The hotel is in a convenient location. It is right off the main highway and close to some amazing restaurants. IF the weather is good, you can walk to some of them. The place is in a quiet neighborhood and the staff is friendly. The best part of our stay was their cafe/restaurant. The staff there was amazing and the food was too. Though it was raining, the view of the rain during breakfast was serene.

Excited to book again here. It’s a well run hotel. Love the rooms, bathroom and feel. Great customer service. Enjoyed a glass of wine and breakfast which I had not done before. I had the welcome drink and breakfast rate. The oatmeal was fab. There are several cooked choices too. Wish this brand was more predominant in CA.

The hotel and room itself were very nice, as were the staff. The biggest critique I have about this hotel is the lack of sound-proofing. It sits right next to a busy highway, and all night you can hear the traffic in your room. The internal sound-proofing didn’t seem much better, as there was one night I could hear one of our neighbors on the hallway out in the hallway just chatting away and even when they eventually went into their room. Would I stay here again? Maybe.

Google
A nice hotel in a great area for touring wine country but felt like it could use a little help given the price of the room. The room itself was clean and tidy but the closet drove us crazy. The closet is a narrow affair with bifold doors situated directly next to the door to the hall and it was impossible to close the closet door without moving the clothes hangers to the side to do so. The mattress, while comfortable, was starting to develop a pronounced dip in the middle.

We had multiple reservations through the trip because we used rewards nights on some nights and the staff were very efficient and nice about checking us in each time. The rooms are spacious with lots of counter space. Great trip.

Google
The hotel was relatively clean but extremely outdated. First, they allow dogs (pets). The room across from me had a dog that barked incessantly. That wouldn’t be so bad except that the walls are paper thin. You hear everything, even above you. The gym is a joke. You can hardly get ready in the morning because the lights are so dim. When you open the closet door your clothes get crushed. Sorry but this property is on my do not return list. One redeeming feature OSS the friendly and helpful staff. Oh and if you stay check the refrigerator settings. My $50 worth of food froze overnight.

Google
The hotel was great for the most part! The proximity of the rooms and the doorways to other rooms was less than ideal just because you could hear everything going on in the next room as well as in the hallways. The room was pretty clean though and WiFi was great. The bed was comfy as well!

We were greeted warmly at the desk. Although, there was no room ready for a 1:00 check in, we were in invited to return in an hour. We were then able to check in at 2:00 after lunch at a nearby restaurant. The next morning we were remembered and greeted warmly again. The hotel was clean and seemed like it had recently been renovated.

Yelp
Come on! No free two bottles of water in the suite ? For basically a mid level motor lodge! Beds and space good but not a cost place for the $300 per night!!! Not going there again. Sorry!

Yelp
It honestly feels like I got scammed staying at this place. We checked in and the receptionist gave us a slip to put on our car dashboard - I figured this was just a precaution to prevent outsiders from using their parking lot. She then noticed we had a small dog, and said, "Oh and you have a pet!" I asked if that was alright and she said "Absolutely!" Everything good so far, I thought. We got into our room, and it appeared to not even have been cleaned. There were trash wrappers on the floor, someone else's wads of hair, as well as a dirty sock in the corner. I requested a room switch. Upon check-out, the bill was nearly twice as high as I anticipated. After examining the itemized bill, I discovered a series of random charges, including parking (charged for BOTH nights), an exorbitant pet fee (no mention of that!), and just many other BS fees that made no sense. What they're doing is perfectly legal, but it's just scummy and deceptive that they don't communicate ANY of the many hidden charges that you'll only be aware of after you check-out. Won't stay here again.

Yelp
This place was a very cookie-cutter hotel with the amenities you would expect. There is a pool, but it was uninviting and on at least one evening a pool party under my window, which I did not appreciate. The breakfast is extra although they do give you free coffee.

Erikac C.

Yelp
We decided to stay here because we have a travel trailer and they allowed us to park it in the parking lot. We stayed 2 nights! So that was great. We also have a dog and the website stated that it was dog friendly and they gave out dog beds, bowls, toys and treats!! When I went to the front desk and asked for the dog items he didn't know what I was talking about and said " It must be another hotel, Ive never heard of that " I looked it up again and showed him the website!! He then asked the Manager and she could care less and said it was from a old website! That's false advertisement!! If you know you no longer offer that take it off the website!!!! It would have saved me trips to my trailer getting everything stated on the website! I got no apology for the false advertisement the manager just shut the door! Customer service is lacking so if you have a dog bring your own bed, bowls and treats!

