel was nice for the price, but probably wouldn't book again!

Yelp
This is an Econolodge dressed up as a Marriott for halloween. I spent an hour trying to call the front desk to ask about parking on the way in, they never picked up the phone. They told me there was a $40 charge for parking when it should've been free. They don't honor the Fedroom benefits. The front desk manager and staff could care less about trying to fix the problems. The rooms are OK, not amazing, but fine. The staff really seem to just not care about your experience or helping to answer basic questions.

Yelp
November 2021 - COVID Review: I had to visit Dallas for a work trip and one of my friends wanted to accompany me so that I wouldn't be alone in the city. We thought this hotel was in a good location - which made it walkable for the whole downtown strip and Deep Ellum was a quick 15 minute walk too. It is considered to be a boutique hotel so our double queen room was actually really tiny. When we first entered the room, the first bed was so close and there wasn't much room to move around or have space for our suitcases. The bathroom was actually somewhat spacious and long though. My main complaint was that one of the days during our stay, we got a notice that water would be unavailable for about 4-5 hours in the middle of the day. While this is understandable since most guests would probably be out sightseeing during that time, we actually had to telework from our hotel room and would actually need the water. My friend asked the front desk during that window if the water outage affected the entire building or if it was only our floor. The staff actually wasn't even aware that there was a scheduled water outage and suggested the public restrooms on the 2nd floor. It would've been nice to know as a guest what our other options were for using water and the restrooms on the notice - such as how there's restrooms on the 2nd floor that were unaffected by the water outage. But otherwise, all of our staff interactions were nice.

Yelp
Walls are SO THIN, you can hear people talk. I wouldn't be surprised if I can hear people whisper through it too. I felt like I didn't have much privacy knowing others can hear my in room conversations. The trucks outside make so much noise overnight that I kept hearing them all night and hated not being able to sleep. I couldn't rest. You WILL hear anyone walking down the hall or dropping their luggage down in their room. Friday night was really bad for me as I heard partygoers running , laughing, and tackling each other. I woke up startled, thinking they were fighting. Nope, just people passing by. Location and parking were great and convenient! Room is medium size, not really big. There was no view from window,it just faced other buildings. Check in staff was managing too much at once (one person working only) but friendly. I came in through the locked side door on level 2 and was so confused how to get in because they need to buzz you in. After ringing the bell, the front desk who came up on the speaker hung up on me. It was a weird first impression. I stood there thinking what am I to do. Eventually I rang it again and they let me in.

Yelp
I travel weekly for work so I guess it's safe to say I have stayed at a good amount of hotels. I made a list of pros and cons. COMFORTABILITY: Cons: Loud as Heck! The building is old so they haven't updated much, long due for new windows. You hear all the street noise and the cars racing by, also the birds go to the park next to the hotel to sleep and you bet you hear the MOCKING BIRDS screaming all morning. Ohh and top it with how thin the walls are. Pros: None ROOMS Cons: Tiny little box rooms with outdated 32" flat screen, no streaming. BED comforter is so scratchy, bed is gotta be from 2007. It's mushy and no support. PILLOWS are dusty smelling and very cheap polyester pillow cases. THE AC sucks so bad. No consistent fan option. So it kicks on every 2 seconds and wakes you up. And if you turn up more then 2 click the heater comes on to make that exact temp. OUTDATED THERMOSTATS just to save them money. Has motion sensors so when you leave and come back you room is HOT. Pros: bathrooms isn't that bad, at least it has a stand up shower. HOSPITALITY : Cons: Front desk doesn't have spoons, forks, knifes, earplugs, or tooth paste. Pros: valet guys are nice, servers at the restraint were very kind and breakfast wasn't bad. Funny note: I was at front desk and I heard another gentleman talking to a valet guy (night shift) and I overheard the guest say it was very noisy and word for word the valet guy said " Let me tell you a tid bit, This here building is historic and we don't update justice building so I recommend you get some liquor if you need to sleep" the guy literally laughed and walked off. Only 3 more nights in this place, wish me luck

Yelp
I recently attended a conference in Dallas and stayed at Hotel Indigo. I had to write a review and compliment their entire hotel staff for making my stay so enjoyable. I especially want to thank Lazarus the hotel manager, Tamicka and Ianna at the front desk and Denise from the hotel restaurant. From the moment I arrived and was assisted and greeted by the bell man to checking in at the front desk the entire staff treated me like an old friend coming to stay at there home. My room was amazing and breakfast daily was delicious. It is in a great location too !!

