I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Apart from the food quality, there was nothing good about my stay. I had booked a balcony room, but it was unusable due to 4-5 lizards constantly present in the area, making it uncomfortable to sit outside. Rooms are very small. Basic services like providing cutlery with food were also a hassle — I had to make 2-3 follow-up calls each time just to get it. Parking is another major issue. Guests are expected to park their vehicles 300-400 meters away from the hotel, and there are no valet services available. The rooms were not up to the mark and did not match the images shown during booking. Towels provided were not properly cleaned, which was very disappointing. Additionally, while the staff initially agreed to reimburse the parking charges, they created excuses at the time of checkout and refused to pay. After some back-and-forth, they eventually agreed, but the experience was unpleasant. Overall, a very disappointing stay.

Very poor service and location. Its a narrow road leading upto the hotel without any parking support. There is a famous (but average food) cafe, mostly occupied by outside guests, in the hotel which spoils the peace and privacy for the staying guests. There is lot of chatter and noise around, which disturbs the peace. There was a cafe table just outside our room and it was disturbing us. Staff refused any help. Service at the hotel is lazy and unprofessional. Tea bags went out of stock and weren't replaced. Exhaust fan stopped working and it took hours for them to take action after repeated complaints. TV remote wasnt working but no prompt action here as well. Wont recommend the place for families at all. Huge inconvenience because of poor service and outside guests across the hotel lobby.

Had worst experience in this hotel at rishikesh, with such high price range , there were bed bugs , no cleanliness at all, the food in the cafe was a hit and a miss, planned to stay for 4 nights, had to look for another hotel the 2 nd day itself . No infrastructure maintenance at all, no renovation since years, the amenities are just for pictures not for use. Only good part is the view from the hotel for which they are charging so much. A memorable stay with a stunning view and warm hospitality! Hotel Ishaan in Rishikesh was a lovely experience overall. The location is fantastic—just about 100 meters from the Ganga, so a quick dip is always an option, and the local market is close by too. Our room was a bit on the pricier side, but the beautiful view of Lakshman Jhula and the river made it completely worth it. The hotel staff—Rahul, Manoj, and Deepak—were extremely friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. Since there’s no direct parking, they guided us to a nearby paid parking area and even refunded the charges at checkout, which was a thoughtful gesture. There’s an in-house café called Arches, which is such a gem! The café staff is equally warm and welcoming. Special shoutout to Barista Anil, and also to Sous Chef Sourabh for the delicious food. While the menu is a bit limited, everything we tried was tasty, and they even have live music on some evenings which creates a great vibe. The road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow, but manageable. Overall, an amazing stay with stunning views and a very homely, welcoming feel. Would love to come back!
