We stayed two nights in a Double deluxe room which overlooked the main Street on the top floor. Parking right outside for our hire car. Only a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops etc. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Room was quiet and very roomy. Bed very comfortable. Recommended.

We booked this hotel with credit card points, but it seemed rather steep for one night. It was in a good location and the view of the bay from the restaurant were great. The staff at the hotel were all very unfriendly. We made a reservation for dinner, were seated promptly, but it took forever for the waitress to come back each time. They forgot part of our order and my husband had to get up and ask someone who was sitting down at one of the dining tables with a laptop to get it. The food was mediocre. The room was very large, and I loved that it had a bath tub. It did overlook into an office building though on one side, so that was a little weird seeing people working. Would have loved for the rooms to overlook the harbor instead of the buildings. It was great for one night, but I don't think I'd stay here again.

Walking up to it and seeing weeds along the front and siding falling off was a bit off-putting, but the inside was very nice. Probably the best hotel in town. Great breakfast.

We only spent one night at this hotel. We had a beautiful corner room with a great view from our large windows of the fjords. If I had any complaint about this hotel it would be checking in. When we arrived and there was a sign on the door of the entrance (I had posted in my pictures ) that told us we had to go to another location which was another hotel and the breakfast location that we would eat at the next morning; other than that we were happy with this hotel. For this inconvenience I gave this hotel a 4 star. This hotel was located in the center of Isafjordur. We had free parking and It was clean, spacious, and quiet with comfortable beds and pillows, with a seating area, and a desk area. Great WiFi. Great morning breakfast, but in a different building. You can walk there or drive to it and there is plenty of parking. But know there is no bathrooms available to use in the restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Room was very comfortable and we had an excellent view of the harbor, grassy park, and mountain. Breakfast was good ... standard offerings of Icelandic hotels .. and the restaurant is pleasant. Hotel is located right downtown, so convenient to everything. This was the only hotel of our trip that didn't offer mini-fridges.

Tremendously expensive for what we received. The building is very much like a college dorm -- in fact, I suspect it WAS a college dorm. Clean, spare, and small with long connecting hallways. My friend and I shared a double room which was spotlessly clean but only adequate - you'd get more from a Hilton. The pillows were very comfy, but it was remarkably small without room to open suitcases. Breakfast was fabulous, but there was no way the stay was worth $277/night. We stayed a number of places in Iceland over 10 days and this one was the most expensive. Disappointing.

A fabulous, beautifully designed interior hotel, right opposite the water . Fantastic location, wonderful staff and efficient service. Dinner was lovely, best to book as it gets busy as it’s the best place in town. Lovely spacious room.

We spent two nights in Isafjordur, and enjoyed our accommodations at the Hotel Isafjordur. There are actually four locations managed by the same company, and they call them all Hotel Isafjordur, with secondary names to distinguish them. We stayed at the main location (nicknamed Hotel Torg on their website) which is right in the center of town, across from the harbor. There is a restaurant on the ground level, with sweeping views of the water and hills. We didn't try the restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the breakfast buffet was quite good, and included with our stay. Rooms are on the smallish side, but very comfortable. The sole elevator was cramped. But really, the most important thing is location, and this really is close to everything. A good value for your time in the westfjords.