Yelp
Convenient location. Seemed busy. Insulation/ soundproofing was dated. Don't Mess With Texas D. B.

Yelp
My daughter and I stayed for two nights this weekend. The home is really pretty. The front desk staff is very nice and the restaurant food was very good. Rooms are very clean. Our first room was great and had a nice view but the toilet didn't flush so they gave us a new room on a lower floor, and no view. Both floors were very noisy. The first floor we stayed on had a group of girls staying for maybe a bachelorette weekend and they were loud and partying in the halls, back and forth from each room. The second floor we stayed on, there was a constant smell of weed in the hallways, and we woke up to someone banging on another door and when it was opened they proceeded to yell and argue so loud it scared my daughter. There was a cup of a green beverage left outside our room door in the hallway.

Yelp
The Hotel Indigo in Downtown Dallas is a great place to stay! It is on the eastern edge of the central business district, close to the Farmer's Market and Deep Elum. The property is very historic, having been one of Conrad Hilton's original hotels. It has been nicely renovated, and now has a very modern interior. The Hotel Indigo has Tiche's Bistro in the lobby area, which is a great place to have breakfast! They also serve other meals, as well as drinks. There is a useful business center just off the lobby in case you need to do some work. There's a large park on the south side of the property, and a small parklet on north east corner. The rooms are comfortable, and gave great walk-in showers. Many have nice views of the downtown lights. The staff are always helpful and accommodating. So, if you are planning on visiting downtown Dallas, the Hotel Indigo can be your base of operations.

Yelp
Got a room to celebrate a joint birthday with my best friend this weekend. We absolutely loved it and will be having more staycations at this location in the future. Appreciated the hand sanitizer by the elevator buttons and entrance during the time of covid. Affordable, beautiful, and cozy. Wonderful and friendly staff. I also loved the poster in the lobby about the history of the building!

Yelp
I stayed at Hotel Indigo Dallas Downtown recently when I was in town for business and I really enjoyed my stay. It was near a DART light rail station, which sometimes is not an area you want to be in, but I felt very safe in the area and using the public transportation. I enjoyed walking the area around the hotel, it's in the business district downtown, so there are lots of high rises and some restaurants in the area. When I first walked into the hotel, I immediately noticed how friendly the concierge was. I ended up chatting with them for a while and getting their recommendations on what to do in the area. Since it was a Wednesday, they also gave me two free drinks to redeem in the hotel bar at evening at Wine Down Wednesday. They also allowed me early check-in, which I really appreciated since I did not have a vehicle in town and had nowhere to keep my luggage. I stayed in a queen suite, which you can see in the pictures shown. The floor plan resembled an apartment with an entryway leading into the living room with a couch and TV. On the side of the living room was the bedroom and inside the bedroom was the bathroom. I really liked my room, I felt like I was living the life in a fancy suite lol. I attended Wine Down Wednesday that evening and redeemed my two drink tickets for a glass of chardonnay and a Sam Adams Octoberfest. It was held downstairs at the bar where there was ample seating and lots of outlets, so several people were working on their laptops while drinking there wine. There was a guitarist playing music as well. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Indigo to others.

