Earlier this month, I spent 8 days here, my second visit. I took a studio, which was located on one of the stone buildings across the courtyard from the main hotel. This allowed me to spread out and be more comfortable than in a standard room.||||Situated just sixty metres south of the Grand Place, the hotel is very clean. Staff members Camille, Eddy and Sam were as friendly and helpful as always. Breakfasts are of the standard Continental variety, comprising croissants, breads, ham, cheeses, scrambled eggs + coffee, tea etc, but was more than adequate for my needs. ||||Normally very quiet, there was an incident one night with four noisy residents talking loudly well into the night. The matter was dealt with efficiently and there was no recurrence. ||||I'm returning there in 2018.

Stayed in serviced apartment in this hotel; no frills, decent accommodation close to centre of town with well-priced parking. Town not particularly pleasant, with lots of beggars - some rather aggressive. War museum very good. Plenty of good restaurants and bars.

Was ok at the start. Very poor WIFI, but friendly cleaning staff. I was there for almost 2 years but the owner and her husband are not interested in anything apart from money. I was laid off from work due to the COVID 19 VIRUS and had limited income. Her and her husband were not helpful at all. All she did was send me emails demanding full rent (1800 euros per month) for 1 person. No reduction was acceptable to her, just interested in cash. I would encourage people to look elsewhere before going to that hotel. Also parking is very poor as she rents parking spaces to other shop owners in the town and we always asked to move cars because they double park. I have also suffered from respiratory problems in my time there, no doubt related to the mold that consistently grew in the bathrooms. There is also a problem outside with people causing trouble, loitering and drinking alcohol all hours of the day. It can be quite intimidating.

Stayed here with my two kids in a "three bed room" which was in a separate building across the car park from the main hotel. Before opening the door of the building the smell of cigarettes was overpowering. The entire building smelled like a dank bar. The room was clean, minus the smell. It was an odd setup, though. We would've been fine with a two double room, but were given that instead. The staff are incredibly friendly and the location is really what seals it. Having lived in Mons for 2 years, I had had friends and family stay at the hotel before, but in the actual hotel building itself, which seemed like a straight-forward decent place. The location from the hotel to the Grand Place (and other sites/locations in Mons) is spitting distance, and seeing as this is really the only hotel in Mons (that isn't dodgy or by the train station..), can't complain TOO much. It's a place to sleep, that's all you need.

Nicely located hotel a few steps from the main square. Rooms a small but well done (also includes tea/coffee in room very rare on the continent). One thing we were not aware of before we arrived was a charge for the car park.||Can be difficult to find the hotel.||We agree with another reviewer in regards to the reception staff, very friendly and helpful

We stayed in January for pleasure, and we booked based on the photos, which I don't really know what hotel room they were. ||Upon our arrival, the room was freezing, and the gentleman at the front desk simply told us to turn on the heating, I was expecting a warm room in January, so we had to wait in a restaurant for the temperature to return to normal.||||The second day, we pointed out that the room had not been cleaned and always the same gentleman pointed out to us that with a discounted rate (255 euros 3 nights) we had no right to cleaning ... but at the Carrefour near the hotel we could find everything we needed to do them.||On the contrary the manager was very courteous, but I don't think we will return and we will not recommend it.

Comfortable clean rooms, very friendly staff, reasonably priced and great location near the plaza. Good building security but the rooms do not have safes, door peep holes or door security locks. Also no irons which is inconvenient for business travelers. Overall, I recommend staying here and will come again.

Very good handy location, good breakfast with quite a few options, on site secure parking which was really helpful and very friendly staff. Room was a good size and we could have stayed longer. Loved the city.
