Hotel Ishan - A Riverside Retreat by Salvus, Rishikesh

We stayed here over a weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself is not luxurious, but it's clean, peaceful, and has a lovely view of the Ganga. The staff are genuinely polite no fake smiles, just helpful and respectful. Anushka was very sweet during check-in and made sure we got a room with the view we wanted. Safety wise, we felt comfortable leaving our elderly parents in the hotel while we went out exploring. Everything is within walking distance - the bridge, temples, and small dhabas where you can eat. Overall, a reliable choice if you want a peaceful stay.

I surprised my wife for her birthday and we stayed at Hotel Ishan it was the best decision! The Ganga view room was beautiful and really made the occasion special. The food here is tasty and we both loved the peaceful vibe. The spa session was so relaxing a perfect gift for her! The staff were all so kind, especially Anushka Ma’am and Suhasini Ma’am at the front desk who helped us with everything, from check-in to planning a small cake surprise. Also, it’s a pet friendly place which we loved Holi, the hotel’s calm dog, added such a homely touch. Highly recommend Hotel Ishan for anyone planning a special stay in Rishikesh!

First room I was in was newly renovated. I like the aesthetic of it. Other room was ok though the Ganga view was incredible. The highlight of my stay was the staff, namely Suhasini, Rahul, Anushka and Pankaj. They all are very nice and made my stay comfortable, fun and easy to explore. The location of the hotel is great as it is near to the ghat which was important to me. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing stay.

This was my second visit to Rishikesh, though my first time trying Hotel Ishan. The property isn't big, but it has a very calm, easygoing atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. Since I was traveling solo, I really valued how safe and welcoming It felt. My room was clean and faced the river starting the day with chal and that view was such a treat. The staff, including Anushka at the front desk, were polite and approachable whenever I had questions. The food is simple, light, and homely, which worked perfectly for me. The location is excellent only a short walk to Laxman Jhula, plenty of little cafés, and the ghats for evening Aarti. For anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay, this place is a great choice.

Visited Arches Café in Laxman Jhula and absolutely loved it. The vibe is cozy with a beautiful Ganga view that makes your coffee taste even better. Their coffee is spot on, and I’d strongly recommend trying the brownie – it’s delicious! Perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the calm of Rishikesh. i was staying at Hotel ishan so use to spend quality time there .

I booked Hotel Ishan for two nights and it turned out to be just the kind of place I was looking for.||The hotel is calm and away from the usual rush, yet close enough to walk to Laxman Jhula and nearby cafés.| My room was basic but tidy, and the view of the Ganga each morning was worth it. |The staff here are genuinely polite and helpful, not overbearing. Anushka at reception was very kind and welcoming, which made the stay more comfortable. The rooftop is a lovely spot to sit in the evenings. |Food could be a bit better, but with plenty of eating options close by, it didn't bother me much.| Overall, a safe and peaceful stay that I would happily recommend.

The stay was comfortable! Have to meet the Room Service guy! “Manoj Rana”! Such an amazing guy. Made us Laugh made our stay enjoyable and entertaining! The Receptionists were really helpful and respectful!
