Hotel Indigo Edinburgh - Princes Street, an IHG Hotel

Absolutely loved this hotel. From the location to our room, to the staff we had a wonderful stay. I highly suggest upgrading to a higher floor room off princess street. I believe our room was 801 and it was gorgeous. Very spacious with lovely views, bathroom was very nice and shower pressure is great which i always appreciate. The lobby bar is fun in the evenings. Location is prime, especially during Christmas, the market is directly across the street. Definitely will book this hotel next time in Edinburgh! Our room was a little tough to get to as the hallways are narrow and there were stairs (we had lots of bags and they were heavy so was glad i had some muscle with me). Im sure the hotel would bring the bags to your room if that would be an issue.

Perfectly situated for all main attractions in Edinburgh. All within walking distance. Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner were fabulous and the bar has a great atmosphere, all with an amazing view out of the window. Definitely recommended.

All of the staff at Hotel Indigo were professional in their individual roles and were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Cameron was particularly helpful during my stay, thank you for your assistance. I had a wonderful stay here on business. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast the following morning in the gorgeous restaurant was delicious. I will most certainly be back and I will be recommending this hotel to fellow colleagues. Thank you to all of the staff from the doormen to the receptionists who all made my stay a very pleasant one.

We stayed here for 2 nights after a tour in Scotland. The location is great for sightseeing as the Royal Mile is about a 15 minute walk.|The rooms compact but well decorated and comfortable. The restaurant has a great view of Edinburgh. We had dinner there on our first night and wish we would have also had dinner there the second night. Try the lamb, it was excellent. Their breakfast is also to order and very good.

The room was fabulous! ||The bed was to die for, we slept extremely well. Very good blackout curtains and the bedding, pillows etc were beautiful. ||Had a nice selection of teas, coffees and drinks in the room. The water and chocolate in the fridge was a very nice touch as were the crisps and shortbread! ||The arran shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and body wash was lovely to use in the bathroom. ||All of the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Anna especially who checked us in and gave us some tips on where to go and what to see. ||The smell throughout the hotel was gorgeous. ||The only problem was that corridor was noisy overnight but that’s not any fault of the staff.

The location was great! I really liked the convenience of being next to the train station and the Christmas markets. Also very easy to get Edinburgh Castle, Royal mille, etc. The hotel is nice with a restaurant and a bar. The stair case area is surrounded with pics of princes. The room has art and written of work of Kenneth Grahame. The room is equipped with all the necessities, coffee, hair dryer. The bathroom had a few issues with the faucet and the towel rack and do I alerted staff. Overall a great stay and would stay here again..

The restaurant is very high-end, luxurious and elegant. You can order British staple food from the menu. Every meal in the buffet area, including the food boxes, is exquisite. It has the atmosphere of a princess or prince dining. 🎈Excellent locationIt is within walking distance of most attractions. The hotel has Calton Hill on the left, the Scott Memorial Tower on the right, and Princes Street across the street. It is not far from the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Castle, and Victoria Street! 🎈Around the hotelThere are large shopping malls and shopping festivals next to it. Next door is the famous British souvenir shop---Whittard, and nearby is the famous Scottish restaurant---Howies restaurant and Chinese restaurant, in time for Christmas there is a Christmas market within a few minutes' walk. 🎈Hotel serviceYou can store your luggage for free, and you can hang out after checking out. It's really easy to pick up your luggage before getting on the train.

Beautiful hotel, located in the muggle part of Edinburgh, yet with breathtaking views and in very short walking distance of all the magic. Our room was spacious, clean and charming. The view from our room delivered the joy of seeing the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh city life and the sun setting and rising from behind the city. All the staff is friendly and helpful and both mornings breakfast was of high quality. Saturday night we explored the hotel bar, and even though the drinks aren't as spectacular as the website makes believe, the flavors were there and the atmosphere great. Overall, it was a very nice and comfortable experience, next trip to Edinburgh chances are very high I'll book a room at Hotel Indigo Edinburgh again!