Bryant L.

Yelp
Asked for a letter from the manager and after 3 months and countless phone calls and emails....guess what. I still don't the letter confirming my stay. I even offered to write a draft for them to edit to save them time and they said no thanks.

Yelp
This hotel does not have its operations in order. We booked and paid for 3 nights in a king room as part of a wedding block, and when we arrived, they had apparently lost our first night stay entirely. They then told us that theres only one room available and put us in a cheaper 2 queen bed CONJOINED room, but upon getting to the room, we went onto their website and saw that there was a king suite available for the same night. We went back downstairs to ask why we were lied to about room availability, and turns out the site is incorrect- Not only were there no rooms available, there was ANOTHER family whose reservation "got lost" and weren't able to get a room. The manager was nowhere to be seen (Which appears to be a consistent theme with other reviews), and the folks working the front desk appeared to have no agency to actually resolve any issues. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you like actually like being able to stay in the place you reserved and paid for. UPDATE: The soundproofing is also remarkably miserable. You can hear music from cars in the parking lot through one wall, and people having conversations in the hall through the other.

Lisa T.

Yelp
Hotel was just ok. They do charge for parking, which is odd since it's not a parking garage or anything. Also the breakfast at the hotel is super pricey. Cost $30 just for eggs over easy with toast bacon and a pod latte drink. Better to eat outside the hotel

TK N.

Yelp
Just a heads-up for anyone considering this hotel: they don't provide in-room amenities. The only items available are a toothbrush and makeup remover, and even those are provided only upon request. Considering the high price, it's really disappointing. :(

Brett P.

Yelp
Latin woman named Carina at front desk is hardly hospitable. Asked her for some suggestions and she was short and very rude. Needs to be reminded of her role in customer service.

Christine B.

Yelp
We chose this hotel based on location and the number of stars versus the price point. Hotel Indigo is worth a stay because its price point is lower than other surrounding hotels. Our one night stay on a Saturday was about $300 plus parking. Would consider staying here again in the future due to the location if you are just looking for a place to sleep. We checked in towards dinnertime and were out by 7 am the next day. --Check in - staff is very efficient about this, they have a binder where they've pulled all your paperwork, have your room key etc so check in is a breeze! -- Parking - you have to pay for parking and put the parking permit on the dash board over night; we saw someone walking around and checking -- Location - best part of the hotel because of its proximity to the wineries and Yountville area; overall we also felt pretty safe in the area. The hotel parking lot was well lit. While some hotel rooms face the street, it was pretty quiet. -- Hotel Quality - this drives the overall 3 star review. Hotel Indigo is labeled as a four star hotel; but it misses the mark on a 4 star hotel. The overall hotel looks like an older motel that has seen many renovations to try to cover up what it once was. The hallway is dark, kind of smelly and gives off bad vibes. The elevator is a long walk from the lobby as well. The beds and linens were fine. The bathroom shower and toilet area was small and the fan was really loud. The room itself wasn't too spacious or too small, but a bit dim. They provide water from a fountain in the lobby, no bottled water in rooms. There is not much gathering space outside or inside besides the pool and a small eating restaurant area.

Yelp
We have stayed here several times when in town visiting family and will again our next trip. We had a minor issue which the front desk brought the General Manager into assisting us and the sign of a well run business is rectifying issues to guest satisfaction. The staff is amazing and a great location for us.

Jenn H.

Yelp
I've stayed here a few times, usually getting in to town late. The first time the room was great; clean, tidy and a good size. The next time there was an issue with the bathroom sink not draining properly. The most recent stay had to be the worst though. The room looked very run down, there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom which wouldn't go away and parts of the room look like they hadn't been cleaned.

Wendy C.