Yelp
This hotel was a great location and very clean. We had honestly probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hotel here last night. The hotel itself is loud. Very little sound insulation, gaps under the doors to the room, etc. There's is a ton of street noise which I can deal with, but we were next door to a LOUD group of girls who were playing music loudly all afternoon and screeching loudly all night. I have never in my life made a noise complaint at a hotel but I had to call down multiple times to ask them to do something about it. I realize you can't MAKE someone be considerate or be quiet in a situation like that, but even my request earlier in the afternoon to move rooms was met with "well they just left... they just walked past me in the lobby so it shouldn't be a problem now." Well is was fine at that point, until they came back and they were so loud they woke us up coming down the hall and continued to be so loud I finally had to call down to the front desk AGAIN at 1:45am. Not sure how multiple complaints of continued noise issues can be met with inaction and not caring about the OTHER guests these ladies were disturbing. The situation could have been addressed or handled many ways that would have been fine, but instead it seemed to be largely ignored or not followed up on.

Yelp
This hotel looks nice on the outside, but leaves a lot to be desired on the inside. Overall, it was fine as a place to shower and sleep, but I wouldn't recommend it for a business or vacation trip. Pros: - Great downtown location - Lots of TV channels in the room - Comfortable bed - Friendly staff Cons: - No free parking ~ Must park on street/garage or pay $25 per day. - Tiny room (king size) ~ The bed is three feet away from the door. - Thin walls ~ Could hear a dog barking in a room down the hall. - Small shower and bathroom ~ 6ft tall boyfriend had to duck down to wash his hair. - Broken electric plug ~ Socket would push in to the wall when I plugged things in. - Poor view outside of window - Wifi wouldn't connect

Yelp
Stayed there on a Saturday. I was able to check in early at around 1230 in the afternoon. Room was small but was really nice. I lovE the fact it has no carpet. I also love the shower head, it was one of tHose hUge shower heads . Room was extremely clean. The coffee served here is inexpensive and really good. If you stay here save your money before you go out and get coffee some where. Staff is friendly and very helpful. My only problem I had was when I woke up around 3am to use the bathroom and saw my bill on the floor. I opened the bill and almost had a heart-attack because I saw I was charged $4,278 dollars for my valet. Well I wasn't able to go back to sleep, so I myself dressed and went to the lobby at 3am. The lady at the desk was very helpful. When I showed her the bill , she stated " how did that happen?" She took off the charge and gave me a free breakfast in the morning for my troubles. I highly recommend their French toast with sausage! I was also aable to get a late 1pm check out! Would definitely stay here again . LovEd the staff from the valet , desk clerks to the waitress all were A+++++.

Yelp
If you ever want a case study of how to not make money as a hotel, come stay here. We were part of a wedding party that selected this hotel for their wedding. First the good: the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, the showers were hot. Jose and Felix in the bar and restaurant were hands down the highlights of the hotel, friendly and helpful at all times. Now for the bad: the rooms are very very small, one of our rooms had two double beds and barely room to get dressed. the rooms were OK, but the painting and finish of the rooms and hotel was a little rough. there is no pool or really any entertainment at this hotel other than a small bar. the staff at the front desk were hit and miss, sometimes they could be helpful, but sometimes they were just flat out rude and acted like we were bothering them for common requests like "where are some good restaurants". the hotel was booked for the weekend, so they knew it was going to be a full hotel, furthermore they knew it was at least one wedding party that would need the type of assistance wedding parties typically need. the night of the wedding, saturday, about 40 people from the wedding party came down to the bar for drinks, there was one bartender working on a saturday evening, most of the wedding party got tired of waiting for a drink after 30 minutes and departed for elsewhere. those that stayed got one drink in the 60-90 minutes we were there, eventually everyone got frustrated and left. sunday morning as everyone was preparing to depart and needing breakfast, the restaurant was overwhelmed with 3 tables. as all 40-50 guests arrived in the restaurant, things ground to a halt, the 30 people in the restaurant waited well over an hour to get food, our table had about 15 people and we waited a full 2 hours from the time we sat down to the time our first food was served. we sat down a little after 9am, food was served a little after 11am and we were finally out of the restaurant by 11:45am, to say it was a disaster was an understatement. i watched the line into the restaurant form to about 15 people and then the waiter finally walked over and told them they would not be seated. we were able to catch the hotels van to dinner on friday night, and were given a card to call for the reverse trip, (the driver was tipped $25 for a 5 minute drive to the restaurant). no one answered for the return trip, so we had to uber back in groups of 4 from dinner. then on saturday morning we took the van from the hotel to the dallas aquarium, another 5 minute drive. we were given the return trip card again, and called multiple times, with no answer, we ended up just walking back from the aquarium with our kids. the whole weekend was like watching a slow motion train wreck at this hotel. if given the choice, find somewhere besides an IHG property for your next stay.

