Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung Central Park by IHG

I chose the Indigo largely for the location. We were attending a concert in the city and the Indigo was nicely located for that and had easy access to public transport. The hotel has a pretty bland, unassuming exterior and so my expectations were pretty low going into the stay but the Hotel Indigo managed to wildly exceed my expectations on every level. The lobby is quirky in an invitingly cozy way. It is wonderfully appointed and easy to navigate. The staff are so friendly and they bend over backwards to help you and make your stay enjoyable and hassle free. They are quick with a smile and a suggestion or an offer of help. They really warm the place up. The rooms are large, bright, well decorated with lively and thoughtful touches. The bathroom is great and the shower is spacious with nice strong water pressure. A huge closet and couch rounds out the decor. I can enthusiastically recommend Hotel Indigo Kaoshiong Central Park.

Good location, right across Central Park. It should be quiet but there’s road construction right beside it. Which is unfortunate when we stayed there, there were loud construction noises during the day. The buffet food selection was varied and many. Good food. Good service from staff also. Big thanks to Tony Wang from front desk for assisting us with asking for medicine from the 藥局。 Happy hour is a fine touch. Much appreciated

Beautiful and clean rooms in central Kaohsiung. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the happy hours. Very convenient location for shopping and touring in the city. Metro station is a short 2-3min walk from front door. Local breakfast places within 5min walk were also great. Tons of other food options close by as well, including western fast food and dine-in.

Stayed here for 10 nights, and only had great memories. I was initially assigned to higher floor room, it was spacious but the room did not have what i needed for the stay. I went down to reception the next morning, and asked if there's any other room that would better suits my need. A lady named Jeslin Lin helped me, and asked if i would like to see the available rooms. She was kind enough to not only find the room that'd suit me, but also helped me moved. As patron of the hotel, i felt that my need was seen and heard, and i really appreciate that. Aside from Jeslin Lin, i also love and appreciate the attentive and cheerful greetings whenever i walked past the reception. Be it 6am or 11pm, there were always staffs at the reception, smiling and greeting us patrons with "Hi, welcome back!", small gestures but such great impact. Even the housekeeping team were all friendly, kind and always keen to offer help. And bonus point was the laundry/dry cleaning service was done so fast, in before 12pm, return same day before 9pm, love the apt service! Overall, love every part of my stay, and would definitely recommend to my friends and family, and would come back to stay at Indigo Kaohsiung again real soon. Thank you everyone at Hotel Indigo Kaohsiung for making my stay not only comfortable but also memorable❤️ Ps: some points that i'd love to add is the cleanliness of the room and beddings. The floor were dust free, beddings and towels were all very clean, and did not smell of bleach or perfum❣️

I only have high praise for this hotel! The service is exceptional and I felt right at home here. The people at the front desk are friendly and helpful. They always greet you when you walk by. The location is right in the heart of Kaohsiung and beside the metro. Lots of food options nearby. The hotel helped us prepare an infant bed and baby bottle sterilizer, a little step stool and a baby wash bin which was very helpful. Our room was facing Central Park and we had a great view in the day and night. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Kaohsiung!

Absolutely love this hotel. We really enjoyed the comfy spacious room. The breakfast was delicious. We appreciate the happy hours from 5:30-6:30 with wine, beer and light snacks. We were also grateful to Frank Wu at the front desk who was always able to find and make us a reservation for dinner with our dietary restrictions (we don’t eat beef or pork). He was always so helpful with whatever we needed.

Had a cracking stay at this hotel! The service was proper quick, and the staff were absolute gems. Big shoutout to Ted and Andy for sorting out a complaint sharpish- they really kept things up to IHG's top notch standards. Also, massive thanks to Sally, Ruru, Molly, Agnes, and Emma for their warm, friendly vibes. Everything ran like clockwork, and the place had a proper welcoming feel.Would definitely recommend and come back again! Cheers for a brill experience!

My wife and I checked-in at Indigo Hotel Kaohsiung, and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality by the reception staffs, especially Ms. Kelly and Mr. Tony. They both went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and truly valued.||||Another standout feature of our stay was the condition of our hotel room. Despite being an 8-year-old hotel, the room was very well-maintained, showing the hotel’s commitment to upkeep. The photos on the website were almost exact reflection of the room we stayed in, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s rare to find a hotel that takes such pride in maintaining their property to such a high standard, and I truly appreciate the effort they put into making sure everything is in perfect condition.||||The hotel location is just next to Central Park Station, exit 2 and a 1min walk to reach hotel. I reached Kaohsiung via High Speed Train (Zuoying), took me only a short 20min MRT train ride to reach the hotel (central park station). This is very convenient! ||||Special thanks to Ms Agnes, you are a great manager, thanks for your prompt and efficient assistance, we had a comfortable stay! Once again, thank you Indigo Hotel, you have a very good team members whom made a your hotel even better, we will definitely return to Indigo Hotel on our next visit to Kaohsiung!

Pretty happy with my stay there. I booked 3 nights with my IHG points and the whole process was seamless. Because of my status with IHG, we were offered drink tickets for their rooftop bar (it has near 360 views of the city). A tray of fizzy water, snacks and a handwritten personal note was provided in the room because they had noticed the kiddo's birthday was coming up during the check in process. They also reached out via email a week prior to see if we had any special needs or requests. I had asked for a room with a view and was placed on their top floor with floor to ceiling windows~I mean, typical Indigo hotel service & vibes...Room was spacious with a mini fridge, daily water replenishments, snacks, and typical shower amenities. Oh, they also have the butt rinsing toilets if that matters. No bed bugs and the place was very reasonably clean. The front desk staff were always pleasant and friendly. They also greet you each time you pass by. Even the housekeeping staff were super nice. Location is also pretty convenient. Central park is right next door along with the subway station. Literally two subway exits (to the left and to the right) just a few minutes away. Too bad the area isn't the best shopping area anymore because everyones moved to the Arena area now~but nevertheless, theres still "some" good shopping. A couple of department stores a quick taxi ride away. I do want to mention though, the rooftop bar needs some work. When my family and I went on a weekend to celebrate a birthday, so many food items were sold out. The place was also a buffet for mosquitos--to the point where they brought over Off Bug spray and a bug zapper lamp. Otherwise, place was great!