Yelp
Strongly would not recommend staying here. We booked a room block for our wedding but multiple guests had issues. The best part is that the manager contacted me & gave me his email so that I could send him proof of reservation for one of our guests as well as other issues that our guests had. It's been a month & I've received NO RESPONSE despite multiple guests having multiple issues over the span of just 2 days at the hotel. ISSUES - One party had a reservation that began on Friday but were told that their reservation didn't start until Saturday. The room block dashboard I was provided clearly showed that their reservation had been correctly booked for Friday though & hadn't been modified for months. When I called the manager, he conveniently said the reservation couldn't be found. I then asked for his email so I could send him a screenshot of the dashboard - haven't received a response at all. - One party was given a room key to an occupied room. When they opened the door, they saw someone who was naked. They had to go down to the front desk to request a new room. Really don't understand how an occupied room can be given to a guest that's checking in - seems like a major privacy issue. - Multiple guests told us they had to wait a while to check in despite arriving after check-in time since the hotel was overbooked. It wasn't a holiday weekend & our hotel block was booked at least 3 months in advance - not sure why they would overbook when they had more than enough advance notice about our room block. Have submitted a complaint to IHG as well & received no response. Terrible customer service overall & they clearly don't care about their guests. Wish I had seen all the previous negative reviews before committing to a room block since it was embarrassing that our guests had to deal with so may issues.

Yelp
Hotel Índigo Napa is a clean place to take a break between wine tastings. Thank you Marisol and Sade for the easy check in. Loved the hot rain shower! Il Posto is just across the street--a locals' choice for fresh Italian food or drive into town in six minutes. Good last minute spot to stay over!

Tita J.

Yelp
Last second decision to go to napa. We took a chance and wow. Staff is very helpful and attentive. We literally witnessed them deal with a belligerent guest with grace, patience and professionalism. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, toiletries fantastic. Close to the vine trail and easily accessible to everywhere. it's all you need ..We enjoyed happy hour in the lobby with our newly purchased bottles on our tours. Mayah, Kyra, and Mark were soo helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Beth F.

Yelp
Stayed here for one night when I was in the area for work. I really just needed a bed for the night but I'm glad I ended up here! Amenities are pretty bare bones, but the room I was in was super clean and the bed and pillows were so comfy. I'm bummed I didn't have time to use the pool. The location is great, just off the main road in a quieter part of town. Good middle ground for visiting places further north and Napa proper. I'll definitely be back!

Peipei Y.

Yelp
I chose this hotel because it was the cheapest one above 3 stars, still it was over 300 per night. The service was great, but the hotel itself was horrible. Old, dirty, sticky floor, don't even mention there was a vomiting smell in the hallway. I can not believe a 4 star hotel t could be like this.

Tiki L.

Yelp
Hotel was fine for us. The front desk staff was nice and professional. Check in with smooth. We got a second floor room with two queen beds. Room was clean. Overall, the hotel seemed pretty clean and tidy. This place was pretty kid friendly. Hotel seemed pretty quiet. We would come back!

Helen L.

Yelp
Thank you Max for making our breakfast so enjoyable with our breakfast included in the lodging. Sit down breakfast and order from the menu. Stayed at Hotel Indigo. Bed was comfortable. Near the wine train tracks. Quiet. 2nd floor. Hot water was fast for shower.

Yelp
We are very loyal to the IHG brand. We have earned Diamond Elite status. If you are a loyal IHG customer, you know that different brands imply different levels of quality--which demand different levels of expectations. When you first pull into the parking lot, you'll realize it used to be a Best Western. It's not an especially sexy first impression. They've tried to cover the building's interior with a bit of IHG/Indigo style with mixed results. Here are three critical pieces of feedback you need to know before you decide to book here. (1) Despite the semi-rural setting and plentiful parking, this property charges $8.95 per night plus tax for parking--a blatant nickel-and-diming money grab. (2) The bathroom is basically non-functional. There is no light over the sink and the backlit mirror doesn't provide sufficient lighting to shave, apply makeup, or whatever it is you need to do in a properly functioning bathroom. (3) The thermostat in our room doesn't work. (I was told this is the case in many but not all rooms.) The hotel knows it doesn't work because they put a sign on it. (See the photos below.) We were instructed to pull the white cabinet structure surrounding the air-conditioning unit from the wall and manually adjust the temperature. (Here's a suggestion: if you know the thermostat doesn't work, fix it.) On a positive note, the staff is friendly, understanding, and apologetic. (Because honestly, you really need to be.) But they deserve a better property to defend.