Yelp
We stayed here for one night after a week in Napa. The location would be great for exploring downtown Dallas. We had stayed n some pretty luxe places in Napa so the lobby of this hotel was quite a disappointment. It looked a little beat up but they were painting so maybe improving. Our room was being painted when we got there, the guy was still in there but he said nothing was wet , so in we went. The room was nice, kind of boutique with a more modern decor feel. It had a little living area with an Ikea type sofa and a large desk. The desk was odd because it had no plugs for your laptop, or ports for charging. The bedroom was great. Nice big bed that was super comfy with really pretty decor and great block out curtains hidden behind pretty draperies. The bathroom was big and had lots of towels. It was pretty but was oddly lacking any trashcans. All in all it was nice.

Yelp
I booked this hotel through IHG and when we arrived the "general manager" informed us that the system to sign in for our room was down. We waited in the lobby for nearly 2 hours while trying to reserve a room at another hotel. During that time the "general manager" who was working never came to let us know the system came back up so we could sign for our room. Horrible customer service and management at this location!

Fancie L.

Yelp
I had a two bed room. Luckily I got a larger one than my colleagues, who complained about narrow size room. My room had a desk by the door with several yards in between to the bed. The path towards the bathroom was good. They had a mini refrigerator which got a little too cold. The closet was tucked in the bathroom. Since most people don't use hotel closets it was fine IMO. Aveda products, comfy beds fluffy pillows and a great night sleep. It was clean except oddly when I returned to the room, there was a shower puff that wasn't mine in the toilet tank and supposedly poop that wasn't ours The staff comped me for the issue but it was disturbing Hotel They offered cold water and sweet tea sometimes in the lobby, a computer, and printer for boarding pass ,a shuttle for a 3 mile radius and a great service from manager and front desk. The down side is the shuttle never answers so no pick up service and no pool. On a hot day in Dallas I expected a pool so I was disappointed. The location is boarding downtown and deep ellum. I walked into deep ellum. The half mile from across the street to under the freeway before approaching deep ellum is sketchy. The 7.11 across the street is the smallest scariest 7.11 ever. The hotel across the park has a great view and rooftop pool

Yelp
The only things that were nice about the hotel is the decor and location. *Beware of your safety: I made a reservation to stay at this hotel. While I had a guest meeting me upon my arrival, my guest arrived first. Upon their arrival, they went to the desk, presented their ID, and the hotel front desk provided them access to my room. I did not receive a phone call or any notification of this information. When I did find this out, the manager AND General Manager avoided speaking with me and I was there for an entire week! Room: Nice decor. Beds were hard; however pillows were of quality. AC was loud when it turned on. Location: Good location. It's one block from 7 Eleven.

Yelp
It took me a lot of planning to get the right hotel in Dallas. I spent hours reading reviews and looking at pictures. It had to be the right distance from downtown life. After many hours I finally found one. It was "Hotel Indigo Dallas Downtown." A luxury hotel with many amenities. It had a restaurant, gym, and great reviews on Yelp. Now all there was to do was book it and wait. Fast forward to September; five months wait to see if the hotel lived up to the expectations in my head. I am happy to report, it does! The front desk is on point and completely available to help, housekeeping is thorough and proud of the work they do, and the building is amazing. I asked the concierge if he could recommend a good spot to eat and he recommended the restaurant in the building. I figured why not. I was hungry so let me try. After dropping off my luggage, I went down to eat. The bartender was very polite and quick with the order. She only seemed happy when she was helping. I asked for a seltzer however and found out they don't call it seltzer in Texas. They know it by sparkling water. So I asked for water instead, because I didn't understand that right away. When the food came out and it was time to eat, I admired the Texas size portions they serve. There's no small in Texas for sure. And there's definitely no one slice of cheese. They went crazy with it and I didn't need to ask for extra. The omelette was incredible. I never believed hotel food could be that good. Even the home fries were crunchy, hot and delicious. After breakfast I went to look at the gym. You can only get into it with a keycard, and it's open 24 hours. I was happy to hear that as well. This hotel is by far one of the nicest I've stayed at. It's proof that the people of Texas are as warm and inviting as the state advertises.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel and beautiful room. We were upgraded to a suite and we loved it! The hotel was clean and the suite was very comfortable. The hotel doesn't do the shuttle (will take you a 3 mile radius) from what we asked due to covid. Also, due to covid the housekeepers only come if called by the guests and we had to leave for a few hours. There is a parking garage right across the street that you can park at or you can valet. Great stay!

