Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown by IHG

I had a lovely first time staying at Indigo! I have visited in the past to go to Ivy Beauty & Bubbles Salon while visiting Dubai and staying elsewhere in Business Bay. The staff at Indigo are all very kind and professional. They accommodated a late checkout which was very much appreciated. My room was great, excellent water pressure in the shower even though it was quite high up / on the 17th floor. A small recommendation, for this price point it would be nice to have Nespresso brand pods to go with the Nespresso machine. Otherwise everything was great. The idea to use the hotel restaurant as a coworking space / with an unlimited coffee offer is a really interesting business model and I wish other places did this. I didn’t take advantage of it this visit but may be useful for other travellers, even if not staying at the hotel. I would definitely come back and recommend Indigo to family and friends.

Honestly I don’t ever write reviews for hotels but this hotel had exceptional service and I really felt taken care of. Especially Shabbir who greeted me everytime I came back to the hotel. He always tried to make me laugh and I would give nothing back because I was always so tired but he was always so sweet. And then Wael who helped me check in and was kind to me every time he saw me. Seng who worked the night shift at reception, she was always so helpful answering all my queries, helped me make a local call etc. The whole crew was amazing and the room was always cleaned up so nicely. The bell boys were great too. So friendly. The service is the best I’ve experienced at any hotel, room service was fast and affordable, appreciated the black out curtains I always sleep so late. I booked the hotel because of the gym. I managed to use it during my stay and it was quite comprehensive and had a lot of machines that other hotels don’t have. Huge shoutout to the gym if you’re a gym rat, you should book this hotel. It has a full sized bar, (no squat rack though) free weights, assisted pull up machine, cable machines, some ab machines, benches, enough for a very decent workout. Everything was really great to be honest! I was pleasantly surprised. Room is clean new and had everything I needed. I like the bathroom too. Oh and location was honestly the best. I could walk to Dubai mall (15 minutes), it was near the Bay Area, just really convenient. Overall 100/10 would return for sure.

We had a really great first stay at Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown. The breakfast buffet was excellent – great quality and a big variety. We enjoyed it every single morning. A big shout-out to Michael and Gabga at the reception. They were super friendly, very helpful, and incredibly sweet with our 3-year-old son. They really made us feel welcome from the start. The location with a view of the creek is fantastic, and the room cleaning was always perfect. We also really appreciated the free shuttle service to the Dubai Mall and Kite Beach. That was a great extra service, and we used it several times during our stay. Overall, it was a really lovely stay – we’d definitely come back!

We stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Downtown Dubai from November 10th to 17th, 2025. We truly appreciated the hotel’s location and the helpfulness of the staff at reception and in the service areas — always very friendly and ready to help. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and the room was perfectly cleaned every day. We also had a beautiful view over the creek from our room on the 19th floor. The Friday evening seafood buffet was excellent as well. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool was excellent for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, the service was fantastic. One slight downside is that you can sometimes hear traffic during the night. Other than that, we can only recommend this hotel — and especially the staff, who were exceptionally attentive, kind, and helpful.

We arrived on October 30th and met the staff member Christine, who was extremely professional and welcoming. Even though we arrived early, she made our stay special since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. She arranged a beautiful view for us, the room was lovely, and she even sent us a cake for the occasion. On the second day, the housekeeping team cleaned and arranged the room beautifully — they folded the towels into two heart shapes with dried flowers and left us a wonderful note. We truly appreciate their effort and attention to detail. When we were checking out, the hotel staff member was very polite and helpful, and he kindly offered us complimentary water. One great thing to note is that the property is non-smoking, and all the rooms smell fresh and amazing. 🤍

Last week, I stayed at Indigo Dubai and had a truly wonderful experience. I’d like to extend a special thank-you to Aniek for the smooth check-in and the lovely room. The rooms themselves are beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the stories about the elements woven throughout the hotel, such a thoughtful and creative touch. I also want to thank Fri for her quick and attentive service. Anytime we needed something, she made sure it was promptly delivered to our room, always with a kind and friendly attitude. Thank you all for making my stay memorable!

I had a great experience during my stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would also like to give special thanks to Gabga and ayoub from the staff. They were incredibly helpful, polite, and made my stay much easier. As an IHG platinum guest I have been to many hotels, and I can truly recommend Hotel Indigo Downtown Dubai. The rooms, service and employees are amazing. I really enjoyed my stay here. The whole staff was so friendly to me and my family. Many thanks to Aniek, Connie, Christine, Frie, Augustina and all the others. Also the Syrian member and his colleagues of the poolbar staff made our stay in the evening memorable. Even the General Manager took time te chat wit us. Thank you and I definitely will be back. Frank
