The hotel is located in the main square of the City close to all amenities. The square is busy with lots of bars and restaurants. It’s also the centre for street markets and historical celebrations. Even though our room faced onto the square, it was quiet, as the soundproofing in the room was excellent. The room was perfect with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had possibly the best shower I’ve ever used.

We only stayed for one night but it was perfect. The hotel was located right in the plaza mayor. We stayed in a family room which had a bed for my husband and I and bunk beds for our daughters. There was a dresser and table and bar area and sink in the room. Very spacious. ||The staff was excellent and very kind. ||We had a rental car, which was the biggest mistake of our trip, but luckily this hotel offered valet parking so when we arrived at the hotel, there was a parking spot for us to unload. We gave them the keys for them to park us. If you have a car and stay here and can park the car lower and walk to the hotel I would recommend it. We were very lucky. We left by 9 AM before the city got busy because I did not realize how small the streets were in Segovia.

We stayed here three nights. The location is great as it sits right in front of the plaza mayor and the cathedral. There are many great bars and restaurants around the plaza. Everywhere we wanted to go was an easy walking distance. Our room was one of the few without a good view; I think it was the last room that they had. Still, the room was beautiful and very comfortable. Rooms had a classic European style, not a boring modern style. The breakfast was good and varied enough for our 3 day stay. In general the hotel staff was super friendly especially the breakfast ladies and the maids. The front desk people seemed a little stiff, however. I would happily stay here again but would book ahead with enough time to insure a room with a view.

Wonderful hotel at a perfect location. Right in the middle of the plaza. Our room was spacious and faces the town square. It’s quiet even with all the activities in the plaza. Walking distance to everywhere. The cathedral is right around the corner. Plenty of place to eat. A supermarket about 10 minutes walk away. The decoration of the room was tasteful. There was not a lot of counter space at the sink but they made up for it with a shelf in the bathroom. We took the bus from the train station to the aqueduct station. There was no taxi in sight at the station. After that, it’s a 12-15 minutes walk to the hotel. The staff were friendly. Recommend highly.

Had just the one night at this spectacularly located hotel across the Plaza Mayor from the Segovia Cathedral.||The room was spacious and the bathroom excellent for an old building. Staff were attentive without being particularly friendly. ||Plenty of restaurants and bars within metres of the hotel. While located on the main square, there was no intrusive noise at night.||Breakfast was basic but typical of Spanish hotels.||Value was quite good at about €110. ||About an €11 and 15 minute drive from the fast train station located a little out of town.

Fantastic location and very good breakfast make ordinary rooms and less than ideal maintenance less important. Standard old city-centre rooms - quite small and basic - but some notable maintenance issues including one affecting guest safety. That said, I would go back without hesitation, because the location and staff more than made up for the shortcomings.

Beautiful hotel right at Plaza Mayor and walking distance to pretty much every major attraction including Alcazar. Lots of cool clothing/other shops and restaurants a few steps away. Room was small but pretty, clean and well furnished. Bed was moderately comfortable. Bathroom was nice.

We were give the suite on the top floor, lift to 4 ,walk one flight, worth the effort, the room was huge with windows on two sides over the square, very comfortable bed , good seating areas. Breakfast reasonable choice, only slight downside was valet parking full, so we were given directions to public car park, walking back to hotel through narrow twists and turns- take note on the way up the hill to hotel, so you can find your way back in the morning!

Yelp
This hotel has such a great location, it's just crazy! You're basically at walking distance from every major tourist point. However, it is a little hard to get to via car since the streets are limited to local and business vehicles. However, if you're staying at the hotel, they do provide valet parking for your car for 15 Euros per day- which is great as we nearly got fooled by a public parking lot charging 30 euros! There are all kinds of local restaurants and tapas/bars right next to the hotel, all at a reasonable price. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because our room was non smoking, yet it smelled as if a chain smoker was standing inside the living room. Maybe we shared AC vents with another room? Not sure. Other than that, this hotel is one for the books and very much recommended!

Yelp
My wife and I recently spent two nights at this jewel of a hotel and we both recommend it highly. It is located on the Plaza Mayor, a major square (where the Cathedral is, and an easy walk to the Alcazar; the Cathedral, by the way, is lit at night, and it's a lot of fun to walk around the square then and watch the people). The fast-train station is located in the middle of nowhere, but a quick ride on the number 11 bus lets you off at the Aqueduct, and from there it is a short (10 minutes, maybe 15 if you're encumbered by bags) walk to the hotel. Our room (at the very top of the hotel, accessible by a short walk up some stairs from the top stop of the elevator) was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the Cathedral (and as an added bonus, on Saturday and Sunday mornings we saw hot air balloons lifting off and floating over the Cathedral). Free Wifi was available in the room and in the lobby. Our room did not come with breakfast, which was available for 9 euros each but the two of us ate well for about half that amount by walking across the street to a great pastry shop and buying croissants and bottled water. The hotel employees were consistently friendly and professional. The one thing I would point out, though, is that some of the rooms (including the one we had) are not handicap-accessible, so if you have problems in that regard it would be wise to let somebody know when you book a room. This was not a problem for us, however, and did not detract in the slightest from what was a very fine experience in a lovely city.

Yelp
I had booked Hotel Infanta Isabel in Segovis, Spain, through Booking.com What was originally a few nights stay turned into a few weeks. I had been travelling Spain for several months and when in Segovia I had found my second home. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable,The hotel is in the main square of the city. One can see, depending on the location of the hotel room, the main cathedral. Within a short walking distance one is at the famous Alcazar and the 2000 year old aqueduct. The square has several restaurants with most having outdoor seating including in the winter months as some days are pleasant enough to do so. The hotel has a restaurant offering a full menu all day long including room service. There are many services offered through the hotel. The staff are eager to please and very friendly. I have mobility issues and the staff were always helpful and accommodating. There is nothing that this hotel lacked. I highly recommend it.