Yelp
The front desk staff was so kind. Tasha was so helpful and made sure to make my family and I feel welcomed. We had a wonderful stay.

Yelp
Nice clean room, however the loudest hotel I have stayed at, ever. I felt like I'm on the main strip of Vegas except with no insulation. Since we are traveling with a baby, we are super disappointed in this. We will not stay here again.

Yelp
This review is based off the restaurant. I came here to meet a friend for breakfast. I ordered the french toast and scrambled eggs on the side. I was glad they had orange juice with no pulp. My food was good. Took forever for the food to come out. The girls i was with mentioned stale muffin and cold potatoes. A female (manager possibly) helped them out but i had no complaints with my breakfast. Syrup was great and they gave me enough. Other than that i feel the food of course is over priced. Our waiter was very nice but took a long time to come to us. He apologized and might have been the only waiter working the area. Oh there isn't any parking. There is a garage right across the street and its $2 for every 20 mins and the max is $12/day. They have valet but its $12. So I parked in the garage and paid $5. The lobby was nice and clean.

Yelp
Hotel Indigo worked perfectly for us. We were able to walk around the surrounding areas. I enjoyed the room - a king suite with a view of the Texas State Fair. The room was very comfortable and clean. All the staff was courteous and helpful. Best yet a shuttle to the fair! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Yelp
When we first checked in .. they put up in a king room... when you opened the door it's stopped by the bed...(that tells you how small it was)we asked for another room which they accommodated at no extra cost.. a queen suite...which is really nice and was perfect for my fiancé and I. They do provide WiFi and have a full bar downstairs which was nice as well. Most of the staff were very friendly and even let us take our engagement pictures inside the hotel! Huge plus for me! The complaint I have is with their extremely slow valet service and the customer service at night. When we would get back to our room we had to wait for them to come outside! 1 night we waited 7 mins! (Yes I counted) the bar supervisor which I only saw my last night there wasn't nice as well. She walked up to me asking "are you waiting on something" when i was watching to see how long it would take for valet. Overall my experience was ok... but I lm a stickler for customer service so because of that I WONT BE BACK.

Yelp
First impressions make a huge impact, valet was amazing, great sense of humor and a personality. Check in was smooth, easy breezy, the gentlemen who checked us in was friendly and even gave my friend a complimentary drink bc it was their bday. Where it went south is here... We arrived in the room, a late check in too. There were no toiletries, no soap was the biggest issue at this time. That bugged and burned me without belief. After that became an annoyance over EVERYTHING. The fact our AC was not working and I was smothering hot and there is no ceiling fan for ventilation. The toilet is super loud and annoying and you have to hold the handle down for a long time to have a flush. ( I understand this is common with older plumbing systems ) But the sound lasts for too damn long, that you gamble, and question to flush or not. * That was actually pretty ridiculous. ‍ The bed was supposed to be a queen. It's like a small full sized mattress. Also it was a suite, I thought I would get more room. Go ahead and delete that thought. It was like a New York sized apartment, but outdated. This place is not cute at all and I would never stay here again. Oh and to top it off!!! After asking the front desk staff for a bar of soap and they acted like I was a HUGE inconvenience and, they were very rude in the process of finding us a damn soap. Wth??! This place has a good location, but I'd rather pay for Quality and have consistency.