Buzz A.

Yelp
This is not the place in Napa to stay as there are so many better alternatives at the same price. First, not that friendly people. Not ugly, just not that friendly. Second, very few electric outlets. When this old hotel was remodeled, they didn't bother to upgrade the electric outlets, so the only wall outlet is in the bathroom. The inside hotel restaurant is barely operational with a small selection. I skipped that experience. No comp. breakfast but snack food is sold at higher prices. A surprise fee is for parking which is $10 per day. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, TV and internet worked, and location is quiet, so they get 2 stars for at least doing the basics. A block away is one of the finest Italian restaurants in Napa (go figure), Il Posto. Might need a reservation for them. Mostly it was lack of outlets that bugged me.

Sarah N.

Yelp
Maybe somewhere between a 2 to 3 on Yelp, but giving them the benefit of the doubt. Like many hotels in wine country, they have the same look...two stories, maybe an old school feel of an upscale motor lodge where you pull up to your hotel front door, maybe the same feel, but you enter your hotel from the inside. Maybe tacky wine themed motif decor around. General hotel lobby for simply check-in/check out, maybe a small breakfast area. All always pricey, but no real bells and whistles. Again, address is different, wine valley might be different, but the look is the same. I would say Hotel Indigo in Napa Valley falls into this same category for me, but with the added negatives....our shower drain was barely draining (love standing in the germs and backed up water of all guests that came before...yucky!), all table tops from credenza to bed side tables have dust on backside where housekeeping simply is not wiping down the entire top and it was not until the middle of the night when it was super chilly that we realized our hotel window located behind the closed shutters had been left open from the prior guest (great security mishap!). The bed was actually comfortable though, so there is that redeeming factor. At $500+ a night, these housekeeping mishaps I find inexcusable. So when in area again, I would select another hotel.

Joyce W.

Yelp
Lowering the rating to a 3 as the wifi was really very very slow and constantly disconnected and then I discovered several areas of the room that need repairing. The hotel overall is still quite nice, but seems contrived in several ways. I think the rooms get used up than they're able to keep up with the updating. See prior review for more info.

Yelp
Stay away from this HOTEL! They are too cold to help you anything... Before coming there, I accidentally cancelled my non-refundable booking. But right after 15 mins, I immediately called them and ask if they can either reinstate it or change to another day instead of wasting my money due to my mistake. But they strongly said that is the policy and you have to rebook it... with "I am sorry". This is absurd! Eventually, I have to call their parent IHG group, and a nice manager helped me out and reinstated it, after half day.... After arriving, the building is old and small. I have been assigned to a room next to Electric room and a big A/C machine (too noisy!!) Then, I asked them if I can move to another one because I am so sensitive with noise when sleep. But that lady at the front door, again, "I am sorry", we are fully booked without even checking the computer!!! After a silence in 30 sec, I asked, if there is anything you can help. She replied so quick and say, "No. I am sorry"... Wow... did they ever get trained, or this is part of their training in this hotel!!?? Unbelievable! At the night time, there were parties and music in the hallway... Plus, the pet fee is $75 per stay (much higher than others), and $10 parking per day with an empty parking lot... wow.... Please reconsider to stay in this hotel!

Peter L.

Yelp
This hotel prob deserves 4.5 stars, it's conveniently located off St. Helena Hwy, clean, safe and chic. The furnishings were contemporary and rather chic, definitely 1 notch above the average hotel/motel. We liked the layout and designs of the bathroom, the giant wall mural of a bicycle reminded us of the wall murals we saw in Penang. The bed was very comfy and so were the pillows which were quite fluffy and plush. The plantation shutters worked great, and there was plenty of desk space beneath the TV. There was even a chaise lounge chair by the window, perfect place to chillax after excessive wine tasting. We stayed at the hotel twice recently. The first time the pool was opened but you had to RSVP, as they restrict the number of guests per time slot. The 2nd visit the pool was closed. Location wise it's very convenient, 10 min from Napa downtown or Yountville. Would deb be back whenever the price is right.

