The Hotel Indigo and I met as I was ready to collapse immediately following a 15-hour flight, and she caught me.
No, I'm not kidding - I literally fell onto my plush bed covered with the softest sheets imaginable and slept blissfully... until 5am. Oh jet lag, you are a cruel punishment.
Self-induced torture aside, my stay at the Indigo was quite comfortable. Between the spacious size of the room (impressive even to a Westerner), unlimited bottles of water provided daily, luxe toiletries, motorized blackout shades (yessssss), prime location 5 minutes from the Wan Chai MTR stop, onsite restaurant perfect for breakfast and a scan of the local newspaper, and the kimono-style robes that I'm still coveting, you won't want for anything at all.
After several exciting and long days of walking around the city, it was always a pleasure to return to the Indigo and sink into that bed for a late-afternoon siesta.
Indigo, you can be my home away from home anytime.