Yelp
If you're not cashing in IHG points, I'm not sure why anyone would stay in this dump. They fail at an attempt to be a cute boutique hotel. Instead they're a hipster infested dorm room. Two stars solely for the first shift desk girl, and the doormen. They rock, and deserve to be recognized. As far as the night staff- they're useless, especially the bartender who spoke in broken sentences, and some sort of gibberish. All of them were rude, and exude a screw the hotel guest demeanor. Do yourself a solid- spend the extra fiddy, and stay at Le Meridien. If you're a baller, go down the street to The Joule. You're better than that!

Ron L.

Yelp
Originally I was going to give this hotel one or two stars. I am platinum with IHG and while I was recognized for my status, there are no perks at this hotel. No upgrade, no lounge, no free breakfast, no free bottles of water and a room not much larger than the queen size bed in it. Okay, I did get my 500 check-in points, but that's it. However, Ken at the front desk is very friendly, the room is clean, and is pretty quiet -- not like other reviewers have said. As a celiac, I poop different and as one review said, the toilet definitely has a problem with solids and I had to flush three times so I wouldn't leave any surprises for the housekeeper. Next time I am in Dallas, I will not stay at this hotel, but will check out the Hilton (which looked very nice when I was at a party there), the Hilton Garden Inn, or a Starwood property.

Yelp
I was torn between giving 2 or 3 stars for this boutique hotel. We traveled to Dallas from Philadelphia for the weekend. Upon entering the hotel, the doorman used his foot to kick open the automatic button to open the main door. This laid back, chill attitude seemed to describe most of the staff we encountered. At check in, Lona informed us that our reservation (made on hotels.com) showed two separate reservations for each night. She managed to correct this and sent us up to the 6th floor. Upon entering the room, we noticed the temperature of the room felt very warm. We left the room for a few hours to have lunch and explore the area. When we came back the room was 86 degrees and would not allow us to adjust the temperature. We had to call Lona who sent up a technician. The repair was not a simple fix. A maintenance worker care in to access the wiring above our shower as the other worker dismantled the thermostat. All of this happening as we awkwardly sat in the bedroom watching TV. We were alas offered another room to move to, as well a complimentary breakfast. Our next room was on the 5th floor, right off the elevator. The good news is you could not hear any of this elevator noise from the bathroom or bedroom. Other reviews of the hotel are consistent with our thoughts. Very well done aesthetically. Beautiful plum decor throughout and the hotel was decorated for Christmas. The gym was small but met our needs. On our second day, housekeepers failed to clean our room. We were out of the room for 6 hours that day and again from 4 pm until 10 pm. We had to track someone down for clean towels and empty our garage. I just feel the vibe of the employees was way too laid back and the young staff can work on their professionalism.

Yelp
The room was nice & clean, my biggest issue was we requested a king bed & they "complimentary upgraded" us to a suite with a queen bed. when i called down to ask about it, the person just kept insisting this room is better & how it was a complimentary upgrade so i should stay there. they also mentioned there's only 1 king bed on every floor, which made me suspect they just gave my room to someone else & were trying to convince me to stay in this room. Also it was a little inconvenient the room didn't have a microwave. I'd rather have that than a coffee maker. Also be warned they charge $31 per day for valet parking, theres a parking lot across the street & we payed $20 total for 2.5 days.

Jan D.

Yelp
Very unsafe valet parking, no way to pull in anywhere to do it, it's right on the street which is very busy. The rooms are uncomfortably small. Won't do this again.

Yelp
Overall, I just wasn't impressed. First of all, the elevators were ridiculously slow. We had to take the service elevator several times because the regular elevator just simply never came. The walls are extremely thin, so thin that I could hear every word of conversations in the room next-door. The cleanliness was just so-so, and the housekeeping crew took our coffee mugs out of the room and never replaced them. Not good when you have an early flight and really need that first cup of coffee to get moving. And the thermostat in the room is apparently motion activated. Even when we set the temperature low, it would re-set in the middle of the night & we'd wake up in a sweat. The bar was OK, and the bartender staff were very friendly so I would give them a plus for that, and the food was decent. The beds were comfortable, but the bathroom was very tiny. It was ok, but honestly, I think you can find a better option downtown.

