We chose the hotel because of the unique design (former bank building incl. vault in the basement) for our family stay of 2 nights. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner without prior notification, but with sufficient restaurant options within 500m walking distance this was no big issue. Breakfast was well arranged but not as overloaded as in other hotels, several á la carte options to choose from allowed sufficient choices. Room design was refreshing and functional. Staff members we encountered were helpful, friendly and proactive, thank you very much.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. The hotel is right next to the palace and we got to see the arrival ceremony for an ambassador whilst having breakfast. ||Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. Previously a bank there are lots of nods to this in the decor. They even have a meeting room in the huge vault. ||Rooms are comfortable, I had to ask reception to switch air con to heating mode. Everything needed was in the room - hairdryer, robe, slippers etc. The spacious shower was great. Complimentary water although this wasn't topped up during our 5 day stay. You could select not to have your room cleaned each day in exchange for a free drink voucher which is a nice option.||Breakfast was good quality, relaxed and enjoyable. We didn't realise that the tourist tax was per person per day so this was an unexpected cost on check out of nearly 150 euros. ||The location is great with all the main attractions easily accessible from here. I would recommend a stay here.||

A Vault of Stories Beneath the Surface This is an amazing spot—aside from the fact that it’s a hotel. What sets it apart isn’t just the luxurious rooms or the attentive service, but the layers of history tucked into every corner. Once a grand bank, this building holds more than memories of financial transactions—it houses secrets, legends, and the kind of architectural storytelling that invites you to explore rather than just stay. Head down the original staircase and you’ll find what used to be the vault. It once safeguarded precious items, including the f golden plates. Rumor has it that someone went into hiding down there, and that secret holidays—private meetings or celebrations of forbidden ideas—were once held within these stone walls. The air is still thick with echoes. This place doesn’t just whisper its history; it breathes it. The building even inspired the setting for a popular series, and it’s easy to see why. With its moody lighting, dramatic architecture, and sense of concealed grandeur, every hallway feels like the opening scene of something cinematic. Stay for the comfort, yes—but linger for the story. It’s a hotel now, but it remains a vault of tales.

The is indeed a very unique Hotel Indigo. ||Notable property that once was a Bank, now elegantly converted into this cozy boutique hotel. ||Cozy atmosphere, beautifully decorated rooms with all the amenities required, as espresso machine, tea facilities, soft drinks at the mini bar, bathrobes and slippers, as well as automated electric curtains for the windows!! ||Modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed bathroom. |I really enjoyed my shower experience! The bathroom amenities are from Zenology, which smell fantastic! ||Staff was friendly and accommodating! ||The Bar was not open everyday of the week and the breakfast was a bit letdown - I guess this has to do with to the hotel being quite empty during this period. It was disappointing that I didn't know about the bar's operating days at the time of booking. Nevertheless, I would stay there again but only when the hotel would be in full operation! ||Thank you for our great stay!

The staff is amazing, every single person we met was kind and went above and beyond. The restaurant staff let my husband get coffee in the morning and did not charge for it. Wilder at the front desk helped my husband find a quiet spot to do a podcast recording after we checked out. They stored our luggage and provided restaurant recommendations. The hotel is right the middle of all the good stuff Hague has to offer. Highly recommend this property for your next stay in Hague

The location is the best part. I walked literally everywhere! It's an absolutely beautiful neighborhood and great for shopping. You have to pay if you want a decent view from your room so my view was of an alley. The bathroom was beautiful. They have umbrella rentals available for a price. I had a drink coupon and went down to the restaurant one night to find it was closed (I think it still said it was open online). The one staff member in the lobby was so sweet and kindly gave me a drink from the bar anyway. I really appreciated that. I would stay here again.

I highly recommend staying at this property for its location, bed comfort, ambience, great tasting breakfast and most of all the room’s quietness. The front desk staff and the breakfast servers were all friendly and are very attentive. The water pressure of the shower was also worth mentioning but the towels could be a little nicer.

No roomservice available. Restaurants and bars were simply closed after 3pm. No warning about this upon booking. Bad incident proved lack of safety procedures. Elevator stopped at 11pm with 6 of us in it. After 10minutes of ringing the alarm, no assistance or communication. Well, there was a guy stopping outside saying he would call someone. Not sure who that was. Alarm was not connected to emergency units and no one competent available. Had to rescue ourselves by opening door from inside and jump out between floors. Not very impressive… Nice location and could have been a nice place, but I would not recommend it until they get the concept and their service together.
