Hotel Istiqlol

After cycling for about 5 days under the sun I found that quiet place to relax and recover myself a bit. I was able to check-in about 9am, which is highly appreciated! The room and bed is clean and tidy and has a good AC. The staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks a good English. Free laundry service. Save courtyard to store your bicycle. Close to the Palace, supermarkets and a pizzeria with AC too😊 200'000 SOM for a single room. Cash/Card accepted.

We stayed at Hotel Istiqlol for three nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The rooms were very comfortable & clean, & the staff were extraordinarily helpful and kind. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond, assisting us with organising taxis, giving us information & recommendations on local restaurants, assisting us with our laundry, & even driving us to the local bus station & organising a good fare with local drivers to get us to our destination. We would highly recommend staying with Hotel Istiqlol in order to experience their fantastic hospitality & kindness!

We stayed in a twin room for a night with AC without breakfast for 300,000 soms, but AC didn't work very well. That's why we changed hotels. The cleanness of the room was avarage. The shower was warm enough and had a water pressure although the fans in the bathroom was very noisy. Wifi worked well in the room. The staff was super friendly and understood some English. The location is very good.

We arrive late with no reservation but staff found us a room available. Even if it's was a superior room we found a arrangement about the price (much lower that it should have been).||They managed also a car to drive us from Kokand to the frontier of Kirghizstan, near Osh. They even bargained for us !||One little thing is missing : a special room for breakfast. The rest was perfect !

There is not much choice in Kokand so we booked largely on the basis of reviews on Trip Advisor. What a disappointment. On the plus side, the room and communal areas were generally clean but the bathroom smelt really bad - we think from the drains. We had twin beds. The bedsheets were clean but the quilts were very stained and the pillows were hard foam. The towels were old and hard. The breakfast was very limited (grapes, cold boiled eggs, some cold meats and cheese and some cold French toast with cheese) There was also bread on offer but turned out to be rock hard, presumably from the day before. The lady on reception said we needed a check out card stamped because we were leaving Uzbekistan but this wasn’t |ready so we had to return later with our guide to pick it up.

The nearest hotel to the Khan's palace open to foreigners. Though their rate for foreigners is 2x higher than Uzbeks, the hotel is okay. The receptionist is exceptional.

I think this is very comfortable hotel in Kokand. When I come to Kokand I always accommodate to this hotel

Nice place for a resonable price. Good service right next to the palace.