Yelp
Pros -Staff was friendly upon checking in Cons -Did not have hot water in the shower -Towel had dark stains all over it (terrible) -They give you ear plugs because of all the noises in the room -You can hear the people above you walking around -General manager doesn't return phone call When I asked the front desk about the hot water issue the response I received was "you are not the only one." I was a bit thrown off by this so I asked to speak to the general manager, Jason Toncale. I left him a voicemail letting him know about the situation and mentioned that I would appreciate it if he got back in touch with me about this. I stayed at the hotel for three nights and he never returned the phone call. I see that he has responded to a coupe of negative posts on Yelp where people are all complaining about the same things. Clearly that is just for show and he has not taken the initiative to take action and correct these problems. I am out her every month for work and this was my FIRST and LAST time staying here.

Yelp
I recently stayed at this hotel for a several days during a convention and was deeply disappointed. I booked this specific hotel attracted by its history and the beautiful building façade but I regretted my choice soon after checking in. My first room had a great view but looked a bit rundown. I decided to stick it out and took a shower- it was completely clogged so the water would not drain. The reception gave me another room promising I would have the same view- I ended up getting a room with a view of an internal garden (and other windows instead). I was finally able to switch to my third- and final - room and the view was a bit better, but it did not make up for the lack of cleanliness. The whole room was outdated, cleaned in a perfunctory way and looked and felt old. I know that the hotel was recently renewed and the hotel lobby definitely looks modern and nice, the room however could have used some of the tender loving care shown to the lobby- I guess that the hotel just needed to give a polished good first impression to the guests and just do a basic renovation on the rooms to keep down costs. The floors are dark and covered with an old, stained carpet that is falling apart. The bathroom is very basic- there seems to be an ongoing problem with the piping system as I always had to flush at least twice - the toilet also made a very loud noise. The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything that was going on in the adjacent rooms (yes, EVERYTHING!). Somebody mentioned the AVEDA amenities in the bathroom: I only got two bars of soap, a moisturizer, one shampoo and one conditioner during my whole stay (a whole week). Thankfully I had some products I could use in my travel bags. The room also lacked other basic amenities. I have Gold Elite status and did not receive a bottle of water. Disappointing. My bed comforter smelled awful and it had several stains - see pictures. The reception employees were the only bright side of this hotel" they were always most polite and friendly. The people at the door were not welcoming and ignored me every time I entered or exited the hotel. The location was great as it is within walking distance of the Financial district. I would not recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Neither trendy or luxurious, but clean and adequate for a night's rest. Although listed many places as a 'boutique' hotel.. there was nothing particularly cute or unique about it. Pros: Very comfortable bed, quiet room, clean aside from a few hairs on the bathroom floor, nice shower, very convenient location if you're visiting Deep Ellum Meh: Lobby area very basic, room decor standard Cons: very small room for 2 people, lackadaisical staff (we had to hunt down a valet and were not acknowledged by most staff members we encountered), some areas seemed run down If the price is right and you're heading to Deep Ellum, this place will serve you just fine. I would be ok with staying there again. I would rate it as a 4 star experience, aside from the fact that it's marketed as a boutique experience... and it really isn't.

