Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong by IHG

Had the privilege of staying at Hotel Indigo this weekend, 7-8 Mar with my family of 3 and 2 furkids. We booked 2 connecting rooms under the Pet Getaway Package. We had an enjoyable time and our 2 dogs were pampered with lovely amenities and a welcoming environment. The staff were friendly, hospitable and professional. The lovely peranakan vibes throughout the property blended well with the charming Katong neighbourhood. Thanks to the team at Hotel Indigo. Keep up the great work. We would definitely recommend the property to other paw-parents. Hope to be back in the near future 👏👏👏

It was our first time having a staycation at Hotel Indigo and we truly had a wonderful experience! We stayed to celebrate our little one’s birthday. Wilson, who assisted us at the front desk, kindly upgraded our room to one with a bathtub after learning that our child loves playing in the tub. It was so thoughtful of him. I had also arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered directly to the hotel. As we arrived later than expected, the hotel staff kindly helped to receive it on my behalf, which I really appreciated. During the stay, we encountered a small issue with the sliding door being stuck halfway. After calling the receptionist, a staff member came very quickly and fixed it for us right away—prompt and efficient service! Overall, we had a great stay with friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Thank you, Hotel Indigo team, for making our little celebration so memorable. We will definitely be back!

We had a really lovely overnight stay at his hotel and had a very enjoyable experience. All staff were caring and helpful. The room was light bright and very comfortable. The hotel has a really chic vibe with colourful and traditional decor. Also a fantastic infinite pool. We were in transit from Uk to New Zealand so perfect stop over, as only 15 mins from airport and a great area for walking along the East Coast park, traffic fee, sea air and greenery. Easy MRT trains into city if needed just around the corner.

Decided to experience this distinctive hotel along East Coast Road near Katong i12 Mall, and it was a delightful stay. The Peranakan-inspired concept is beautifully executed — from the architecture and interior design to the curated details and nostalgic local snacks, everything felt thoughtfully authentic and culturally rooted. Breakfast at Baba Chew was well presented with a modest yet sufficient buffet selection, complemented by freshly prepared warm dishes upon order. Service was warm, attentive, and efficient throughout. The room size was ideal for a solo traveler or a couple, offering both comfort and functionality. The location is excellent, with many popular cafés, heritage spots, and shopping options within easy walking distance. A charming boutique property with strong character and a sense of place. A very pleasant and memorable stay.

the room is very spacious, clean and vibrant. the wifi also very fast though out the whole hotel and pool area is nice feels private.. the breakfast also excellent with wide selection and top notched service . We spent 4 nights definitely value for money and would go back

Overall we were very happy with our stay at Indigo. The rooms are decorated in traditional style and the facilities are good. The separation of eh toilet and bathroom is a little odd, but works well enough. The bed was very comfortable. The main criticism is the inadequate curtains which are a light colour and therefore the room becomes light from sunrise onwards. Darker curtains would improve this.|No decent work desk, just a table and sofa.|Staff were all very nice. The swimming pool and gym area were both adequate.|Easy walk through to the MRT station at Marine Parade, and good range of eating places nearby. Fix the curtains, and we'd come back!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Singapore. The breakfast at Baba Chews was excellent, with great variety and quality. It was definitely a highlight of my mornings. All the staff were super friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. My room was sparkling clean and well maintained, with a beautiful view that made my stay extra enjoyable. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Highly recommended, and I would happily stay here again!

We stayed for 6 nights. The location was perfect for us. A Lovely historic neighborhood with plenty of interesting shopping and food while the MRT Station is 5 mins walk away. The hotel and rooms are tastefully decorated in a combination of traditional and modern. Having a separate bathroom and toilet is a welcome difference from other hotels. The staff are friendly and efficient and it is nice to see familiar faces each day. We really enjoyed the breakfast, both cooked and the local breakfast options. Thanks to Joan, Nathan, Sebastian and Merivel for looking after us all week. We have no complaints and would absolutely stay at the Indigo again.

We stayed four nights at the Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong. I was super excited to book this hotel with points! My IHG card was full of points and when you book with IHG, the 4th night is free. With my IHG card, I also had platinum elite status. We arrived via Grab car from Changi Airport and walked into the cool air conditioned lobby. It was wonderful considering the humidity. We were greeted by Tiffanie and she got us checked in. We were given a room on the 14th floor and it was lovely. We were told that we had been upgraded from the standard King room which was really nice. It didn't have a bathtub but the shower that was separate from the toilet area was really nice. The layout of the room is spacious. The closet space was great along with the fluffy robes. There was a Nespresso machine along with nostalgic candies in the cabinet. I loved the White Rabbit candy from my childhood. The amenities in the room were lovely. The hotel also has a rooftop pool which was really nice on the warm days we were staying there. We also checked out the gym but didn't use it. Our favorite thing was the complimentary refillable water bottles in the room. There was a distilled water machine downstairs by the lobby entrance which we fully utilized since they charge for water at restaurants in Singapore. I had brought my water bottle from home so I was happy they gave us this option. The staff was so nice too. Everyone I encountered was lovely. The hotel is in the Katong area near shopping malls, loads of restaurants, and a bus station. The Katong neighborhood is pretty much a foodie mecca. We were down the street from a lot of popular restaurants. We were not close to Marina Bay but had to hop on a bus and a metro to get there. We also utilized the Grab cars when needed. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel since it was further away from the busier touristy spots.

Such a comfortable & wonderful stay! We stayed here to be closer to the airport and it was a good location. The hotel has as much charm as the neighborhood which made this stay more memorable. The room was clean and spacious. During our stay here we relaxed on the rooftop pool which has nice skyline views.

Great location near shopping, malls and plazas, and restaurants. If you're looking to try the Katong area I highly recommend the convenience of the hotel. It is also very clean and has a lot of vibrant and authentic flare.

What a great inexpensive hotel with very friendly staff and excellent uniquely decorated rooms, they put a toilet and sink along the hallway wall and a second sink / shower right up again the the windows. Too bad I was only here over night, I will have to stay here again the next time I come to Singapore.

This hotel is wonderful! We had hospitable service everywhere, the room service was delicious, and the decor was fun and comfortable! They even sent cake up to us as it was our honeymoon! Look forward to returning!

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a while. The check in process was quick and easy. The rooms are beautiful with excellent views. Rooms come with a foot bath and a free phone for use while you're in the city to avoid roaming charges. Also all of the normal amenities you would expect. The view from the workout and pool area is breathtaking. Infinity pool at the top is great.

Love this place. Great service, rooftop pool is legit, walking distance to lots of good food spots, transit bus is just right outside the hotel.
