This is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had! We arrived prior to check in and wanted to explore the city by ourselves for a few hours. It turns out the hotel is in the middle of nowhere in a pretty shady part of town. There were no stores, cafes, or site-seeing spots within walking distance. The staff did not help us at all--they didn't even have maps. I don't think anyone there spoke English or even Spanish. There wasn't a cab stand and the staff had to call cabs for at least 100 people, so it took forever to get to the waterfront.||Upon returning to the hotel after check in time, the staff wouldn't talk to us about our rooms. They took my passport and disappeared. Any time I tried to talk to anyone they ran away!||We finally were set up with a room at around 6pm. The lobby bar was tiny and there were no others places to go, so we went to the pool area. It was pretty nice and had a great view of the city, but only 6 chairs for hundreds of guests. The bar-tender was only on duty sporadically, and didn't have many of the drinks or ingredients.||Our check out wasn't until noon the next day, so we wanted to sit by the pool but it was closed for maintenance.||The rooms were nice and airy. Only 2 elevators of 10 people for 17 floors, so long waits. The food was cheap but pretty bad. ||This was not a cheap hotel and I expected much more!

Located a couple of kms from the Centro area. Probably need to take a taxi to go anywhere.|The staff were friendly & helpful.|My room was spacious & comfortable. Everything worked fine. My large bed had clean linens & afforded me a comfortable quiet sleep.|The bathroom had good hot water & pressure.|Breakfast was adequate.

Using US standards this hotel needs some work to bring it up. Much of this hotel is old - the carpeting in the hallway, the stained and smelly towels, super worn and thin blankets, the scary taped wiring on a light in the room, the toilet lid that falls down when u sit on the seat (at least in my room). We filed a request for someone to fix that and for the 4 days we stayed there, it was not fixed. We asked for hand lotion and a shower cap and was told those items are not available. Also not available was a separate conditioner or a coffe maker in room. Hand soap and combo shampoo are attached to walls. |Many of the guests comment that there is not much to do or go and maybe not safe to go walking around the hotel. Though we did walk a few blocks one night to a local pub (Brasa105 Steak Pub) and found the streets quite desolated of people at night but we made it to and back from the hotel ok. The hotel is not a safe distance to the City Center and Uber which is cheap may be a better way to go.|When we arrived a sign noting the pool was out of service for 2 days starting on the day we arrived. When reservations were made we were not told of this. Bummer.|Then another night there was fumigation going on. Did we just hit it on bad days?None of this is good. |Breakfast buffet was included. It was perfectly acceptable. Not elaborate but enough choices for everyone. The fresh fruit was always my favorite.|This is not something the hotel could do but one night we had a power failure that lasted for several hours. We read that is a problem with Manaus and like everything else needs upgrades. I do believe our tourism dollars will help them.

Great stay at the hotel for a week. Promptly assisted by the hotel staff to fix the bathroom fan and the upper door lock. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in Manaus.

We just stayed here 3 nights. The hotel is clean and we used Google Translate to communicate with the staff. We walked from the Amazon Theater and felt safe, however, depending on who you talk to, they may tell it isn't that safe. There are not a lot of stores or restaurants nearby and the sidewalks are not the safest to walk on. None of this is the hotels issues, but just want to give you some details. Breakfast was good with some lunch items as well. We ate dinner here one night and it was ok. Use Uber to get around. It is cheap and quick!

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel overall. This hotel is in a good location, but was very quiet. The room was large and spacious, and parking was free. The highlight of this hotel was its breakfast, which was one of the best in town. Here is the only con: Like most hotels in the region, there was no A/C for the hallway. I think they were doing this to be more energy-conscious. Who don't want to save our planet? You get used to it very quickly.

A very resonable hotel located just out of the city centre. Refurbishments to the outside of the hotel were being carried out and the rooftop pool was unavailable. However for the price was highly impressed with the food and service. However the lifts were not the best and could seem cramped at times and without aircon inside wasnt a nice feeling with Manaus being a very hot place to visit. There was a shop inside and that came in handy for provisions and tours could be organised from here so that was great.

The location is great, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is friendly. The best thing about the hotel though was Silvia at the reception desk. She warmly welcomed us, quickly sorted out some issues with my reservation and more importantly, was a superb concierge as well. She answered all our questions patiently about what to do in and around Manaus, recommended different tours to explore the Amazon rainforest and in general was super helpful and patient with all my questions. Thank you Silvia for making our Manaus trip rich and enjoyable!
