Hotel Iravati Chamba

When in Chamba, don't waste your effort and time looking for alternatives because this is THE place to stay. The price is worth it. Besides, it's not like others are cheap, they quote outrageous prices at first and I bet their service will suck. I saw one other hotel that gave me a similar price for a very smelly claustrophobic room. Iravati's food is also good. It's tasty and everything is fresh. They may take a while to cook, but the food is good here. Rooms are nice. Highly recommended.

A government cozy hotel situated a prime location. Maximum tourist spots are walking distance from the hotel. View from balcony is awesome. Bathroom was large. The room was spacious & clean. Staff was cordial. I found smart tv first time in hotel. They don't have lift facility. Food quality was good and tasty. Price is little high.

Neat and clean hotel at the heart of the city (the next building houses District Collector's office!). They have their own parking, which is mostly encroached (for want of a better word) by visitors in the next door government offices. Desk manager is very attentive and helpful. The only downside of the hotel is their restaurant. The food wasn't up to the mark, neither delicious nor quality.

Hotel is prime located, service is great. But you don't get quick hot water. Its takes long time for geyser to start working. View is amazing from the room

Located centrally, it is less than a kilometer from the NH154A road, a 6-minute walk from Champavati Temple and a 9-minute walk from the Bhuri Singh Museum. Chaugan is just across the road. Rooms are airy, spacious, decently furnished with attached baths and running hot & cold water. Very good infrastructure, but maintenance is not up to marks, like my room did not have proper lock! Room service, Laundry, Parking within premises etc all are available. Restaurant is available and food is reasonably good, particularly breakfast. An attractive lawn is there next to restaurant. Wi Fi facility is there, though you have to ask for it and no body told me when I checked in. SDM office and a Club is in the complex, making it crowdy.

The rooms and location are great. Connected to main localities of chamba. The food was delicious as well. Enjoyed my stay Thanks! Parking can be a small problem rest is good.

This property run by the HPTDC is probqbly the best option if you want to stay right on choughan, the heart of chamba. Rooms are spacious with basic amenities as you would expect. Reception and other hotel staff members are cooperative and polite. Food is also decent in taste. Overall a good experience!

Although we did not stay at the main hotel we went to the restaurant for lunch. Most of the places around are extremely local and unhygienic but this place is very clean co-ordinated amd serves you fresh food. The food was tasty and not super oily or spicy which was a great point compared to all other food places we explored in dalhousie and chamba. The service was very quick and variety good to. In the heart of the city hotel irawati is a great place if you are going to chamba.