Lian B.

Yelp
Fantastic! Me and my husband were visiting for my son in law's wedding and boy let me tell you I wish i can rate the front desk 10+ stars based off the excellent customer service we received! Check in was quick, easy and they even had a pamphlet of recommendations of nice restaurants and wineries close by the area! Kyra and Charles are SUPERB! She even came to my room to drop off things we requested so we wouldn't have to wait. The food is delicious! The dinner was FANTASTIC! The pool was perfect! The bed was like a cloud! I will definitely come back here again!

Wynesha K.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay here. It's nothing fancy but it does what it's supposed to do. The end of the building we were on was the far end which was a good walk from the front. It was quiet but it smelled of old perfume when you enter the building but the room was ok. The room gets stuffy without vents but the wall window AC unit clears it up so it was ok. The beds and pillows were so so so comfy and just enough covers. Very friendly staff and the room are decent. The only thing I didn't like was that the room was a little small with no vents and does not come with a microwave. It has a refrigerator but no microwave go figure.... What I liked was it was quiet until about morning with people over us walking hard not sure if it was due to check out at 11 but I get it. We also were given tickets to the Blue Note Napa lounge for each night we stayed. They have a hotel cafe which has various open hours throughout the week but you can buy wine until 2am from the front desk. They have a 24 hour fitness center and a pool. I would stay here again as it was nicely located to the vineyards. Again Its not fancy fancy but it not the slums it fits right in the middle of a down-to-earth home stay. It does what it needs to do for a good nights sleep. There was a lady who worked nights she was the sweetest and told us of places to visit and gave us fresh towel at request. We will return and recommend the stay.

Skylar W.

Yelp
Hate writing bad reviews but hoping I can save someone else any trouble. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Booked a "refundable" room with them and tried to cancel my reservation 8 days before my check in date only to be told it wasn't refundable and there was nothing they could do. Called and kept trying for about 5 days and a spoke to about 8 different people, all of which were unhelpful and showed no care. Managers were conveniently unavailable every time I asked for one Book here if you want to potentially waste a bunch of time and money! :)

David L.

Yelp
We stayed here over new years for a few nights with our dog. First off, Marisol and Diana were great and super nice. But overall, the hotel is kind of a mess. Just some of the problems we had: -Disconnected phone -Dirty linens -Busted crown moulding -Peeling wall paper -Running toilet When checking out, they were super rude. I asked for late checkout and they just straight up said no at first. Then I had to remind him that I was a platinum member. Said they can't do 2pm but 1pm is available. "So, you want it?" Unfortunately, if you want a dog friendly hotel, this is one of the better options in the area and we were really busy so didn't stay in the hotel that much.

Marissa D.

Yelp
Kyra, Thea, and Imani took the BEST care of us during our stay. These three went above and beyond - honestly they should get a raise. The hotel was clean, comfy, and friendly. Highly recommended. If you are here during a shift when the girls are here you are a Lucky duck!! They are amazing

Howard B.

Yelp
The best way I could describe this hotel is a refurbished Motel 6 that is in disrepair and has certainly seen better days. Don't let the initial charm and pretty exterior of this hotel fool you. I would never stay here, but this is the only place I am able to redeem my free night certificate, so for the $49 fee that costs, I cannot complain too much. But I would never, ever pay the regular nightly rate and I would most certainly stay somewhere else if I were actually paying for the hotel. Let me sum this place up with a list of pros and cons in case you're considering staying at this property. PROs: *Convenient location - close to highways, wine tasting, and downtown Napa *Generally friendly staff *Nice outdoor pool area *Air conditioning works well *Great gym with good equipment and weights *Excellent makeup mirror and high quality iron *High quality toiletries CONs: *Poorly laid out rooms with dim lighting (at night) and few options for plugging in phones, laptops, etc *Dirty rooms - dust everywhere, mold in showers, caulking needs replacement - we even found someone else's hairs in our sheets - eew! *Malfunctioning plumbing - our toilet was constantly clogged and the shower leaked so badly it flooded the entire bathroom floor. The bathroom sink kept clogging too. This property has MAJOR plumbing problems and I doubt they're doing much about it except random cheap patchwork. Disgusting! *Absolutely no noise insulation - you can hear EVERYTHING at all hours of the day and night *Bed is slightly uncomfortable and sinks in *Poorly run cafeteria - one waitress for all of the guests, and the food came out cold and flavorless. There was little black specs of dirt in our water and I found cheese crust on my pancakes! CONCLUSION: This hotel is overpriced and not a good value at all, but if all you want a centrally located hotel with no frills and everything else is booked up, then it may be adequate for your needs, but be sure to bring a plunger because you might need it! This hotel is run by greedy people and they cut costs wherever they can. There is only one maintenance guy for the entire property that I saw (he seemed nice, but stressed). I can tell that most people don't enjoy working here and seem stressed out. BOTTOM LINE: Avoid. I'm sure there are better places nearby. NOTE: While I waited in the lobby, I overheard a lady complain that her shower and refrigerator were both broken and that she was supposed to have them fixed last night.

