Hotel Indigo Verona - Grand Hotel Des Arts (Verona, Veneto) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Situated on Corso Porta Nuova, which leads directly to three of Verona’s major attractions, the Porta Nuova, Piazza Bra, and the Roman amphitheater, the Arena, Hotel Indigo Verona - Grand Hotel Des Arts is well situated for sightseeing. As the name suggests, art can be found throughout the 1920s Liberty-style building, while rooms feature a mix of classic and contemporary design elements that include ornately curved headboards as the decorative centerpiece. Bar Arya takes its design inspiration from the Opera “Romeo and Juliet” and serves light bites and drinks. There's also an outdoor terrace for summer, and a pleasant private garden and solarium." - Tablet Hotels

We are just finishing a 4 night stay here in Verona. The property is very clean, comfortable and an easy 5 minute walk straight to Piazza Bra. The staff were terrific and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. They recognized our anniversary and were quick with restaurant recommendations, reservations, directions, change and umbrellas. Special thanks to Emanuele at the front desk and Marian and James behind the bar as well as at breakfast for their professionalism, smiles and customer service skills. These gentlemen did a tremendous job representing the Indigo brand. The breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. The only negatives were low water pressure in the shower and the inability to cool the room down. We asked at the front desk but were told that nothing could be done.

We had an amazing experience during our stay at the Hotel Indigo in Verona. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Elizabet went above and beyond to assist us with dinner reservations and gave great suggestions for local places to eat. The manager even stopped by to chat with us in the bar lounge — such a thoughtful and personal touch.||A special shout-out to James at the bar, who was an absolute delight! His warm personality and excellent service made our evenings extra enjoyable.||We were truly impressed by the entire team and the genuine hospitality throughout our stay. We highly recommend the Hotel Indigo Verona and would happily return on our next visit to Italy!

A great hotel perfectly situated between the train station and Piazza Bra which makes it a short stroll to both. The location right outside the walls of the old town provides an easy access to explore the city while being away enough from the crowd. The property is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff were very awesome & helpful in giving tips on where to dine since there are dozens of restaurants around. Would absolutely love to stay there again on my next visit to Verona.

The location is very good: 12 mins walk from Porta Nuova train station (the few road crossings could be a bit tricky with luggage, but otherwise a easy walk); and about 12 mins straight forward walk to Arena. Staff are friendly and efficient, especially the two members working at breakfast. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent.

Decor stunning, Staff exceptional, Bed super-comfortable, Breakfast a delight - and served until 10.30am, Location perfect, 5 minutes walk from The Arena , train and bus station - ideal if you want to tour the area. Good selection of restaurants in the neighbourhood.

This hotel was the first we stayed at on the Italian leg of our recent holiday. It is ideally located within easy walking distance from both the railway station and the city old town..We had a room facing the road and whilst there was some traffic noise, this stopped during the evening. The room was well appointed and spacious. The only draw back was the actual shower size- it was very small. Breakfast was included in our fare and it offered a lot of variety- fantastic, the coffee was great. We found all staff to be very welcoming and professional

This hotel is beautiful and in a prime location. You can walk to the city center and other sites you will want to see in Verona. The bar is really cute and has craft cocktails. The breakfast they offer is impeccable and their food service staff is their best staff, especially James! The in-room dining is so delicious and service is quick. Front desk was not wildly friendly but kind and helpful. We stayed in a king suite and it did feel a bit small, however, the terrace is very spacious and overlooks the city street. Expect a veryy small shower. The AC would not go below 23 degrees celsius and we felt like it turned off in the middle of the night so we were sweating every night, unfortunately. We did call the front desk to see if they could fix this and they sent someone to our room but they did not offer a solution so must be the norm. Other than that, we loved our stay here! Thank you for your hospitality!

This is a beautiful hotel in a classic Italian style. It is located at the main boulevard, where you find lovely restaurants and pubs. There is no private parking however public parking places are near by. The hotel has some nice offers in combination with the Arena theater. If you like opera, the Arena is on walking distance. Our room was spacious, with a high quality materials, in a classic style. The breakfast is western orientated, with an English breakfast as well. I missed the typical Italian hospitality, the hotel could just as well have been in London.

Yelp
Decently located hotel. Just about a 10-15 min walk from the Verona train station, and maybe another 10 min walk to the Arena and some of the other more popular areas. Hotel itself was clean and well-kept. Breakfast was decent, with a combination of hot and cold food choices. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, as I kept getting an HTTP error when using certain apps or visiting certain websites on my phone, but I guess it "worked" in the sense that I was able to connect to the internet. Hotel service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
Great hotel in a convenient part of Verona. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station. Delicious breakfast is included in the room rate. Spacious quarters with comfortable beds, good size bathrooms, and a TV with several channels (some in English). Staff was very helpful and provided a map + directions. Verona is a beautiful city that's worth a visit plus stay at the Grand Hotel!

Yelp
The Grand Hotel is a short walk from the train station on the main strip leading into the town centre which makes it an ideal stop. Pleased to get this place for a very good price as it's a 4* hotel, the staff were extremely helpful and polite, and recommended a fantastic little restaurant for dinner. The room was spacious and had a huge en-suite bathroom. Unfortunately the view was over another building but to be honest you don't go to sit in the hotel and look out of the window! Free internet access and continental breakfast with hot breakfast available for extra. The décor and dining area were very nice, welcoming and relaxing and I found the room really comfortable as well.
