The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, with a tram station nearby, making it very convenient for getting around. The breakfast is tasty with a wide variety of food options to enjoy. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Rooms are clean, well-sized, and the bathroom is impressively spacious with a nicely separated bath and shower area. The staff are very friendly and polite, making the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the air conditioning, which was a bit lacking and made the room feel too warm during autumn nights. Overall, a very pleasant stay with great comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

Just spent a most enjoyable few days with friends in the Indigo Helsinki. It was absolutely outstanding in so many ways. ||Its location is very convenient, on multiple tram routes just three stops from the Central Station. The area is very attractive and full of appealing shops, cafés and restaurants. ||The rooms were comfortable, spacious and attractively decorated. They were also very well maintained.||The staff could not have been more welcoming and attentive, in all areas. ||Breakfast was of a very high standard, and we also enjoyed a meal in the restaurant and time in the bar. A special mention for Aline who always went out of her way to make us feel at home. ||We thought that all things considered, the room prices were reasonable, and the same was true for the bar and restaurant. ||Would definitely stay again on another visit.

The hotel boasts a central location, just a short walk from beautiful sights and excellent restaurants. With convenient Uber service and minimal traffic, exploring further attractions like the rock church or library was a breeze. The room featured high-quality coffee and incredibly comfortable beds. Overall, an excellent stay!

The entrance is unassuming, which is no big deal. The desk staff were helpful, efficient and pleasant. The breakfast staff had a goal of making sure you had what you needed and were pleasant. Breakfast had good choices. The room was very clean with adequate storage in teh room and lavatory. (even a face cloth, which is unusual in Eur.). Lots of good lighting and outlets. The metro is a short walk away. We usually took the metro to explore the area.

They let me check-in early in the morning which was much welcome after 14 hours flight. Definitely worth to be a member! Service and staff were exceptional. Love the room theme and also small cozy sauna to relax after walking day.

Everything was truly five-star. The food was incredible—diverse and flavorful, with hidden gems like perfectly cooked eggs, delicious salmon, fresh vegetables, quiches, a wide variety of breads, power foods, wellness shots, smoothies, and fresh juices. All of this is served in a charming, cozy corner that feels far more personal and tasteful than a large, impersonal all-inclusive resort. We also met a Romanian staff member who added a warm, familiar touch to the experience. The entire team was extremely helpful, even preparing breakfast for early departures. The sauna and gym are available free of charge until 10PM, and daily cleaning is done thoughtfully—only removing towels left on the floor to support sustainability. The bed was cozy with an amazing king-size mattress—definitely not just two beds pushed together, or at least it didn’t feel that way. The room was well-equipped with a fridge, air conditioning, iron, and more. Everything was just right.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. Very good breakfast with a variety of options. Staff at reception very friendly and efficient. Room very comfortable, apart from inability to control temperature. Excellent soundproofing on street side. Nice in-room amenities in superior room: stocked minibar, bathrobes & slippers for both occupants, coffee pods and selection of teas. Good value for money. Always look forward to staying here!

A delightful boutique hotel, located on a charming central Helsinki boulevard. Every staff member we interacted with were friendly and professional. Sauna and steam room on site and free bikes to borrow. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. A wonderful stay. Book a king premium room.

Yelp
The Hotel Indigo offers modern comfort in the heart of downtown Helsinki. The king-bed rooms are spacious, sparkling clean, and well appointed, although the mattresses are a bit hard. The front desk was a little short in finding our two nights of stay, since our tour company had booked one night in my name and my night in my spouse's, and it was unclear to me how a room booked under a single, rather uncommon surname caused such a snag, but other than that we fully enjoyed our stay, the many breakfast options, and the hotel's excellent location, in walking distance to a variety of sightseeing experiences. Overall, very nice!

Yelp
A friend and I stayed at hotel indigo a little while ago and we loved it! The hotel is in a great location with easy tram access and also easily walkable to most things. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. There was a nespresso machine in the room and they gave me free coffee and milk at the front desk in the morning as well. They have a great gym and, when we went, they had an aerial yoga set up down there that I used everyday (it was so fun!). They also have a steam room and sauna. There wasn't a thing about this hotel that we disliked. I would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Great room, good sound insulation, lacking front desk and billing. I was looking forward to returning to Hotel Indigo perhaps after the construction next door is expected to be finished Jan. '18, perhaps sooner. Getting a room next to the elevator initially alarmed me because I had just arrived from Seattle and needed a good night's sleep. Any concerns appeared to be unjustified because I could barely hear/feel the noise/vibrations of tram in the street right in front of my room and even less those of the elevator. Nice job! But making it through the hotel's billing system unscathed was an entirely different matter. The billing system seems to be all messed up. I would not recommend an advance purchase through a travel agency. At checkin the front desk acknowledged that I had an advance purchase reservation from Amex. They took my credit card for incidentals and offered to sign me up for their rewards program. On the morning of departure, the front desk had no recollection or proof of my advance purchase reservation. When I showed them my Amex confirmation of full payment the assistant denied it was valid. No manager appeared available to sort out the problem. I was required to make another full payment before I could leave. Unacceptable. Breakfast is ok. Location is excellent for the design district. Helpfulness of front desk staff for arranging a taxi etc is very efficient. Because of their billing system however, I left with a negative experience. There appear to be better options in Helsinki in the same price range. Not recommended.

Yelp
Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. Sort of weird that they don't give shampoo. We had Aveda body wash, conditioner, lotion, and bar soap, but no shampoo. I even asked the front desk about it. Front desk was helpful and friendly. But not all requests or questions were addressed. For example, we had asked for a quiet room since I read that there is construction next door until 2018. We didn't get that. Thought the sauna hours were a bit short in the evenings. Also, the women's sauna was not in operation. Great location, 5 minutes walk to a grocery store. We were able to walk everywhere for sight seeing.

Yelp
I stay here for business and leisure. Pleasant hotel with a very helpful staff that takes the time to answer your questions in-depth. Rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. My wife ate at the restaurant in the hotel and liked it. I did not get a chance to sample their food. It is in a good location and many places are within walking distance (the ferry to Suomenlinna Island ferry, harbour market, etc). The Ekberg bakery is very close and serves a good latte and wonderful pastries). Off-season rates are very reasonable. Nespresso machine in the room and a parking garage below the building. Sauna also available in the spa area.

Yelp
Very nice hotel in great location, only few blocks from main shopping street and most of the sights, short walk to train or bus stations, plenty of restaurants around. Room was very clean and housekeeping did great job replacing toiletries and other amenities daily. Bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the heated floors and speaker in the bathroom. Breakfast wasn't included but there was perfect cafe almost across from the street. Sauna was nice but it would have been convenient to have conditioner besides just shampoo/body gel.

Yelp
WE stayed here last week for 11 nights and it was great, the rooms are clean and size is good enough. The front desk men and women were so helpful and the night manager even patiently walked us through getting us the nba finals at 2am so we were very happy with that! WE were there to attend the Special Convention of Jehovahs Witnesses and would definitly recommend them as a host hotel for any Buisness as well. The morning breakfast was amazing with something for everyone. The only minor negative and the resaon for not giving 5 stars is the housekeeping. We travel often and have never had them Not remove old dishes and actually leave old coffee in cups in room; however that is such an easy fix! We ate at the resturant for dinner 2 nights and the food is really good!