Yelp
I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo for a last minute girls trip. We booked 2 joining rooms and 2 queen beds in each room. Check in was very easy and smooth. The rooms were very very clean! There was a lot of natural light from the large windows! I loved that because it made doing my makeup very easy ;) There are aveda toiletries provided and plenty of pillows and towels. The staff was friendly and the the location was very convenient. The pool was closed and the breakfast/office area closed due to COVID. There's free parking and there were no noise complaints for me!!

Bobby C.

Yelp
I've been to the indigo several times and IMANI gave me the best service by far! She made sure I felt comfortable to stay here longer so I even extended my stay.

Caroline M.

Yelp
I unloaded a few hotel points to stay here and it turned out to be a good decision. We stayed three nights here and loved the central location.... close to downtown Napa (which is super cute and everyone needs to go!) and also very drivable to all of the area wineries. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are staying in this area.

Saint I.

Yelp
The manger was very rude and his employees followed suit. From check in to the stay was horrible. Our room was not cleaned the excuse was they had a full house. It could have been shared that there would be modified housekeeping service. However we did not get modified they gave us a trash bag and told us basically to clean our own room and pick up trash. We has ask prior to going to our event if they could clean our room and add more towels neither was done. They were very racist had we been another nationality this would have never happened. I don't care if the customer gets smart remove yourself out the equation it's your duty to provide excellent customer service. Considering there was a pandemic and some folks lost their jobs.

Maureen C.

Yelp
Decided to book here for a short getaway and for a conference. The thought of having to wake up early and drive to Napa in the rain had me unenthused so I went for the option of leaving after work and staying overnight instead. The room was nice and comfortable. Check in was ok. Probably not the most ergonomic entrance for some as you'll have to go down a few steps to the check in. No ramp if you're on a wheelchair and a bit tricky if you didn't pack lightly. The housekeepers were really friendly. The other guests I ran to equally as goofy and slightly loopy...must be the wine. However the room was a welcome refuge. It had everything you needed in there from a writing desk to outlets, a huge tv where you can plug in random usb, adapters etc etc. The shower was nice and clean. You can fit someone over 6 feet under the shower head or use a separate handheld shower...your choice. Thankful for the keurig choices like green tea, decaf and regular coffee. I slept well and comfortably and wished I booked longer as the weather started to take a turn for the better...sigh...next time perhaps.

Yi Z.

Yelp
This is the worst hotel we stayed during the trip. Full of fallen leaves in the garden, the day is hot but the hotel like feel cold and dismal. Very bad smell in the bathroom. The dinner menu is not like in a hotel, sure of course the taste is not good. I even didn't get refund of my deposit after 10 days i checked out. Not valuable, not feel comfortable, not good at all.

Natasha H.

Yelp
If I could, I would rate this hotel 0 stars. Such a terrible experience. Booked a two night stay for an anniversary weekend and the room was horrible! The shower head did not work, the drains were clogged, the phone didn't work, it was dirty and not worth the money. Pictures below of the clogged shower and hair all over the floor. The bed linens were so wrinkled. We brought up concerns to management and all he did was go to the room and say that the items were in fact not working. Duh! So disappointed that we paid so much money for a run down hotel/room.

Yelp
Hotel Indigo did not disappoint. The bed here is amazing and the sheets are so soft and smooth. Room is spacious and clean with a nice size shower. This is our first visit at this hotel and we will definitely come back.

