You can’t beat the location of this hotel! ON the Plaza Mayor, this hotel is central to everything you need in Segovia. Don’t pass up an opportunity to stay here in favor of other places. The room had a beautiful view of the Plaza and the sound was very minimal. Plenty of restaurants nearby which make this place 5 starts in my book. The staff was great and allows for us to leave luggage after our check out and pick it up later.

The hotel couldn’t be in a better location. It’s in the heart of the city overlooking the main square. Valet parking was fantastic and worth every penny. I wouldn’t fancy driving around the narrow streets trying to get parked. The room was comfortable and clean but is a little dated and in need of a refresh. The dining room is tiny but they make good use of the space. The staff were all friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

The hotel is well located, and the breakfast was good. However, my overall experience was unfortunately disappointing. The cold water system broke down in the late afternoon and wasn’t fixed until the next morning when we checked out. No running water meant no shower and no use of the toilet — two major issues when staying at a hotel. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of communication or any apology from the staff. Their indifference and lack of concern were truly unacceptable.

Charming hotel, well located right next to the Cathedral, and a lot of cafes and restaurants. The Staff were friendly. Clean and confortable rooms. I Will suggest to research if there any festivities in the plaza before hand, and Ask for a quiet room.

Our three days stay in the hotel Infanta Isabel were fantastic despite the fact that we were Plaza Mayor during the festivities. Hotel staff advised us in advance that there were going to be some noise, and it was quite noisy. However it did not bother us a bit, we just decided to embrace local celebrations and go to bed late. We were able to watch processions, concerts and dancing from our balcony which made unforgettable experience. Hotel itself is older but well maintained, comfortable and very clean with polite and helpful staff. We want especially recognize Graziela, beautiful and welcoming dining room hostess, who welcomed us every morning with a smile and assisted with breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will book it again if we come back to Segovia.

The amenities presented are all a lie. They are not at the hotel, instead a 15 minute drive away. Even the “taxi service” is a lie. I had asked the front desk in the morning about a taxi in the afternoon, they said it’d be no issue and to come back 5-10 minutes before wanting to leave and they would call a taxi that would cost about 10 Euros. When I went to the desk in the afternoon, she had said they were no taxis yet she didn’t even bothered to call. Then I told her about the morning and she called again, telling me a taxi will come she just doesn’t know when. What do you mean you don’t know when a taxi will come? You didn’t ask? By this time we either would wait however long or try for a bus, so we tried for a bus. For an expensive hotel, the service was horrible and there were no amenities. I would not recommend. There are cheaper and better places nearby.

Location is perfect for sight seeing and shopping! The front desk is also very helpful with any transportation or storage needs. Everything within the room was in very good condition and exceptionally clean. The front windows opened to a small balcony with a beautiful view of Plaza Mayor!

AC in room very noisy, needs maintenance. Couldn't really use AC it was so noisy. Not enough electric plugs, and some of them were very finicky and difficult to get to work, or just didn't work. But the location is great if you want to be on the main plaza. Bed was comfortable. Way overpriced and overrated.

Yelp
This hotel has such a great location, it's just crazy! You're basically at walking distance from every major tourist point. However, it is a little hard to get to via car since the streets are limited to local and business vehicles. However, if you're staying at the hotel, they do provide valet parking for your car for 15 Euros per day- which is great as we nearly got fooled by a public parking lot charging 30 euros! There are all kinds of local restaurants and tapas/bars right next to the hotel, all at a reasonable price. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because our room was non smoking, yet it smelled as if a chain smoker was standing inside the living room. Maybe we shared AC vents with another room? Not sure. Other than that, this hotel is one for the books and very much recommended!

Yelp
My wife and I recently spent two nights at this jewel of a hotel and we both recommend it highly. It is located on the Plaza Mayor, a major square (where the Cathedral is, and an easy walk to the Alcazar; the Cathedral, by the way, is lit at night, and it's a lot of fun to walk around the square then and watch the people). The fast-train station is located in the middle of nowhere, but a quick ride on the number 11 bus lets you off at the Aqueduct, and from there it is a short (10 minutes, maybe 15 if you're encumbered by bags) walk to the hotel. Our room (at the very top of the hotel, accessible by a short walk up some stairs from the top stop of the elevator) was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the Cathedral (and as an added bonus, on Saturday and Sunday mornings we saw hot air balloons lifting off and floating over the Cathedral). Free Wifi was available in the room and in the lobby. Our room did not come with breakfast, which was available for 9 euros each but the two of us ate well for about half that amount by walking across the street to a great pastry shop and buying croissants and bottled water. The hotel employees were consistently friendly and professional. The one thing I would point out, though, is that some of the rooms (including the one we had) are not handicap-accessible, so if you have problems in that regard it would be wise to let somebody know when you book a room. This was not a problem for us, however, and did not detract in the slightest from what was a very fine experience in a lovely city.

Yelp
I had booked Hotel Infanta Isabel in Segovis, Spain, through Booking.com What was originally a few nights stay turned into a few weeks. I had been travelling Spain for several months and when in Segovia I had found my second home. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable,The hotel is in the main square of the city. One can see, depending on the location of the hotel room, the main cathedral. Within a short walking distance one is at the famous Alcazar and the 2000 year old aqueduct. The square has several restaurants with most having outdoor seating including in the winter months as some days are pleasant enough to do so. The hotel has a restaurant offering a full menu all day long including room service. There are many services offered through the hotel. The staff are eager to please and very friendly. I have mobility issues and the staff were always helpful and accommodating. There is nothing that this hotel lacked. I highly recommend it.
