Hotel Jnterlaken

We travel a lot so I had a very good idea about hotel ratings. A five star hotel has a wow factor. A four star Hotel is really nice and it’s a great place if you’re not planning on spending your days at the hotel. On a positive this hotel is newly renovated, the rooms are spacious, and the beds were quite comfortable. However, outside of the hotel lobby and dining room there really isn’t much there. So if you’re planning on spending only your nights at the hotel and want a clean, nice beautiful hotel this is perfect which worked for us. However, They’re just some little stupid things that really bothered me. First of all they say breakfast is from 630 until 1030. I would figure that I would be able to get a cup of coffee at 10:31 but I was wrong! They shut off the espresso machine and removed everything from the breakfast buffet at 10:30. Give me a break!! . They also had a tank of ice water which said do not fill up a water bottle. Now the hotel is worth the price and since we were in Interlaken for 4 nights it was fine and probably cost $5000 less than the jungfreau hotel!!!

Room is on the first floor with a nice view. It is very clean and front desk receptionist are very attentive and helpful. The only thing I suggest is to add more shelves in the bathroom and the round mirror should be reachable and adjustable for petite guests. Breakfast is very good and with selections. Dinner is not enough selections. Also, I was dissatisfied and disappointed with the cheese fondue. Cheese was really salty. I can’t taste the cheese. It’s like eating a table salt. I tried but unable to eat it. I told the server but I wasn’t offered with any replacement for the price that’s quite expensive and unable to eat. I still recommend this place but not the dinner.

What a lovely hotel. We were greeted with friendly response on arrival and loved our family room, with the most picturesque view of the mountains and the churches. Hotel was beautifully clean and really comfortable. We were most grateful for the fridge in the room stocked with water, giving us a space to keep drinks and snacks nice and cold. The hotel staff were very friendly, we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning which set us up well for a day of sightseeing. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant two nights, once we had the Swiss meal for two which was delicious, our first experience of fondue was really nice and we enjoyed the chocolate fondue for dessert! The waiting staff were really pleasant and really engaged with our eight year old son when taking his order. ||The lounge as you come into the hotel had fresh cold water available, much needed in the heatwave! Also available were teas and coffee, a microwave, kettle and crockery should you want to cater for yourself. ||An eight minute walk from Interlaken Ost station. ||We really enjoyed our time at the hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if we are in Interlaken again.

Everything is good in this hotel. Walking distance to train station about 8 minutes. Restaurant in the hotel is good , partially the cheese fondue. Breakfast has lots choices and good quality. Room is fair enough size with double bed and sofa bed for 3 of us. Room rate is very reasonable.

Loved the breakfast ( as an Asian, enjoyed the rice included in the breakfast buffet) Location was great, walking distance to train station, restaurants and parks. Friendly service from all the staff. Will definitely stay there again

A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service in a Prime Location We had a fantastic experience at this hotel, which is perfectly situated in the heart of Interlaken, making everything incredibly accessible. The rooms were exceptional, offering not just comfort but also breathtaking views that made our stay truly special. The highlight of our experience was the outstanding service we received. We were exceptionally well taken care of by Valentina at the front desk; she was wonderfully accommodating with all of our requests and made us feel completely welcome. I also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, and it's clear he is deeply committed to ensuring a positive customer experience. While our stay was overwhelmingly positive, giving a four-star rating due to a suboptimal experience with another gentleman at the front desk (who has tattoos and works the morning shift). His demeanor is consistently curt and rude, which stood in stark contrast to the warm hospitality of the rest of the team. Owner should give additional coaching on customer service ensuring all staff reflect the hotel's otherwise high standards. We left with amazing memories of our time in Interlaken and would recommend this hotel for its location, rooms, and wonderful staff like Valentina.

It’s a very nice property. Very conveniently located walking distance from interlaken station. They gave us a room upgrade. A small cafe with coffee machine, microwave, plates is open 24 hrs and is free to use. Superb customer service I must say.

The staff were extremely kind, thoughtful and helpful. Very welcoming. Location was great to navigate wherever you wanted to go in the area. The only downside was no view of the mountains. We were on the first floor, not sure if there are views from other rooms. The room itself was new, very clean with an amazing shower.

Extremely disappointed with this hotel. Please stop advertising that it has AC. I paid extra to find a hotel that had AC. The room was hot the bathroom was like a sauna. I was told the AC only gets 5 degrees cooler than it is outside, so if you're staying here in the summer, good luck! Glad I only stayed one night. Plus the room is outdated. It's dusty which is why I didn't sit on the couches. Plus, the wall ceiling looked as if it was caving in. This was the upgraded room. I can't imagine the how the economy rooms look and feel. Staff was also rude. Only plus side is that it's close to the train station.

Room= clean with nice bathroom but the sheets on the bed were horrible. Duvet was very thick and heavy and room (entire hotel,actually) was very hot. We had our window open all night. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable,and willing to help. Very disappointed in the food for dinner but breakfast buffet was nice Good location. A Walking around town, I wish we had stayed at the much less touristy Hotel Goldy

Beautiful hotel in a picturesque and prime location. Wonderful staff, cute and clean rooms, great service, and breakfast included! We had such a nice stay! I would definitely recommend!

The wait staff was friendly and the food was good. We stopped in with small appetites but they treated us respectfully. I enjoyed the asparagus ravioli appetizer. In usual Swiss fashion, the waiters became invisible once our food was served. Paying the check shouldn't be that complicated!

Probably my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot of hotels. Good location and just gorgeous room, comfortable bed, great balcony overlooking the pond; watched the sun rise from the balcony one morning over the mountains, perfect. Nice level of luxury; super nice but not crazy over-the-top fancy.
