Hotel Indigo Verona - Grand Hotel Des Arts, an IHG Hotel

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful old building in a perfect location, short stroll to train station one way and to the Arena and centre the other way. We had a room with a balcony which was lovely. All the staff are so friendly and helpful from the reception team to the breakfast room staff. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had with an amazing selection of hot and cold choices, local bakery items and freshly made coffees and squeezed orange juice. Perfect hotel for a stay in Verona and handy for the train station if you are visiting i.e. Venice, Lake Garda etc.

A stunning hotel, beautiful decorated and spotlessly clean. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. There was a complementary mini bar and fresh bottled water that was replenished every day. The breakfast was outstanding. All the staff were lovely and friendly and everyone spoke English. The hotel was situated very close to the centre of Verona with a very short walk to bars, restaurants, and sights. We would 100% stay here again.

My husband and I had stayed here for our anniversary and it was a perfect stay. The front desk was very helpful and provided great resources for the local area. The bar was a nice place to hang and escape the midday heat. James enhanced the experience with excellent drinks and great conversation. Overall it was clean, comfortable, and lovely.

Fantastic hotel. Staff were lovely, Mara was extremely helpful with details of the area and food recommendations. 10 minutes from the train station and the main square. Rooms were immaculate and had everything you would need for a city break. Breakfast was great and there was a nice variety. Verona as a whole is lovely and this hotel made it so convenient for us as a whole. Would recommend!

This hotel has mostly good decor and is in good condition. Location works very well too. Room 115 quiet and big - classed as a One-Bedroom King Suite with Sofa Bed and Living Area. Lighting in the bathroom dull, but adequate. Not convinced about the worktops and bathroom tiles either. Staff are super friendly. Buffet breakfast very varied but the cooked items were too cold. No freshly cooked items.|Nice quiet and effective aircon.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The service was great! The staff at check-in spoke English very well and so did the bartender, James. I stayed awhile at the bar with my husband to grab a drink to share and James was so very helpful and efficient with our services. We saw him the next day as well and he got us an ice bucket and ice to serve us outside on the lovely patio. He was excellent!

This hotel is beautiful and in a prime location. You can walk to the city center and other sites you will want to see in Verona. The bar is really cute and has craft cocktails. The breakfast they offer is impeccable and their food service staff is their best staff, especially James! The in-room dining is so delicious and service is quick. Front desk was not wildly friendly but kind and helpful. We stayed in a king suite and it did feel a bit small, however, the terrace is very spacious and overlooks the city street. Expect a veryy small shower. The AC would not go below 23 degrees celsius and we felt like it turned off in the middle of the night so we were sweating every night, unfortunately. We did call the front desk to see if they could fix this and they sent someone to our room but they did not offer a solution so must be the norm. Other than that, we loved our stay here! Amazing hotel with amazing staff|This is without doubt one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in many hotels with my job as a travel agency owner , |||Staff are simply amazing , all of them , nothing is too much trouble but especially Andreas who checked us in and the wonderful James who is nothing short of an incredibly nice person who will make your stay special.||Breakfast had a good choice and was of excellent quality and the lady running the breakfast room was an absolute joy and so friendly each morning. ||Room was very comfortable and incredibly clean TV had enough English Chanels with movies and shows to watch , tea making facilities in the room and although we were on the front noise wasn’t an issue and the bed was so comfortable we always had a great nights sleep .||Location can’t be beat with an easy walk into the centre of Verona in about 5 minutes |and many bars and restaurants all around it even nearer.||Would we stay here again ? Absolutely , the staff are some of the best I’ve ever encountered and for that alone I would return and also will be recommending the hotel to all my clients coming to Verona||All in all a fantastic stay.
