This hotel was the first we stayed at on the Italian leg of our recent holiday. It is ideally located within easy walking distance from both the railway station and the city old town..We had a room facing the road and whilst there was some traffic noise, this stopped during the evening. The room was well appointed and spacious. The only draw back was the actual shower size- it was very small. Breakfast was included in our fare and it offered a lot of variety- fantastic, the coffee was great. We found all staff to be very welcoming and professional

I stayed at the Indigo Verona for two nights as part of a tour group. I had a good stay, with one significant caveat.||The positives:|-Very friendly staff. Sara in the breakfast room particularly stood out for her very friendly greetings and excellent service. |-Climate control was good.|-Location. As everyone has mentioned, this hotel is extremely convenient to the major tourist sites and to some very good restaurants. |-The street-facing rooms were very quiet.|-I found the bed to be reasonably comfortable. ||The negatives:|-This is the big one: the standard room is tiny, even by European standards. You can barely move around the bed. I didn't need to spend a lot of time in the room, so this didn't undermine the quality of my stay, but it is something to be aware of when booking. |-The shower is also tiny. The opening to the cubicle is very narrow, and once you're inside there is barely any room to move around. |-No washcloth in the bathroom. This makes it difficult to remove your makeup properly at the end of the day. |-I didn't see any amenities in my bathroom (no shower cap, cotton buds, etc.), which is something I expect for a hotel room of this category.

The trip had been booked through a travel agent, who we assumed had done due diligence and knew well the hotels they offered to their customers. However, what we saw in their brochure and whatcee experienced were not the same. On the plus side, the hotel was in a good location; a 10 minute walk into the centre, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable had good quality linen but the pillows were very unforgiving.|On first glance the hotel looked to be 4*, however it left much to be desired; a 'Grand' Hotel it was not.|The pictures on line show sumptuous rooms with art on the walls, but our 'Premium' room was bare.|There was tea and coffee facilities but there were no chairs and no table to sit at- how room service works I can't comprehend.|The curtains were full of moth holes and the edge of one had no hook so was coming away from the window.|The paintwork was extremely shoddy and the wardrobe was chipped, dusty and needed a good clean and polish. I dread to think what the less expensive rooms were like.|We had a basic bathroom- no marble tiles like the photographs, - better spec in a Premier Inn, although we paid a premium price.|Unfortunately, this was only the first of four hotels we stayed at, all 4* or 5* that really were not as advertised.|Pre-Covid, the hotels we stayed|at were outstanding. How standards have changed in Italy.

This hotel is beautiful and in a prime location. You can walk to the city center and other sites you will want to see in Verona. The bar is really cute and has craft cocktails. The breakfast they offer is impeccable and their food service staff is their best staff, especially James! The in-room dining is so delicious and service is quick. Front desk was not wildly friendly but kind and helpful. We stayed in a king suite and it did feel a bit small, however, the terrace is very spacious and overlooks the city street. Expect a veryy small shower. The AC would not go below 23 degrees celsius and we felt like it turned off in the middle of the night so we were sweating every night, unfortunately. We did call the front desk to see if they could fix this and they sent someone to our room but they did not offer a solution so must be the norm. Other than that, we loved our stay here! Thank you for your hospitality!

This is a beautiful hotel in a classic Italian style. It is located at the main boulevard, where you find lovely restaurants and pubs. There is no private parking however public parking places are near by. The hotel has some nice offers in combination with the Arena theater. If you like opera, the Arena is on walking distance. Our room was spacious, with a high quality materials, in a classic style. The breakfast is western orientated, with an English breakfast as well. I missed the typical Italian hospitality, the hotel could just as well have been in London.

This is a reasonably located hotel, not in the best spot but 700m from the arena. ||We stayed in a room overlooking the road which was fine and I didn’t think the room was too small as others have mentioned. The bed was a good size and there was enough wardrobe space was a 3 or 4 day stay. However the bathrooms are just silly, other people have mentioned small but it’s the design decisions that make it worse. The shower is rectangular but the width I would say is c400-500mm which is small, however they have then decided to put the cheap plastic shower unit on the longer line of the rectangle making the width of the shower even smaller. I can hear u saying that it’s a city centre hotel so it’s gonna be small, but next to the shower is a basin with a footprint bigger than the shower tray. Smaller basin and a larger shower please. Just so frustrating because it makes showering so unpleasant that it becomes the thing u focus on. ||In all honesty the service from Mara on the front desk is what takes this from a three to four out of five, so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much bother. ||You have your staff to thank for making this a place I would consider but in all honesty that shower is hugely frustrating.

When we arrived, there was no valet to help us with our bags. When we checked in, they informed us that if we wanted breakfast, it was €50 per person per day. With paying nearly $700 a night Breakfast should’ve been included. In the bathroom, there were no toiletries not even a cotton bud or make up remover pad. The shower was quite small with good water pressure. The rooms were adequate, but not worth what we were charged.

This hotel is close to the station. I was able to walk from the station in 10 minutes. The hotel is about another 10 minute walk to the historical centre. ||My room was a queen bed room. It was small but comfortable. The bathroom is small and shower tiny. I’m a small adult and struggled to fit inside it. ||The breakfast selection was excellent. Great variety and plenty of choices.

Yelp
Decently located hotel. Just about a 10-15 min walk from the Verona train station, and maybe another 10 min walk to the Arena and some of the other more popular areas. Hotel itself was clean and well-kept. Breakfast was decent, with a combination of hot and cold food choices. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, as I kept getting an HTTP error when using certain apps or visiting certain websites on my phone, but I guess it "worked" in the sense that I was able to connect to the internet. Hotel service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
Great hotel in a convenient part of Verona. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station. Delicious breakfast is included in the room rate. Spacious quarters with comfortable beds, good size bathrooms, and a TV with several channels (some in English). Staff was very helpful and provided a map + directions. Verona is a beautiful city that's worth a visit plus stay at the Grand Hotel!

Yelp
The Grand Hotel is a short walk from the train station on the main strip leading into the town centre which makes it an ideal stop. Pleased to get this place for a very good price as it's a 4* hotel, the staff were extremely helpful and polite, and recommended a fantastic little restaurant for dinner. The room was spacious and had a huge en-suite bathroom. Unfortunately the view was over another building but to be honest you don't go to sit in the hotel and look out of the window! Free internet access and continental breakfast with hot breakfast available for extra. The décor and dining area were very nice, welcoming and relaxing and I found the room really comfortable as well.