Yelp
The mini fridge didn't work. The cabinets in the room hadn't been cleaned in a really long time if ever. I've been fighting with them for months about overcharging me.

Yelp
Platinum ambassador member here. A few hours prior to check in I called and spoke to someone who said there were suites available for a free upgrade but I should ask again and check in because they could possible be booked. Totally understand that. Few hours later at check in I'm told there are no upgrades available. Clearly the front desk is new as the welcome points or beverage was not offered. I quickly checked the IHG app and saw that multiple suites were still available for booking. I asked the front desk why an upgrade was not possible if there were suites available for booking. She didn't know and went to get her manager, Jessica, who aggressively explained to me how there's nothing available for me and someone with status above me (Spire status) was given the upgrade and there are no more suites available. I asked again that if I could book a suite for that very day, how come nothing was available? She snarkily retorted that they were fully booked and nothing was available and the app was incorrect. I really don't know if they were truly overbooking rooms or she was just saying that, but hard to believe they were not available. Somewhere in her tirade I vaguely remember her mentioning there were only 6 suites on the property, which would make sense because when I tried to "rebook" to check availability, FIVE were available for booking, which lines up with one other person being upgraded to the suite. Maybe they only a lot one of the six suites for upgrades. I would've been totally understanding if this was explained to me in a nice manner. However the fact that someone from the property told me there were available suites for upgrade (I booked two rooms) only a few hours before I arrived paired with there being suites available for booking and the inconsistent information being provided by this properties employees really make me doubt that. This experience was infuriating, The manager, Jessica, really needs to be retrained on how to provide customer service. Why is she in the hospitality industry when she can't answer a simple question most properties probably get all the time from loyal members? She literally made me feel like I was doing something wrong by asking a question. The only perk of membership I was able to take advantage of was my early check in, which Jessica rubbed in my face. "You're already getting early checkin, be happy with that".... One of the worst checkin experiences I've ever had. Thanks Jessica. Overall the property is ok, quiet, modern updates, basic amenities. I would give the property 3.5-4 stars on Yelp. Service, 1 star is being generous. Hope upper management sees this and retrains Jessica.

Yelp
We are staying here now. Slept well, but have been disappointed and frustrated the next morning by a few important things. First, no hot water. I called the front desk. They said the water heaters are down. No ETA...we are going to a wedding in a few hours so as you can imagine this is a nightmare. Second, no room service I guess. I tried calling the front desk first thing this morning because we only had one coffee pod. One! Front desk was a busy signal for at least an hour. My partner got dressed and went to the breakfast common room to get coffee. Not a big deal I suppose, but we are paying $450 a night... the other odd thing is that we have to pay $10 a night for parking. It's not valet or even a parking garage. It's just a parking lot at the hotel. Why do I have to pay for that??? No help for your luggage either. Lol Another weird thing is the tiny bottle of shampoo for two people. I mean there's stingy and then there's stingy. Is that one little bottle for the both of us for four nights? The front desk said if we want more we need to request it. Lol When my partner went to get coffee this morning there was a huge line at the front desk and people didn't seem happy. I don't know. We might just go check out the Motel 6 and ditch this place. Hopefully we can get a refund.... UPDATE: we checked out on Sunday morning. Thankfully Expedia was able to help me book at the Marriott down the street. When I looked at the invoice, Saturday night at Hotel Indigo was $600!!! For a place with no hot water and terrible service and so many other issues, that is an absolute rip off. The Marriott was a far better experience. I'll always book there when I stay in Napa.

Yelp
Happy to have found this hotel for a quick Napa trip. Nothing fancy but for the price compared to all the other places around that were double the amount? This place was reasonably priced and had good value so I'll take it! The rooms were modern and clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a little small but shower was well designed and the hot water worked fine. Fitness center is small too but had well maintained equipment. Hotel Location was central. Staff was very accommodating and allowed us to check out at 12pm.

