So the room was fine, we had a city view suite for 2 adults and 1 child. The sofa bed was a double and was made up and comfortable. There was a fridge in the room, but no minibar. Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, iron, hairdryer etc. Location is good, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and the U-bahn and S-bahn are close by. Parking is in the nearby Q park but costs €25 a day.
But the real issue here is the expectation vs. what you get. I'm booking a hotel Indigo, and its 4 star rating. But....there is no bar or restaurant. A 4 star hotel with no bar? Apparently the bar is only open at weekends (it def wasn't open on a Friday night). Of course no room service either. When did a 4 star hotel not have a bar or restaurant. Its kind of the equivalent of a 2 star Travelodge or Premier Inn in the UK. Again, the hotel is ok, but for the price and the star rating, surely there are minimum standards set?
