Nice hotel, probably the nicest in Hattiesburg! Great location with several quality eating places within walking distance. Really just right beyond the parking lot of the hotel. The only reason I have 4 stars was our shower wasn’t clean. Hair in the drain. Otherwise great stay!

Loved my stay at Hotel Indigo! It was very quiet, seemed like there was hardly anyone else on my floor. They checked in on me a couple times a day to make sure I was happy with everything. 10/10!

The room was clean and as advertised. We loved that it is dog friendly (they actually had treats near the front desk). Quaint little location with a nail bar, sushi, and more just out the front door of the hotel. We will be using this hotel going forward.

We stayed for an overnight passing through town. It was one of the best hidden gems. The lady at check in was very kind and so accommodating. I appreciate her taking extra time for us. The hotel smelled amazing and everything was super clean and quiet. The area seemed safe. We would definitely stay here again and I am very picky!

The staff at this hotel were so friendly! The ladies had great smiles and great attitudes. This hotel was super clean and smelled wonderful. If you’re ever in Hattiesburg, this is where you want to stay!

As a loyal guest over the past year, I’m sad to report that standards here have slipped significantly since the new General Manager started. I used to see the previous GM constantly; he was attentive and cared deeply about housekeeping and customer service. My recent experience was quite different. An issue I raised to corporate was sent to the new GM, resulting only in a poorly drafted email and no solution. It’s disheartening to see a place I used to love lose its way.

Customer service 0/10. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels but this was by far the worst. There was a young lady apart of the staff name Courtney who was extremely rude during checkin. She was constantly on her phone and making side bar conversations as if I was an inconvenience. When I asked questions, she let out a long sigh before answering. As a tired mom, who was just ready to check in, she made this process more stressful than it needed to be not being able to find my reservation because she’s busy doing other things in her personal life during company time. Other than that the rooms were kind of small but the beds slept nice.

Decent hotel in a good location with terrible customer service. Checked out of hotel and received my bill after departure. Bill had liquor charges from the on-site bar to my room despite the fact I never went to the bar at all. Called hotel to dispute and they acted like I was lying (pull your security footage or check the receipt signature?) but said they would refund the charge. Hotel has yet to refund the charge so now have to go with a credit card charge back. Not sure why they allow room charges without verification. Unfortunately, won't be coming back here.

Nice hotel to stay at while in Hattiesburg! The front desk staff are very nice, and always say hello or goodbye when you walk through the doors. The room seemed very clean and I really liked the decor. The bathroom was a little odd, with the door having a panel of (frosted, so you can't really see more than vague outlines) glass, and the shower was completely glass. However, it was a shower that actually had good temperature control and pretty decent water pressure. There was plenty of space on the sink counter, and the mirror had a really cool design that made it look like a giant clock - which, unfortunately, was not actually functional, but it still looked really cool. The Brass Hat was a nice place to get desserts, and although I never ate the actual food myself it looked and sounded really good. There were also several really good restaurants within walking distance, like an amazing place to get breakfast called The Midtowner (we ate two of our two breakfasts there), and a taco place called Fuzzy's Tacos. One exception to the good places rule is The Yard Milkshakes, but that's a whole other story.

This is the only place we'll stay when coming to visit Hattiesburg. We began our trip this time at another hotel around I-59, and not only is this hotel much closer to everything I'm interested in (Southern Miss campus and the new developments around it, etc.), but it's an overall better experience. We ate at the restaurant downstairs again and it was great (I had been to it once before in 2023). It's a nice spot, the room quality was great, the service was great, we have no complaints. And since it's Hattiesburg prices, you get a lot for a relatively low price.

Stayed here again and another good experience. The location is fantastic. Walking distance of tons of restaurants and right across from the University of Southern Mississippi. The rooms are very clean. Staff is friendly. We made use of the bar. They have fun and unique drinks. But damn is it ever expensive!! All in all, we do like the hotel.

Very nice staff. Let me check in early after drive from New Orleans. Love the decor in the rooms. Absolutely love the shower.

Pretty. Freakin. Cool. The decor is very chic, bold, and interesting. Rooms are large and comfy. Restaurant on site stays open later than most local spots. You share a parking lot with several eateries within walking distance from the hotel. The Midtowner next door was recommended for breakfast, although we're traveling to visit Nelson and Nellie for breakfast at the bagel shop next to Nellie's Chicken and Daiquiris. Hotel staff is nice and offered suggestions for food and entertainment. No question when we return of where we will stay. Did I mention there's A LOT of food in walking distance? There is. A LOT.