Yelp
Hotel Indigo is a nice lodging option for a trip to the Napa Valley. I stayed there once a few years ago on a girls' trip, and this past weekend again, with my partner. It is just as nice as I remembered from years ago. For the price point, it's hard to beat. On a Sunday night, it was $135/night, extremely reasonable for the quality! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The bed was SO comfy. They also have a patio area downstairs where you can enjoy sipping on some wine. They have a pool which is currently open. This is a good sized hotel, perfect if you're traveling with a larger group. It's about 4 miles from downtown Napa. We will be staying there again.

Yelp
I was really surprised at the shape this little hotel was in. Having stayed here before in 2018, the level of most things has dipped way low. It is rated 4 stars however, it is anything BUT!! The carpets are dirty and have an odor about them, the rooms are clean enough and the bed is comfortable but, you can see where the upgrades started and finished. Worst of all the lighting in every room (we were with many people that all had rooms) was so dark it was an issue when applying makeup and dressing. Keep in mind that the air conditioning units were in the wall and cycled on and off very loudly, so if you hate that kind of thing, this is not the hotel for you. To make matters worse, there are all kinds of people parking on the side of the hotel in the red zone that make noises all night. I watched a drug deal happen right outside the window. My sisters room that was on the back side of the hotel, witnessed what appears to be a car break in. Someone at 2 AM was outside yelling and throwing things and the car alarm was cycling on and off. In the morning the cars hatch was open and all of their stuff was strewn about. Everything from golf clubs to clothes. There is clearly an issue with crime there, so remove all items from your car at night. The security doors which were right there are also worn out and looks like they have been kicked in....ANYTHING BUT SECURE!! That was concerning, since all that car vandalism was taking place steps from this entrance. This is a pet friendly hotel. I heard pups barking late at night a couple of times and whoever was smoking, and also taking their dog out to pee let them do it all over the cigarette ashtray thingy right next to the middle entrance!!!! Although, maybe it was homeless person taking a whiz?? I WILL SAY....The staff was kind and attentive. The gentleman at the bar who made the coffee in the morning was so sweet and helpful. The ladies at the front desk were also very cheerful and seemed like they enjoyed their job. In the future I will seek out another option from this hotel.

Yelp
Sooo...apparently I didn't read the reviews thoroughly, but now I want to know who Jessica is lol!! I only stayed here for one night since we had to leave early in the morning. I surprised my bf with a mini trip, so I booked the hotel and was looking for a decent, affordable one since I was paying (hehe). After reading the reviews on google, I was like "ding ding" this one is perfect. Eight minutes away from our destination, looks clean and is affordable. If that's what you're looking for, just book the hotel. It's not bad!! I thought the bed was comfortable enough but my bf said it sunk in a little...and apparently the water pressure in the shower was a 3 out of a 5 according to him! Like...dang that's not important to me but clearly it is to him! Haha! We did have some noisy upstairs neighbors though...I mean who's fault is that?? My bf was like, "the lady's in the front saw you and were like, let's ruin her night and put her under some kids" obviously he was joking!! Anywaaaayyyyyy...this is a decent hotel for the price you pay...you want a nice, bougie hotel? Go stay in one please. I saw many hotels around that area that will satisfy and exceed your needs.

Yelp
It was ok. Nice enough to stay while doing a wine tour, etc., when you consider style and cleanliness. Food was good, but only has beer and wine (No liquor) at the restaurant/bar. My room #249 in particular had some flaws. The front desk talked it up as a "pool view" room....well, as you can see from the picture, it is a "tree view". The deadbolt did not work...not that I felt unsafe, but hotel safety items should always be working. And there is hardly any light by the mirrors on the bathroom area. Hard to see your face! (Well, that could be a good thing) If the front desk would have at least pretended to care about my feedback, might have said 3.5 stars. Otherwise, not horrible. Enjoy!

Yelp
Front staff customer service was terrible. Booked and showed up with a confirmation and was told to 'GO sit DOWN" until they can find the booking. Was told "it comes over by fax machine" not online. Had many business stays here while in Napa but no more. Usually has good service, but this is a real mis-hire. Too bad.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel for two nights at $350 per night plus tax and charged $10 for parking each night and taxed that as well. We did not have our roomed cleaned, the parking lot charges were not stated in the booking information. Based on the location of the hotel, near the railroad parking on the street would not be advisable or safe. I will not be returning to this hotel thank you.
