"Best Milan hotel for: stylish comforts that won’t break the bank In a 19th-century residential apartment block, this delightful B&B mixes vintage and Art Deco and is within striking distance of the financial district of Porta Nuova. The apartment brims with character, decorated with finds that owners Marco and Fabio have acquired from their travels over the years (Indian rugs from Darjeeling; a Mexican statue depicting La Catrina; a palm-shaped lamp and wicker chairs from Barcelona), along with items of furniture passed down by family members. The rooms feature charming touches with playful designs including ochre flowered wallpaper and hand-painted Sicilian tiles in the bathrooms. We especially like the delightful terrace where breakfast is served during the warmer months of the year. Price: Rooms from around $122 per night Address: LaFavia Milano, Via Carlo Farini 4, 20154 Milan, Italy Book now at LaFavia Locanda Pandenus Best Milan hotel for: an affordable but chic stay You’d be forgiven for missing the entrance of this little bolthole tucked away above a bustling bistro-slash-café. Squeeze your way past the busy bar to the sound of coffee machines humming and whirring and head upstairs to this hideaway with only four rooms. You’ll find thick velvets in bold hues of terra-cotta and turquoise, retro geometric motifs, and smart fabric wall coverings, while the elegant bathrooms with monsoon showers are fitted with white and black marble to exude a timeless appeal. There’s an itsy-bitsy lounge where you can sit back and unwind although the action is at the bistro—pop downstairs for a bite or an aperitivo as the sun begins to set. Wonderful hotel. Location was perfect, rooms nicely designed with all amenities. Well designed. Special mention for the front desk staff - world class. We checked out and forgot our passports left in the room safe. With a quick message, they had my passports at front desk within minutes when I returned in a taxi ready for me to pick up. The lovely lady at front desk was so warm and welcoming throughout our stay, I wish to give her a special thank you!

Probably the best check in experience ever thanks to Olena. Warm and smiling welcome, offering capucino while our luggage were taken to the room. I travel a lot but this check in was clearly oustanding. The hotel building is beautiful and the location within walking distance of the Duomo and métro line to Linate airport (less than 15 mns) is fantastic. Our room was rather small but very comfy. The soundproof of our hotel room overlooking the street was the only sore point. The street was quitte busy and sound proofing of the Windows not up to the standard of the hotel. A great stay overall.

The upgrade to the junior suite was so great! I was there for one night only on business and hard the perfect and relaxed stay. The staff is always super at the hotel. Really warm welcome at the front desk and great service at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Hotel is becoming populat where you see the rates rising in even not so high season weeks/months. That is a bit a shame. But overall great hotel with a great location.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel and am so grateful for the memorable birthday celebration you provided. From the start, I appreciated the flexibility of early check-in, which made my arrival smooth and comfortable. A special thank you for the lovely birthday gift waiting in my room—it was such a thoughtful touch! I was also pleasantly surprised by the evening turndown service, an unexpected treat for a 4-star hotel. The entire staff was outstanding, and enjoying breakfast in such a beautifully designed interior added a unique and delightful start to each day. While the price for upgraded rooms is on the higher side, it felt well worth it considering the overall experience and attention to detail. This was truly my best experience with the Indigo brand, and you’ve ensured it won’t be my last. I felt surrounded by thoughtful hospitality in a beautifully designed space, making my birthday a truly exceptional occasion. Thank you!

Trip for our anniversary and a birthday celebration. Hotel was nice and in a good location. Easy to access public transport. Clean and well presented. We were a little disappointed more effort was not made regarding the reason for our stay. I emailed several times before arrival. I am also an IHG member and this was not noted. Breakfast is ok, selection limited. Staff all great and helpful.

Great location. 5 minutes by walk to Monte Napoleone. Very clean room. Good service and meals at the restaurant. The only problem was temperature for me. Maximum possible temperature in room was 24 Celsius. I need at least 29 to feel myself comfortable.

We had a lovely experience at Hotel Indigo and I would stay at this location again, as well as any of their other locations worldwide. The hotel was conveniently located to the Duomo and old town, perhaps a 10-15 minute walk. Our room was huge with a large comfortable bed and clean bathroom. This was the last couple of days of our trip and it was a fun way to end our trip. The hotel bar and courtyard were very nice for breakfast and afternoon aperitivo. The staff was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Hotel Indifo Corso Monforte.

The hotel has a funky cool vibe and the two rooms we stayed in ( private terrace and junior suite) were great. The location is good with only a short walk to the Duomo. The staff, however, are the best feature. My wife speaks Italian, but I unfortunately do not. The staff, particularly Joyce and Riccardo at the front desk, switched effortlessly between Italian and English, always being friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend the Hotel Indigo Milano.