My fiancé and I visited Hattiesburg this past weekend for a family event. We decided to stay at Hotel Indigo. This hotel was absolutely amazing. Super easy check-in/checkout process. The hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Also, I loved the decor and all of the mirrors in the room. I hate I didn't get pictures, but I will be returning in October for homecoming and excited to stay here again! Great hotel with great customer service!

I stayed at the hotel indigo for two nights (during covid). I had a great time at the brass hat (the bar downstairs) and loved the room. I do wish that for the covid precautions there was a way to pick up all the things you need (towels, cups, more shampoo etc) instead of every time you realize you ran out of something you had to go downstairs. This would be problematic if I stayed more than two nights. It's a very clean hotel and is in a cute shopping area.

The entire stay was a nightmare. We waited hours at the Brass Hat for drinks and appetizers. The bartender/waitress complained the whole time when we saw her, but we didn't see her frequently. The cost was prohibitive, $134 for drinks and appetizers with a built in 20% gratuity. It took an hour between ordering a drink and getting one. It took 2 hours to get food. We finally realized that service was quicker if we ordered straight from the bar because the bartender was getting extra tips. The attitude was basically "we just don't care." Also, be very careful how you book a room. My husband went to the website and was directed to Get a Room, without realizing it. He accidentally entered 12/15 instead of 12/16. He immediately called to correct it. He was directed back and forth to the hotel, Get A Room etc and they charged us $200 and said there was no way to change it. We got to the hotel and the manager said call Get a Room because she had nothing to do with it. We could not ever reach a person at Get a Room. Her attitude was also "Why should I care?" Fortunately, I got her name and number and I told her that I discovered that the hotel representative was capable of calling Get a Room. Then, she agreed to do it. I still don't know if we will get the money back. Also, they double charged us for one room and we had to argue about that. We will NEVER stay at a Hotel Indigo or an IHG hotel again.

There's not many places you go that you get greeted by a Turkey but that's exactly what happened when we entered Hotel Indigo in Hattiesburg last Friday night. By a Turkey, we mean a 1 year old male chihuahua, who is up for adoption from Southern Pines Animal Shelter. Hotel Indigo participated in the Suite Pups Program where a chance encounter with one of these precious animals may lead them to their forever home. The first thing that struck me about the hotel located in Midtown Hattiesburg , was the overall beauty of the red brick building. The entrance, black metal trimmed with gold, demanded attention and portrayed that the hotel was full of class. This appealing style led into the foyer where we were introduced to the first bit of wood, an incredibly beautiful nod to the timber industry that Hattiesburg was built on. Timber and industry combined to make one of the most spectacular decorative statements we've ever seen in a hotel. The spacious rooms continued the industrial theme, with uses of several types of glass and metal intertwined into the design. The bathroom was comparable to that found in a high-end spa while the glass and tile shower only added to the wild comforts of the room. Our room definitely felt more like a flat in the middle of New York City than a hotel room. The use of straight lines and soft edges throughout the room also allowed the history of Hattiesburg to show, even through the modern comforts of home. The Brass Hat, located on the first floor of the hotel, offers appetizers, cocktails, and a trip back in time aboard what appears to be a turn of the century rail car. The light fixtures, hand rails, and sitting areas all pay homage to Hattiesburg's strong railroad history. Hotel Indigo in Hattiesburg is one of the most spectacular hotels we've ever had the pleasure of visiting and we know you will absolutely have the same experience whether you're looking for a little downtime, attending a Southern Miss event, or visiting the Hub City on business.

We stayed here a week ago on our way to Florida. We loved it so booked again on our way home to Texas. Wow. Room above us stomping feet all night. Horrible. I called and they said they would call them. I went down in the morning and asked front desk girl a question and how dare I. I interrupted her on her phone. Extremely rude. Extremely!!! I saw her put on the fake nice charm in front of manager and others night before. Manager btw was super friendly and actually smiled and talked to us. Won't be back. Too bad and it's a shame one person can ruin how we viewed the experience.

Very nice room! Has Keurig in the room with pods. Bed was comfy! Only complaint was the ac wouldn't stay on so we got kinda hot.... We like the room COLD! Other than that it was nice!