Yelp
The last time I stayed at a Hotel Indigo, I was very impressed. It was in Atlanta and it was my first time ever staying. The last few times I have stayed at the Hilton or any of the Hilton chains, I've been very disappointed, however I figured I would give it another shot since my event was happening close by this hotel, it would make it easier for me to get around. Upon arrival, I was greeted by very kind door men who helped me with my luggage. I was able to check in right away. It was about noon and they had a room ready for me. I had a lovely lady named Gia helping me. I requested a corner room-travel tip those are usually bigger. She said she not only had a room available for me, but a corner room as I had asked for. I was delighted to hear this news and after a long day of traveling, ready to check into my room. I had mentioned that I would have a colleague coming in to take over my reservation and that I would need to leave my card on file for him. Wires got crossed somewhere between me calling them ahead of time and when I arrived. This added time onto my check in process which I wasn't too happy about. My room was OK. It was interesting, although I did reserve a king I ended up with two beds but instead of the common double bedroom, the beds were facing one another. I was only staying two nights and sometimes it's nice to have a bed to lay your luggage on, so I didn't mind too much. Happy they had Aveda products. It was interesting, if nothing else. I was excited to be in a new city after spending so much time in Philadelphia the week before. I was ready to go out and explore. This hotel is in a great location to walk around downtown Dallas and explore. Main street is in walking distance. I'm not sure what the parking situation is because I übered. I got a really good rate since I was there under an events rate. Although, I still did not enjoy my stay unfortunately. The room itself was sort of a mess. There were nails on the floor, the door was busted, there was not a lot of amenities at all. The Wi-Fi works great, which I was happy about especially after my previous hotel. The 24 Hour Fitness Center was small and didn't offer much. There were also nails on the ground there as well. Please see photos. There is no pool, or locker room, spa situation. There is a small area by the check-in desk or you can grab drinks and small snacks as well as there is a restaurant that is open for breakfast and dinner. I was happy that they serve their breakfast late because I hate missing breakfast as it is my favorite meal, but sometimes a girl likes to sleep in! I had breakfast, it wasn't great. I chose to get the all American breakfast and they served me avocado that was brown. Also, please see photo. The service was great though. Overall, I would skip this hotel. I know there are a lot of hotels in the area that might be a better experience. I didn't care that much because I knew I was only there for two nights and I was working the whole time, had I been here on vacation I would've been disappointed. The checkout process was again not great because there were wires crossed again with my colleagues reservation, so I had to keep my über waiting until i figured that out.

Yelp
We booked our rewards night here while staying in Dallas. The room was on the 13th floor. I was a little skeptical since it was on the 13th floor. They are doing renovations in the hotel so beware of construction. The room was roomy with 2 queen beds and a spacious floor area. The bathroom felt tight and small. The shower smelled a little off. The towels smelled like BO. I felt gross and dirty after the shower. The beds were comfy. Our first night I couldn't sleep due to the sounds of the air conditioner. It kept making these loud hammer sounds. The second night I didn't hear it. Was it the ghosts from the 13th floor??? There was one elevator that was probably from the old part of the hotel. There was a sticker over the buttons specially the 13th floor. Freaked me out. Check out my pictures for proof! The service on the other hand was phenomenal. Mike the valet was extremely nice. Bookie from the front desk was super nice.

Yelp
Nice hotel. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant was under staffed this morning and buffet temperatures were off. I would have given them 4 stars but there were a ton of teenage girls running up and down the halls all night and slamming doors...

Yelp
Honestly I can't even get into it this is a very very very long and bad review but bottomline the customer service sucks they suck on the phone they suck in the hotel they SUCK. (DALLAS LOCATION IM REFERRING TO. WE HAD AN AMAZING STAY IN COLORADO AND ST LOUIS) anyway we drove 14 hours to be there overnight they I had us waiting in a parking lot for 40 minutes saying that they would help us with our booking and didn't I had to call back for five more times finally spoke to somebody who helped us and said we could check-in early seeing as I have been driving all night when we got there we couldn't check-in and after not being able to check-in told us to come back in 30 minutes we came back an hour later still couldn't check-in the manager was cool but there was a boy there In the front and he had a disgusting attitude on him. Literally three hours later and the early check-in that was assured and not received. We then searched for another hotel on our own. Not cancelling or telling the hotel that we planned to try something else, but all the other hotels were booked in the area so last minute so then we were forced to go back. We called back to see if we were finally able to check in but we were told that our booking had been cancelled when we never actually cancelled the booking the manager was apologetic after another four or five phone calls to reach him. we used to love Hotel Indigo and have stayed there many times but honestly this location was trash service