Beautiful, safe, but unclean. I was passing through on a roadtrip and stopped here with my dog. I paid a pretty penny but don't feel like I got my money's worth 100%. The little town it is in is very cute, the hotel itself is decorated beautifully, and I felt safe which is most important part. The room was pretty dirty though. Hair and dog hair stuck to everything. I even had to clean out the fridge before I put my food in. The bedding had stains, there was toothpaste on the mirror, hair on my "clean" towels, and hair in the shower. If my room were clean I'd give it a 5 but I felt pretty gross. Staff was very kind and helpful during my stay. Maybe I just got a little unlucky but I would still recommend this hotel

The Bar and Restaurant are HORRIBLE. The bartenders are slow as hell, they don't have a clue about what they are supposed to be doing. We ordered drinks and it literally took 15 minutes to get them, and the place wasn't even busy. The bartenders leave the area and disappear for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. The servers are the same way, CLUELESS. They use to have some great bartenders , but I heard the Hotel was under new management. They must have the cheap ass mentality, of driving the business into the ground, and it shows!

I would not stay here again. $238 a night! Hotel was very clean but still using supply issues as excuse for not having enough soap etc. Two little tiny bars of soap, no shower cap, had to ask for cups and coffee. Nothing offered for breakfast. Coffee in lobby tasted like dirty dish water. Girl at front desk not very informed.

I love this Hotel. Staff is very friendly from front desk, house keeping, bar and restaurant. I love having a real bar and restaurant with good food and drinks. Rooms are spacious and large bathroom with large sliding door shower. Also walking distance to fresh donuts, assorted restaurants. My second stay.

My friend and I stayed here. The bartender was wonderful !!!!! Room was awesome. Forgot my purse in the room, I know, who does that?? Called and they had it at the desk. All intact. Great people!! Will definitely be back when I travel through.

Stopped here on our drive from Florida back to Oklahoma. Great hotel! Phenomenal bar atmosphere. Service was a little slow but didn't mind as the atmosphere was so great! Surrounded by great little places around it! If you are in Hattiesburg, this is the place to stay!

The sheets had blood stains on them and the bathroom curtain had water stains. We asked the move rooms and the new room had stains on the floor near the toilet.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms were very clean. The location is great. The bar is very good, perhaps a bit pricey. The staff was informative, friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

This hotel is a wonderful gem in central Hattiesburg. The decor is modern but also pays reverence to local history and traditions. The parking is convenient and close by. Hotel staff is welcoming and helpful, especially the Manager, Lonny. There are plenty of restaurants and boutiques in the vicinity with a variety of options. The bar/restaurant in the lobby is wonderful and there's an outdoor patio that is excellent for enjoying nice weather. The fitness center is clean, bright and well equipped. No complaints about this place, we will definitely go back!

This place is awesome! I hardly ever leave reviews unless it's really bad or really good, and usually it's the first one. BUT this place was amazing. Everyone was super friendly, the restaurant inside the hotel was so convenient and good. They made a specialty Friday the 13th drink... Superb! Back to the hotel, clean! Which is huge for me. Clean and spacious, with great lighting and decor in the room. Bed was a little uncomfortable but I've had worse, the shower head was a little annoying because you couldn't point it down, but it is detachable which helped and the room was freezing! And even though I turned it up, it was 68 in our room all night. But again, I've had worse and would absolutely stay here again! Very happily surprised by my last minute choice to go with this hotel.

Wonderful desk service. Beautifully decorated and very clean rooms. Directly across the street from USM's campus. I'll definitely be recommending them to friends, and staying the next time I'm here.

We made reservations at Hotel Indigo in Hattiesburg this weekend thinking we may have to evacuate New Orleans due to Hurricane Barry. Everyone I talked to at this hotel was extremely nice and helpful. They basically left the light on for us if we needed them and didn't penalize us when we decided that we may not have to evacuate after all! They gave us a real piece of mind during a stressful time. We will definitely have to visit them soon!

The rooms are very clean & updated! Staff is friendly and parking lot is well lit. One thing I can not move past is the water temperature. It was almost lukewarm. To some that may not be a big deal, but to me I like a warm or hot shower for the price of room per night, I would expect very few issues

Delightful hotel. Stayed for three nights while visiting family. Very well appointed, clean, and comfortable room. Keurig with a nice supply of regular and decaf coffee, and tea. Smart tv with great streaming capabilities. Mini fridge for my necessities. Aveda toiletries and a great blow dryer. It's the little details that mean the most sometimes! The staff was very courteous and accommodating. I will stay at Hotel Indigo every time I'm in Hattiesburg!
